I keep coming back to this thread, it's really stuck in the back of my head. I think it's all the talk about massive civil unrest and impending economic crashes.

One MGTOWer I was listening to was talking about Trump ending the free ride for single moms. The appointment of Ben Carson seems to support that prediction. I think the correction is coming, but it will take 1-2 generations to play out, and of course those lowest on the totem pole (ie ghetto/trailer trash) will be affected first, with young hot urban women affected last.

As the money runs out, women will no longer have the option of a free ride from the gov't, nor will there be as many cushy bullshit urban office jobs available to them, nor will there be as many men able/willing to support them. And really, these are women's only three options.

I'd also add that our perception of this issue (like all issues) is skewed by mass culture--media, politics, etc. We're bombarded with images of women "kicking ass" in urban settings, plus we tend to remember all the times we were shot down, fucked around, etc. We are never shown the reality of the miserable woman chowing Prozac, Xanax, etc, and zoning out at work Googling Botox clinics while not being able to help but notice her boss now pays more attention to the 24 year old he just hired.

Another angle, with my personal experience (having my life fall apart while the women in my life who have behaved selfishly and irresponsibly have waltzed off scot-free) in mind: individual women will continue getting away with murder, until society can no longer bear it and we see a gradual societal decline of which women cannot be spared except perhaps by joining harems. So, they'll be spared the direct brutality reserved for men during a collapse, but they will no longer be able to look in the mirror and pretend to be anything besides what they actually are. Cognitive dissonance will become unsustainable--that will be the true correction, the bursting of the misandry bubble.

I think Trump was the peak of the misandry bubble. Grab 'em by the pussy president shows feminism has lost it's power. But unlike what the Futurist predicted, it did not "burst." Trump is more like a pinprick of a giant balloon that is starting to deflate. It's going to be downhill for female power from here, but there is such a long way to go and so much more damage to be done. It remains an open question if the country's female problems can be fixed before we go bankrupt or suffer a massive demographic collapse.
