I think your theory is feasible and it's something what I was thinking, it would explain the 45000ft altitude to knock out everyone on board too, like some hacker playing flight simulator but with the actual malaysian airlines flight?

RE: Malaysia Airlines Flight Missing Over Vietnam
I've noticed the chicks who were shown-off to earlier by the younger pilot said he smoked cigarettes during the flight, AS WELL AS having people in the cabin against regulations.

Dude was a stupid fuck-up. Smoking cigs around switches on which hundreds of people's lives depend, tarring them up, you also have to have SOMETHING TO LIGHT THE CIGS WITH like a butane lighter....

Some kind of fire leaving them with limited control and navigation sounds like the most likely explanation I've heard do far, I am not a pilot however.

Also some unfortunate combo-- front tire on fire, idiot co-pilot not responding well to emergency, older pilot becoming ill....

And if the airline knew about that crap with the chicks in the cockpit AND smoking in the cockpit post 9/11, and didn't fire him-- they are a fuckup airline as well and thus who knows what other shit was lax.

I feel the same way. What freaks me out when on the surface of the ocean is thinking about the mind-boggling expanse of water below me. If you've ever snorkled in the open ocean as I have, you look down and the light fades out below you into this dark abyss which you can't see the end of. It's kind of terrifying. Not to mention all the dangerous shit that lives down there, like the Colossal Squid with tenticles as long as a bus that could tear you to pieces.

Look at this grahic showing the depth of the ocean to scale. The little black pixel at the top represents a 6ft man. Crazy!

IKE nailed it.

Copilot is getting a blow job while smoking a cig and blowing smoke into captains face after a stressful clear night takeoff.

In the mean time smoke tar plugs up comms and a transponder.

Captain puts oxygen mask on and cranks up the flow.

Captain cannot handle so much oxygen, gets high and decides to practice stalls and steep turns for his upcoming SIM ride.

"Faint" pings reported over Kazakhstan.

Not to derail too much, but on the Deep Ocean tip, I'm excited for science to uncover more in our lifetimes as the technology becomes more feasible.

The same way the Amazon's biodiversity holds a treasure trove for medicine, I bet the fish and insect looking things way down in the ocean have dna we could learn from for making some really strong and incredible materials.

And in turn, we could explore more, and have luxury submarines going deeper like the Nautilus:

ahh Nautilus, I know what you mean speakeasy, I've snorkled too and I'm a great swimmer but seriously the vast expanse of the oceans on this planet, uh uh, one place I wouldn't want to be is in the Roaring Forties, Furious Fifties or Screaming Sixties in the southern ocean where that debris could be. If you want to set a sailing around the world record you'd have to make use of those winds to do it.

The latest thinking seems to be that the senior pilot forced the junior pilot to speak to air traffic control to say everything was okay.

Before ditching the plane in the sea.

This seems to be the avenue the investigators are heading down.

It was mentioned earlier in the thread, but @flyingwithfish on twitter has been days ahead with accurate info. It seems he has very very strong sources all over the US gov't.

The thinking is that the Pakistani ISI hijacked the plane and flew it to Pakistan.

This theory raises more questions than answers. Why? Was it sponsored at the state level? If so, why this plane with so many Chinese residents?

If true, this is a sure fire way to piss off both the US and China. It seems almost incomprehensible.

Was Somalia within reach of the plane's fuel level? That may be the only place lawless enough in that region that such a thing could happen under the cover of darkness.

Speakeasy,
Somalia is far from being the only lawless place in the region. Pakistan would make Somalia look like Japan...

Almost certain now that the Malaysian pilot is guilty. Moments before take-off, he was phoning a strange woman who herself was using a fake ID and an untraceable phone, from within the airport...

But, to what purpose did they steal the plane?

RE: Malaysia Airlines Flight Missing Over Vietnam
This is a long shot theory but I think there's a strong possiblity that the plane was hijacked by a resurgence of the Tamil Tigers (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam/LTTE) and flown to the north east region of Sri Lanka.

The LTTE have a history of stealing planes and using them in terror attacks.

From the plane's last position, it's a straight shot over open ocean to the northeast Sri Lanka which the entire area is controlled by the LTTE. This can explain why there was no radar contact.

The LTTE was defeated militarily in 2009 but around 150 of the top brass escaped. The LTTE had developed a massive international network with a lot of clandestine activities in Malaysia so this theory may have something to it.

Malaysia Airlines has informed the relatives of those aboard missing flight MH370 that they believe no one on the plane survived.
The following SMS message was sent to relatives: “Malaysia Airlines deeply regrets that we have to assume beyond any reasonable doubt that MH370 has been lost and that none of those on board survived. ... we must now accept all evidence suggests the plane went down in the southern Indian Ocean.”
The news was greeted with an outpouring of grief by the relatives of passengers, whose agonising wait to find out what happened is now apparently over.

Anyone know what the motives were?

I would love to know what went down between the two pilots.

There are a lot of credible people in the industry who feel that this is not the right story.

Usually when there's some sort of conspiracy/cover-up theory, it's a looney toon crowd who leads the charge. This time, however, it's leading industry experts putting their names and reputations on the line that this isn't the real story.

Interesting.
