Hey, so I went to Thailand Jan last year and was a little disappointed as far as the lays and the ladies went. I was only in Bangkok for 4 nights, Phuket for one and the islands for a couple of nights each, twelve days all up. Yes, it was easy to get matches on Tinder and then dates.

Some of the problems I encountered though......

- Thai women speak barely any English
- A lot of the women on Tinder are prostitutes, I ended up on a date with one, not realizing she was a prostitute until I got there.
- Even regular girls want a little cash to sleep with them

I don't lack in the looks department and am in great shape. It's just that it wasn't in the end the pussy paradise I was lead to believe.

I think J-Roc is quite right. I have been going to the Philippines 2-3x times a year for 7 years. Just dealing with a call center on behalf of our company. But have dated lots of girls there too. Two things I've observed even in that short time:

(i) Many girls there are notably heavier than a few years ago. There used to be more stick-thin beauties that had figures of 5 foot supermodels. Not nearly as prevalent now. Perhaps this is due to the increasing influence of Westerners and more time spent at Jollibee's rather than eating healthy rice/fish/vegetable dishes. But without a doubt I have noticed this. Personally my heart melts for the super thin coltish ones, but those are rarer and rarer. To my mind, that's the only type that's worth dating there -- the round-faced filipina girls with average bodies do absolutely nothing for me.

I used to laugh on the online dating sites when a girl would say, as far as her weight, that she was "average" when she was 5'2" and 85 lbs. Now it's more like -- on DIA at least -- if a girl that height is under 105 she considers herself "slim". I cannot get over how many girls I've met who, as soon as you cut her over to Facebook and get a look at her pics, I'm like, well no thanks she's just too fat.

(ii) Most girls are far more westernized. It's incredibly common now for women there to have a white boyfriend in addition to whatever her social life is there. As such, they're much more used to the idea of Western guys and not so absolutely blown away by the whole thing. The great majority of girls, probably 90%, do some form of online dating. Some years ago that was a lot rarer. I'm sure that two decades ago the whole thing was as different as night and day.

(iii) The whole multiple-boyfriend thing seems more prevalent now. Filipinas have never been deserving of high ratings for honesty, but the institutionalized lying that goes on there (meaning, involving whole families acting in concert) is unreal.

(There are some things you can do to rally against this -- some innocent, some downright savage. I've done both. We all can/should talk about that some other time.)

But the simple fact is that almost all of them have, at least if they are attractive, so you just have to deal. Something seems decidedly yuck about that; can't put my finger on it.

These two things directly correlate. That's a hard red pill for some to swallow, but coming to SEA isn't going to save you if your ugly or retarded, with the exception of those willing to outright pay for it. At least you're honest, most doomsayers never tell us why they really had such a bad experience.

At the end of the day you don't sound retarded, and I doubt you're crippled or disfigured, so there still has to be aspects of your appearance or personality that you could work on, or a different technique that would yield better results.

I'm too old to compete with you young guys I suppose, but I personally would stay off Tinder when in the PH. It's just such a race to the bottom. Many really yucky girls there and absolutely zero romance or good vibes to the thing. Yes, just go up and talk to girls in person. You have to be respectful because an attractive girl is likely to have a boyfriend and IME if he's Asian he can get really really pissed off. Being tall and white doesn't give you any point in the Philippines anymore. If you want to get the cream of the crop 9s and 10s you must go to socialize and meet Filipinas outside of online. That's the only way and it's not an easy task I assure you they are not really easy. But it's worth it I'd rather bang one 9 rather than ten 7s any time of the day.

I keep hearing so much hype on the Philippines and how it's basically Thailand 2.0. However I'll never go not out of disappointment or xenophobia or anything.
