I bumped fists with Iron Mike Tyson when he was in Copenhagen to fight years ago. Huge dude as wide as he is tall. Seemed pretty chill but his crew was a bit intimidating.

I sent a mass text to 5 girls a shirtless photo on an old iPhone and it showed recipients to ALL of them. She was pissed as hell. We were not exclusive, but she was leaning in that direction with her actions/words.

Shook hands with Chicharito (Little Pea) years ago when he was still in Guadalajara in a training session at a park I use to play in LA. Also many other Mexican soccer players when Mexico practiced in the same park. Gio dos Santos, Carlos Salcido, Guillermo Ochoa and more. Not bigtime famous but in Mexico and among Latino's they're gods.

Saw David Beckham at Disneyland on my 8th grade fieldtrip.

The people I've met are nothing in comparison but here goes. Most of the Americans will only know Hatton and Beckham:

Boxers:

- Ricky Hatton (3 or 4 times about 10 years ago - though saw him at a restaurant recently, but didn't bother him as he was with his kids)

- Ahem...Tyson Fury (attended same boxing club for a short while)

- David Haye (met at book signing, but also managed to get special access to the weigh in at most recent fight in 2012 - so twice technically)


Man United players:

- Paul Ince (knocked on his door for an autograph as a kid)

- Dwight Yorke (same as above)

- Andy Cole (came to our school for some event)

- David Beckham (almost knocked him over in a supermarket when I was about 16. Was very starstruck but he was extremely friendly

Misc:

- All the 'Gladiators' from the TV show (UK version). My Uncle (though just my auntie's bf at the time) somehow got me to an event where they were doing promo. I actually forget all the time about it. There's a picture of me with all of them, signed too, floating around somewhere.

Another soccer one. I was at a Premier League game in London last fall and got face-to-face with Michael Laudrup when he was managing Swansea. I didn't know what to say as I wanted to wish him good luck for the match, but I didn't want to incite the home team supporters around me.

Not as big as some of the other names dropped around here, but it felt pretty cool to be around a guy who was a big player in a World Cup, and who had both played and won titles at Juventus, Barcelona, and Real.

Dennis Rodman. 4am in Taipei airport. Oh man he was in a BAD mood. I sad hello and he responded with "....*Sigh*....Oh my godddddd.....". I eventually got him to lighten up when I mentioned North Korea

Dennis Lyxzen from Refused. Talked to him for twenty minutes after a gig, really cool guy. He dealt with a group of rowdy skinheads like a pro. They kept heckling him in between songs. He kept taking the piss out of them but it went over their heads every time.

Rory from Enter Shikari. He went crowdsurfing. Me and my friend dropped him then the song stopped and Rou said "Wait?!.....Where's Rory?! haha". We picked him back up and got him near the front, then they continued. Met the band after the gig, nice guys.

Ah that was a fucking awesome gig actually. When I came out my hands had the 'wrinkly effect' you get after a two hour soak in the bath haha.

He was a fun dude. Talked to him for about 2 min in 2005-6. Nice bloke that loves to laugh he was messing with my cousin a bit. I was kind of intimidated though, it's something about his presence .

Met AI in London for a Reebok promotion.

Seen Floetry somewhere in London.

Seen Jamal Magloire at multiple soca fetes in Toronto and played some hoops with him in Flemo.

Met Tommy from Martin show in Miami. Met the Clipse and Ab liva in Miami also.
Met Delroy Lindon in Eaton Centre in the dot. Some cat thought he was Samuel L Jackson but I knew it was Delroy from 'Romeo Must Die'.

Not sure they count as celebrities but, due to my work on a poker site, have met pretty much every well known poker player including a few world champs (Hachem, Fossilman, Moneymaker, Gold).

Hachem is a good guy to talk to.

I met Bill Clinton before he was president. I met Jerry Brown the same day.

I shared an elevator with Rob Snider. Just me and him. He stared down at his shoes. I found out he was there (my hotel) with Adam Sadler.

I saw heather Locklear in the mall in 1998. I was disappointed because she wasn't as hot as I thought and was showing signs of aging already.

I saw Joe Montana three times, at the store etc. once he was stuck in traffic and really pissed off and throwing f bombs and punching his steering wheel. I'm guessing the concussions have had a lasting effect.

I saw hall of fame defensive lineman Bruce Smith at a strip club getting a lap dance.

I saw Hugh Jackman a year or two ago walking to his hotel. I didn't know who he was until then.

I saw Steve Allen and his wife (sister of Ralph Cramden of the Honeymooners) in the Chicago airport in the 90s. I saw Jackie the Joke man Martling there once too.

I saw Cokie Roberts and Sam Donaldson at the airport waiting for a flight to Oklahoma City for the Timothy Mcveigh trial.

I saw Kevin James at the airport once. He saw I recognized him and seemed proud of himself.

Oh I yeah I talked to Jerry Seinfeld once at a hotel bar in Canada.

I had no clue who he was (his show had not taken off in the UK at the time).

He spent the whole time telling me how famous he was.

Met a few other comedians on the same trip but probably only famous in the UK - Reeves + Mortimer, Harry Enfield etc.

Paul Whitehouse used to be my next door neighbour. Down to earth dude.

I'm sure there's twice as many. I'm notoriously bad with recognizing celebrities and there's been many times where I'm talking to someone and a coworker tells me, "Do you know who that was?" I like making the rounds at catering/dinner events and wind up meeting god knows who.

Met Joe Montana in a grocery story in the 1990s in Kansas City suburbs. He was pushing a shopping cart with his daughter riding in it. Very cool.

Sat next to Celtics ballplayer Kevin McHale back in the late 1980s on a plane when I was a student. He was in a foul mood.

Met Hulk Hogan in San Diego when I was in the military. He is bloody huge as hell, but very cool.

And the weirdest "celebrity"...I don't know if you'd call him a celebrity or a historical figure. One of my clients about 11 years ago was Jim Hosty, the former FBI agent who was in charge of handling Lee Harvey Oswald before the Kennedy assassination. Hosty's dead now, but he was a nice guy. He never wanted to talk about Oswald, though. Ever.
