What's absolutely hilarious about that story is that the tranny in question was a pain to get to deal with and to get to your apartment. So, 5 weeks have passed and I've reevaluated my idea to saddle down in Japan. The idea was initially sparked through my exchange semester in 2014. Now, I came to the conclusion that this was a wrong choice and I'm going back to Europe for a while.

My reasons can be divided into 2 parts.

Japan is changing:
I know, 3 years aren't that much, but I fell there is quite a difference between then and now. However, 3 more years of instagram, globalization and massive influx of tourists changed how I'm perceived by the locals. I feel much less welcome. At times it feels a bit like a Syrian Refugee Simulator. Don't know what happened, but people are far less interested or even willing to speak with me.

What is more, Japan is classified by the Hofstede cultural dimensions as one of the most masculine cultures. Sadly, all the cool things associated to masculinity that I felt the first time, are about to fade away. Honor, respect, humbleness. Yes, there are still some older dudes who hold those values up, but sadly they are dying. The younger ones ditched those values for Moet Champaign and LV bags. Maybe, it was like this already in 2014, but now I see it crystal clear.


I changed:
To be honest, I miss the exciting life in Latin America. So yeah, my preference just changed and I realize this change while I'm here.


I'm going to leave just after Halloween. By then I will post a detailed data sheet about Fukuoka city.

Another thing: I've an as-good-as new bicycle to give away for free. PM me.

My Japanese is beginner to lower intermediate level. I even managed to pick up a Japanese girl from Kumamoto with Japanese only. However, yes, I feel kind of unpopular. I would do much better in my home country (Germany) or of course in Latin America.

ive been here for a few days now and the food is absolutely mindblowing, the metro is amazing, the lifestyle (day-time) is great but the nightlife is absolute shit.

I am going to do a full write up when i finish up but my belief is that the main thing holding back tokyo is the low salaries for young people and relatively high prices for nightlife.

Most young japanese make a salary of 1-1.5k yen/hour and drinks are about that. So just going out for a night is prohibitively expensive. its also why you see so many young people eating out and just milling at starbucks.

Still havent been to a club but ive walked around the areas at most spots are just empty in roppongi. not sure if the action has moved or if the weather (typhoon that just passed) made a difference...

Roppongi was crazy the other night I was there. I see more hot girls going into Karaoke bars with guys they know than hitting up clubs. I agree with everything else you said.

I wouldn’t touch on the positives of living in Japan as they are pretty self evident, the negatives? I’ll just share abit of my experience. I spent a year living in Japan and my mum is Japanese so I grew up with the culture and language:

1. Work. As someone mentioned, working in Japan comes with a myriad of crazy hours and social retarding “gatherings” that are compulsory to work place promotions and to maintain the “kankei” (relationships) with your co-workers. Recently a Japanese young graduate committed suicide after she clocked an insane number of hours. Not the best place in the world to wear a tie and a suit.

2. Expensive. Even if you attempt to live as a digital normad, prices in Japan, particularly Tokyo, are not conducive for long term stay. You could reduce your expenses by cutting costs here and there or living further out in the countryside but without a proper job, you wouldn’t get all the transportion benefits so all your travelling expenses would probably add up to the price of an apartment in the city centre. Furthermore, to be honest, it’s a real mood killer to be in Tokyo having to scrimp and save, I’ve been through it and it took me months to push my expenses low but those were my circumstances.

3. The women aren’t the best if you’re looking for LTR. Japanese people, both men and women, are notorious cheaters. I mean, Japan is one of the country where cheating is only considered cheating when there are emotions involved. Most Japanese women turn the blind eye even if they find out their husbands engage in P2P. The women are also prone to cheating, I’ve banged a Japanese housewife before and she had no qualms about getting down once we were alone in the room.


Apart from that, I will be spending the next 4 years in Japan starting next year so I do enjoy staying and living in Japan but no country is perfect and these are just some of the problems I spot spending time in Japan.

During my 6 weeks stay in Fukuoka, I developed a new strategy for day game, which I want to share with you. The whole game requires just the knowledge of exactly one sentence in Japanese.

What was my situation?
I had beginner to lower intermediate Japanese language skill, which simply wasn't really enough to pick up girls consistently. So basically I did 1on1 approaches in English with some Japanese lines here and there.

The 1on1 English approaches have a lot of problems:
1. A single girl usually puts on some defence when approached by a stranger guy
2. Her English probably isn't conversational
3. She might be in a hurry
4. Even if you get her line, you have to justify why she should see you again




That's why I invented the Let's have group sex - game.

The "Let's have group sex - game" focuses on groups of girls and is designed for street game. So let me explain.


1. Instead of doing 1on1 approaches, one approaches a group of girls. This has several advantages. First, the girls feel secure & protected within the group. Second, the combined knowledge of the group's English might be enough to have a conversation. Lastly, the group probably enjoys some spare time and isn't in a rush.

2. Have some basic conversation to demonstrate you are a normal, fun guy to talk to. Keep it basic, where are you from etc. If possible open with something enthusiastic / funny.

3. After 5-10min of conversation, ask all girls for their Line IDs. Very important step. Because you are asking all girls do give you their Line ID, almost all girls are willing to hand it out and there isn't a lot of awkwardness.

However, some girls might be interested, but obviously can't reveal this without being branded as a slut.

6. Say goodbye in a normal and joyful way. If possible make a picture with the girls from their smartphones, so they remember you.

7. Wait 2-3 hours and mass text the girls on Line. A simple ;-) emoji should do the trick. The beauty is, that girls who responded to this know exactly what they are up for. It's for sure not going to be language exchange. Furthermore, you don't need to justify again why they should reply to you. Again, you are the exciting guy, who offered got damn group sex.

Invented this game 3 days ago and am right now at the airport back to Europe.

So, the results I can confirm are limited to promising text leads. Almost all girls told me they want to meet again. When I asked if they ever have kissed a foreigner the replies were "No, but I'm curious".

All in all, it isn't a battle-proofed game strategy yet. Maybe someone wants to try it out on the ground and report back?

I also totally agree that intonation, Mimic & gestic are very important.

With the right vibe and body language I think you can pull this off. If for no other reason than you're approaching en masse and you're bound to hook a few girls who are into gaijin, DTF and resistant to group anti-slut pressures (or discreet enough to not have to deal with them).

But in my experience you'd get more bang for the buck by approaching girls who are alone as you can offer them plausible deniability, circumvent the hive mind resistance, and subject yourself to fewer critical voices who are looking to disqualify you based on the stupidest little thing.

I hate to be the wet blanket but promising text leads don’t mean much in Japan. I’ve had girls that were super fast in their replies, was very touchy and into me during the pickup and the interaction went extremely well that I was sure that I would get the lay once we had the first date. Once we parted ways, radio silence.

On the other hand, I’ve had girls who didn’t smile as much and showed passive body lanaguge when I approached her, had lukewarm text replies yet I got the lay 2 hours into the first date. J girls are one of the hardest girls to read and even the most seasoned J vet may find themselves on the receiving end of a bizarre interaction, either positive or otherwise.

That changed while she as out wandering around in Golden Gai [in Tokyo’s Shinjuku Ward] after a night of drinking. “I got hit on by this handsome Swiss guy who said he was a cop,” Kurosu remembered. “We started getting involved from that day on — and that’s what opened me up to this world.”

Prostitutes frequented Golden Gai until they were banned from the area after the Anti-Prostitution Law took effect in 1958. Boasting a teeming nightlife with hundreds of tiny bars and eateries, the seedy area emerged as a tourist hot spot in 2009 after earning two stars in the “Michelin Green Guide Japan.” Golden Gai continues to attract tourists eager to soak up the retro vibes found in its dense, sprawling alleyways.

“Foreigners don’t like [cover] charges, so I go alone to places that claim to have no charges. Then, when one of them tries to snap a picture, I’d close the distance by being like hey, ‘Take a picture?’” Kurosu said. “I can barely speak English, but for now, I’m pretty much in a ‘win every battle’ sort of situation. It probably goes without saying, but the lifestyles being led by Nakamura and Kurosu are hardly worthy of praise. Still, these high-income wives apparently have no intentions of breaking up their families, reasoning that if they were going to play with fire, there’s less risk going with foreign men who have come from afar.

I was in Japan a couple weeks in 2013. My Japanese is near zero. I used an online translator and Ashley Madison. Met maybe 3 women only closed 1. She was late 30's maybe 20lbs overweight and her husband wouldn't touch her because of it. I would put her down as a 5, but had a decent face. Very good in the bedroom.

If I ever go back to Japan for any extended period of time... I would plan to go after older married women first. The rest of the world women in that category look like shit, but not East Asia.

There are some foreign dudes in Japan (as well as many Japanese guys, of course) who specialize in banging housewives.
