IMO German women flake less than American girls. Last year when I was in Germany I had a few girls flake but I attribute that to the growing presence of social media and the love of the smart phone which is everywhere. The girls that flaked really caught me by surprise because when I lived in Germany (around 5 yrs. ago) it almost never happened. Usually with German girls you know where you stand. That is what I found refreshing about my time there. There was less superficial bullshit coming from German girls than American girls.

I agree that Germany is not exactly a ONS paradise but I didn't find it that bad. When I approached I did much like Buddha does in his videos with a relaxed, respectful manner and subsequently pulled a number. A few meet ups later you can usually close the deal. Once German/Austrian girls open up to you it's a great experience. As a well dressed, fit, respectful, foreigner I did quite good there with quality women as did my friends. German/Austrian girls are not used to the cold approach by a personable guy and are instantly curious. Also, as stated earlier a lot of German girls are aware of Germany's cold image (in addition to it's history) and avoid being total bitches. The friends do cockblock but it isn't in the rude, disrespectful manner that American girls use.

As far as quality, I found women there in much better shape there than in the US (the exceptions being NYC, Dallas, LA, Miami, and San Diego of course). My positive attitude towards German women could be it was the first European country I lived in so I didn't have a good basis for comparison. Later after I went to Eastern Europe Germany was never quite the same.

Cowboy, you put it well together!

The young and >6 rated German girls are really sweet: Long hair, curvy bodies, no tattoos (though it is coming).

The looks: Within Europe they rank on 2, after the typical Scandinavian girl with pale skin and blond hair. (this is my taste). Most of our girls are pretty tall, if you like this okay. I prefer otherwise (max 170cm).

The attitude: they are good talkers and they are intelligent. They can be damned good and loyal friends too, which is awesome if you need a friend^^ They tend to be too serious sometimes (typical German), though, and to be not very female like the Russian or Asian women I have met.

Here comes the downside: it is very important to be integrated in a social circle. No matter what. This is what counts if you want a 8 or 9. I do it without a clique, because I simply hate this. Daygame still works for me. Currently I am more into Asian girls, fortunately.

Hi Zehlendorfer, it is good to hear about the topic from native citizens, especially from a nonanglosphere country.

I have always liked Germany but is it a pointless and difficult pursuit regarding quality fraulein trying for English men reputation wise in Germany. Do the English still have a bad reputation due to our football fans (long time ago now since we had a bad hooligan problem but the popular image seems to have remained in many European countries - and oddly is known of in the little Baltic nations), and of course because of the two you-know-what last century. It is embarrassing when German's here in Britain sometimes get cheap jokes about 10 bombers in the air etc from drunks or old people, yet most Germans seem tolerant or even welcoming of Brits when we visit Germany (at least to our faces). I haven't even started on the disproportionate amount of London Hipsters in Berlin , so if I was German I might see things differently, or maybe it is the English specifically and not Brits that are disliked?

This may affect our chances at game, wondered whether it is worth giving a shot or does that image of loutish sunburnt inselaffen still remain?

I never thought of this actually.
However, I noticed that they mostly prefer the beta guys when it comes to foreigners. Or you should just be good looking (this never hurts) or look typical "british". This is what they would like, I guess. I think that our past history is not in their mind, when you are a decent guy.

As always, it depends on the city and your approach.

hmmm.., I have to say that it is hard work and a huge portion of luck as usual:
In Munich I had 4 swedish guys, with whom I went to the clubs. All tall, blond and built like Michael Phelps. I was really worried that they would steal my show. But they had no game at all, just drinking and trouble with the German girls. On the other hand I had a Spanish friend who had tons of ONS here. He looked very Spanish/South American. Cool guy. I guess the girls just loved the smell of an adventure. His girls were not the best though (rating 5-6).

Where have you been and what was your experience?

If you don't actually look like a football hooligan or act like one, you should have to deal with negative stereotypes.

General rules:

- German not required

- looking arabic/indian/african... is usually a disadvantage (going with locals and/or looking upper class helps here)

- going with an attractive girl is not necessary however it almost guarantees entry

- (big) male groups no-go

- going alone is uncommon however shouldn't be a problem with the right style and vibe

- being polite, confident and not drunk is important

- going early is an advantage, especially when without female company, however it is no guarantee to get in

- suiting up is not too common, however obviously you should dress nicely, jeans + blazer or nice shirt should be fine

- stricter door policies in the big cities

- as far as I know slipping cash to get in is uncommon

- asking for entrance prices or trying to negotiate at the door reduces your chances to get in significantly (once inside how much you actually spend is not so important...)

- getting declined can just be bad luck sometimes, never argue with the bouncer, stay positive and polite and try another venue

Just a funny revelation I had here in Poland:

On a date I had with a German girl here in Sopot, she basically said German girls are ugly.

On an instant date I had with a Ukrainian girl in Kiev, she also said German girls are ugly.

In a daygame set I had with a Polish girl here in Gdansk, she also said German girls are ugly.

It can often seem harsh with views of Deutschland girls on this forum.
While the overall quality is higher in Poland and the East, the 8+ German fraulein are up with the world's most beautiful in both face and body. German and Nordic women have the potential for smooth skin, tall athletic figures and can grow very thick long flowing hair. Unfortunately there seems to be far bigger issues with German women on a societal level meaning these things are wasted. They seemed happier, better looking and statistics support something I noticed in terms of where are all the young people; overall average age was noticeably younger 20 years ago, 30 years ago when I first visited and West Germany really was another nation in every sense.

German girls travelling are more laid back like any other woman.

My favorite thing to say about German girls is that they are very polite, somewhat stern, and most importantly missing about 1/4 of their soul. It is like they aren't real people. Some Scandanavians it is more like half their soul got removed at birth. They aren't real people either.

There is some papermache and metal gears in there somewhere. There is an eery amount of lacking conversational flexibility and warmth. So much is towards a point and not about the present moment in their demeanor.

There is less drama, less nonsense from German girls. Also they support you quite well in a relationship.
But yes, they are less feminine, not so charming. If you think about german girls, think about the past. If some old Romans killed some Germanic men, the battle wasn't over. Then they hear the screams of the women that start to attack the German soldiers.
So if you want a feminine, soft spoken women. Not in Germany. If you want an independent, more logical but loyal women then you can find it in Germany.
I have friends that are happy together for more then 10 years with the same girl. But they often meet each other kind of young.

They are hard to open, social circle game. It count for Germans in general, its hard to make new friends in some way. Approaching culture don't exist. ONS are not common, sex outside a relationship is not so big.

That german man have no game? Well I would say because of the not approaching culture and the behaviour of women, German men just get tired of it. But true, normal you go out with your friends. Not to approach. And if so, the guy is mostly drunk as hell. So is for sure possible. I like to approach on festival, those girls are mostly in a good mood. In a club? Its mostly a miss. Mostly the girls give a shitty reaction. Not direct insulting but also not friendly.
For me it feels, like they get offended when you approach them. That they have an image in their mind, who, when and how you have to talk to them. If you don't match that, you are out. Also they can't flirt nor charm up. So either she is into you or not. Most girls have a negative attitude in that way.

To be honest, I was thinking many years something is wrong with me. Reading pick up books and tried to improve. Lucky me, I went abroad. Other European countries, south america, asia. And girls there like me. All the stuff I do works. So I can say, its not my lack of game, it just that I don't seem to fit into Germany when it comes to girls. So all the stuff I do, all of my way how I'm is accepted very positive abroad, but seen kind of - I don't know in Germany.
And after discover feminine women, that treat you nice I don't want to go back to German girls. I still consider them as attractive but I did not really find a way to open them. You can get laid, you can get girls of course. But you need a high frustration tolerance. So I have to thank them, because it make me grateful for all the other girls I made abroad.

The confusion in this thread is that German girls ignore on purpose or dont care about you because they want to. There is no coincidence that Germans (also applies to other germanic peoples) are the most well structured societies in the world, and even the people themselves live ridiculously structured lives on a daily basis. Even on holidays germans are like that, they only allow themselves to relax a little more than back home but they still won't break the limit of losing the self-control. Germans (and the other named previously) don't value that much spontaniety or sticking out from the group (typical germanic trait).

In resume, german women ignore you because they are too practic to care about you, not because they do it with intention to annoy you or because they hate men (unlike american women and other women from anglosphere).

Germany, The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway , Sweden, Finland. I dont know much about Austrians but they should be similar aswell. I havent interacted much with icelanders to state an opinion about them either. Typical germanic view of the world is structured and always in control.. you hardly will see a german going nuts in the way americans , aussies (or even brits) usually do.. It translates also how german women are much more into LTR and far less likely to do ONS than Aussie or American females. People in those countries are WAY too serious, good for somethings bad for the other.

Glad you posted this. Went to Matrix night club here in Berlin recently and was getting blown out the water. I thought my game had somehow dropped 5 points during the plane ride. Not one dude approached the entire night except myself.

Would you also say this behavior of german women applies at places like starbucks/Grocery stores also?

The issue with Germans in general is, they can't relax. They think to much, plan to much and want to get everything perfect. This may lead to a high quality economy but lacks flexibility.

German women want to have everything perfect, this meaning planing the career, planing the perfect circumstances for having kids an more they have a high requirement list what a man has to bring in. They can't flirt, they are not open to fun and are a way to serious. On the other side, if you catch one, its LTR and not a lot of drama.
With all the career thing, many also focus more on their job then having a relationship. As mention before, approaches at the street or in clubs are not common. Social game rules. If some girl in the club is into you, their girlfriends cockblock.

Indirect game wins, be exotic - but from the right country - helps but some are just not into this, others are. My best success I have at festival. The local beer festival bring out the girls that don't do clubbing regular, the atmosphere is relaxing and most of them are a little bit tipsy. Clubs, well sometimes and I never did a public approach.
For online game, either the girls there are ugy, fat or have mental issues. Beside a lot of fakes in the apps. And most strange, if I had a match and she was real, the girls always say something like, I want to know you first. My response is, lets drink some coffee and see in real, most reject. They are at least not up to meet with me lol

I didn't want to create a thread about this post but since this thread is active and relates to my post -- I thought it is best to ask it here.

I'm heading to Germany and Poland next month for about a 3 week trip.
I'm a college student and I'll be in Berlin for about a week and Hamburg for 2 days but I am not sure wether to go to Poznan, Poland during Christmas week or during new years.

*Which is best for SNL/dating/gaming/party scene during Christmas?
Hamburg, Berlin in Germany or Poznan, Poland?

Note: I'll only be in Poznan when I'm in Poland very close to the universities.
I "heard" Polish students get 2 week vacation in Christmas as they are likely to go to their homes on christmas vacation, so student-strict areas might seem a little empty at the time. (Poznan is a college town)

My default plan is to go to Poznan, Poland during Christmas week Dec 23th-28th and spend New Years in Berlin or Hamburg. But would it be best to spend Christmas in Berlin, Hamburg and then New Years weekend in Poland?

It's my first time going, I will write an article here of my stays, daygaming scene, flags, and SNLs (if they happen you will know).

Heres my 2 cents:

It is true there really isnt so much of a hookup culture here. Once you are dating someone you arent expected to date other people. I once had a German girl that wouldnt have sex with me until I committed to a relationship. I would say that once you have a relationship with them they are pretty loyal and dependable.

Lots of guys are downing the looks which is not true. I would say at least here in Cologne you will find alot of thin girls.. I would say I saw fatter girls in the US. As for high quality you HAVE to know where to look. in Cologne for example there are 2 or 3 "high-end" clubs where guys will do bottle service and whatnot and there you will find the pretty girls in tight skirts with high heels... In the standard clubs you COULD have trouble finding the quality you are looking for.... I don't really see hot girls walking around the streets like that.. Maybe you go shopping in ZARA/Berksha or on the high end streets... I don't think the AVERAGE german girl is that pretty no. Maybe thats why you day game guys have trouble finding quality.

I havent gamed elsewhere in Europe yet since i was in a relationship for quite a while but now im back and will be reporting my travels... but Cologne, Germany I know like the back of my hand.

This is false. They ignore you for the same reason American females would ignore you. This has nothing to do with the specifics of German culture but with modern feminism. The only girls who will smile or engage are the ones who are overweight and have no other options.
