Ok, this is gonna sound assholish. But these are her siblings...I am not grasping how they look alike especially the sister. The brother, maybe I could see that. Just makes me wonder, how does the daughter do this if she comes from a good family, but maybe she didn't have great examples at home.

After all this, I'm wondering how much of it was premeditated to get books and/or movie deals. That whacked-out "sorority letter" girl got a major book deal because of the letter and ensuing publicity.

This is convincing me more that having kids is a bad idea

From what we can see, the dad did pretty much everything right as a guy who wanted to create a respectable family. He made sure to marry a "nice girl" (article mentions that the mother is Indian which means she's probably pretty socially conservative not to mention a devout Catholic), got his children the best possible education, seems like the epitome of an upstanding citizen being that he is not only a doctor but a doctor serving the armed forces over-seas, and is being hailed as a great family man overall by other people in his life. From what the article says it looks like he would have done pretty much anything to make sure his kids are provided for so I seriously doubt that Belle Knox was driven to porn out of desperation.

But you can do everything right and still have something like this happen to you. How incredibly frustrating it must be to pour your soul and everything you can into making sure a certain result happens and then having the exact opposite happen. It's not like this girl was merely just disobedient or was acting up in the same way lots of young people do with their parents - she went in a direction where she is actively spitting on the values that her parents tried to instill her with.

This is only based on the information that has been revealed publiclly though. There might something darker going on behind the scenes that resulted in Belle Knox becoming who she is - remember all those deep cut scars on her body?

Yeah something about Catholic school seems to really warp people - especially girls.

My old college roommate and very good friend actually went to the same Catholic high school that the 18 year old chick who is suing her parents for financial support went to and from the stories he has told me it seems like a pretty wild place - way more craziness going on there than any of the public secular schools I've gone to. Oh and Brianna Frost the semi-famous camgirl model/reality show star is also an alumni of that particular institution.

My other college roommate went to law school and knew these two former Catholic school girls - both were promiscuous, regular drug users, and just plain uninhabited in behavior. One of them was a stripper too while in law school - also she's a hardcore Republican which made me lol. Apparently Belle Knox was a member of the Republican student organization on Duke as well. WTF

But you can do everything right and still have something like this happen to you. Disagree. Seems to me like a textbook case of what NOT to do:

1) Maintain frame/don't be a pussy. Maybe he looks like a vagina because of the Spokane weather, but he bears a strong resemblance to Stu.



2) Don't send your daughter to Catholic school. The stereotype exists for a reason. Catholic schools are slut factories. Yeah, she went to a Jesuit school. Don't know what those are like, but look what happened to her.

3) Don't be an absentee dad. Hey, I get that life's imperfect. But I would never have a family if I was always out of town or away for work.

4) Don't worship your daughter. "The kids are their pride and joy. The sisters are brilliant, articulate, wonderful girls. They were so proud that she was going to Duke University. I'm not sure we can blame the Dad. Who knows what corrupted the daughter. The Dad sounds like he worked overseas a lot. That means it was the mother who did the bulk of raising.

In my opinion, when you send your daughter to ANY school, public or private, you are essentially divorcing yourself from your child as the major force raising her. She will copy her peers far more than she copies you. And who knows what the peers are like?

I find it strange and almost disorienting that guys on a players' forum, including dudes that are obviously young and unmarried, are so naturally inclined to discuss this delicious slut and her amusing and raunchy antics from the point of view of a father raising a daughter.

Aren't we supposed to be "predators" or even (gulp) "sociopaths"? From the looks of this thread the accusations hurled at us by the manboobz crowd appear to be grotesquely unfair; all I see is a bunch of fine upstanding citizens with impeccable moral credentials gravely discussing the possible failings of the father, and what supposed darkness has compelled the deplorable Belle to become what she is.

Maybe we should do a little more to uphold our reputation as cads and rakehells and relish this Catholic school slut's superbly lanky 18 year old body, her shy sluttiness and her mind-destroying ass, holding off on the grave family-raising concerns for a bit.
