Hes got a lot of rep and some senior members on here have met him and say they will vouch for him........

I don't recall much about his post expect for talking about looking away from the camera in profile pics for dating sites and his latest eye lash thing.... I wasn't sure about the eye lashes thing but I liked his post cause I felt bad everyone was calling him out ha.

Reading his rep tho it seems he brings some good to the forums with information on Thailand. Some other long time members mention changing emails with him and Rio said he has met him a few times.

He may have posted on that forum to promote his books via negative publicity. He is an internet marketer after all, but who knows. I would give him the benefit of the doubt since he was vouched for by some highly respected members.

Who in Thailand has met him, anyone? Seems like we always have several RVF agents there. I'm not really sure I see the egregious bad acting on VV's part. Has he dropped no good intel or posts at all? I guess I'm not super concerned about the marketing aspect per se. Guys want to make money, nothing wrong with that. We should be big boys who can evaluate a product and decide whether to purchase or not. As long as it's not *purely* marketing or in your face, why is it bad? Hell, I didn't even realize he was selling anything until that whole Huffpo thing blew up, so maybe his marketing sucks?

Menace, the issue is not mainly self-promotion -- at least I don't have too much of a problem with that. The issue is all the posts he seems to have on PUAHate badmouthing Roosh and other forum members.

I agree that VV probably posted there for promotional purposes as well and is basically looking out for himself, but I think working both sides in this way crosses a line.

Ultimately, he is entitled to his opinions and while his participation here may be completely self-serving, provided he is not being a dick on this forum, I don't see the harm in allow him to continue to contribute.

Roosh himself has stated previously that members are welcome to say what they want on Twitter as long as they don't troll here or start cat fights.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of PUA self-promoters, but should we reward him with continued membership if he hasn't broken any actual forum rules?

Most self-promoters can't seem to pull that off--I'd say give credit where credit is due.

Tuthmosis warned me about Vincent in the past and I proceeded with a wait-and-see attitude. In hindsight this was a mistake because of damage he could have done down the line. I take responsibility for not acting more quickly, but honestly it wasn't until he posted about curling eyelashes to attract women that I finally realized he was trolling us.

I do feel a sense of personal regret for helping him against Huffington Post. Though he's not my friend, I watch out for those who are on my team. If any of you are attacked tomorrow by Jezebel, you can count on me for help. The fact that we all defended him when he was attacked, while his PUA Hate friends don't even have his back in spite of the fact that he's accumulated 6000 posts there, speaks volumes about the differences between these communities. It's no surprise that his hate of us stopped after he became a more active member here. RVF's love overcame PUA Hate's hate, and he wanted to set himself straight.

Unfortunately, he could not tame his trolling addiction, hence the eyelash troll thread he started today. I'm more betrayed that he would start such a garbage thread after I defended him on ROK than because he hated on me months ago on PUA Hate. I consider RVF an extension of my home, so I don't appreciate it when you shit on my rug.

I'd caution people to blow this out of proportion. He has done no real-life damage, and I'm sure he has brought some value to the guys here that he met in Thailand. With a community this large, we're bound to have bad seeds. In fact, I promise something like this will happen again (the only way to prevent it is to never meet anyone). The best thing you can do is not to put yourself in the position when someone has more information about you than you have about them.

There is also discussion about self-promotion. I understand this is a growing concern. I will draft some guidelines about that soon.

I am a little confused to be honest. I do not have an account on puahate.com, but on the surface, it looks like they hate puas like Meehow and RSD, which we hate on pretty heavily on this board...

Maybe I am getting the hater boards mixed up, but if he was running an account on manboobz and on here simultaneously, then that would be a problem.

I don't question that vincent gets laid in South East Asia. I don't think it requires game to get laid in south east asia if you are an average looking white guy. My point is getting a lot of notches in SEA as a white guy doesn't necessarily mean you have good game. Basically, reminds me of xsplat. I won't really question that what they are doing as white men in SEA works to get laid, but I do question how useful their books/advice are for guys looking to get laid in the rest of the world

Guys come here to get help. Other already have it figured out but stick around to help their fellow man. But then there are some that come with hate in their hearts and was just borne that way. They don't want improvement, and are eaten away with jealousy by others that work hard to move up in life. Those haters remain and do everything possible to bring others down. VV, Minter, Dash, Deb, are a few of those males.

"Never to meet anyone?" I can see the security behind it, but I look forward to meeting as many people as I can! Our side of the internet has changed my life and countless others for the better, and probably stay that way till I die. Meeting members is fun, you get a better sense of who they are, and you can appreciate their writing more. So far I've only met 4 guys on the forum and all of them were solid. I guess my way of thanking them is meeting up shooting the shit, and buying drinks.

As far as VV, I'd say bring the hammer down!

I would be curious what VV has to say, but there is a lot of evidence stacked against him, doesn't look good. But he did have a lot of quality information it seems. So he has been a valuable resource.

Some people have mentioned that maybe it makes us look bad for having supported him. But I think there is actually something respectable about this thread. Hear me out.

This situation shows how legitimate and serious a forum this is (not that there are not tons of quality posts and articles that prove my statement - there are). I am talking about the steady monitoring, calling out bull shit, etc. Willing to help each other, but having standards.

In this thread, I haven't seen an pitchfork pics yet or any extreme nonsense, people who are posting are demonstrating some maturity about the matter. These are the some of the qualities I admire about the forum, when it is needed it is there.

Sure some feminazis could point to this as a moment to laugh at us, but Tuth caught it before it became a big thing. Show me a feminist forum that has this kind of integrity. That cares about the image it presents, that realizes the responsibility it has to maintain credibility in order to ensure that its beliefs are respected.

Maybe my words don't flow as beautifully as some who post on this board, but my take is that this instance shows some of the qualities of the forum. I appreciate that we take care of our own, but won't suffer disloyalty. We are men not women who sell out their own regularly for their own selfish needs.

It would be wise not to piss in your own pool. I never understood why people do that.

Though an occasional troll/meltdown does give a good laugh.

I am very disappointed at the deceptive actions by VV.

I have not met the guy, but he has always been supportive of Swoop and THC has met him and had good things to say.

I remarked earlier today that "Vinturi has lost his shit" when I read that eyelash thread he started.

I will say that as a tool to get more traffic I had considered opening an account at PUAhate myself but then later decided it was too much of a hassle, but I can see why vinturi might go that route. Honestly who gives a shit what's being said to those clowns?

This really isn't a big deal in terms of what it means for our community: we have a guy here that's been flirting with the enemy and trying to sell his brand.

He's been trolling and that's bannable, but the other stuff is more just the type of thing that isn't needed.

Also, I will always come to the aid of any manosphere person that has been good to swoop and this community. I would be willing to help again if it meant fighting off feminism. "An enemy of my enemy is my friend" as they say.

I am very disappointed, not because I think there is anything outright wrong with his tactics, just that it is in conflict with my opinion that men should be up front with each other.

Is it really a troll thread? I mean, it seems stupid to me, but if his other advice is good, then maybe it works? Your forum, your rules, of course, and most of the people discussing this have logged far, far more time here than I have, but I'd be hesitant to ban a guy who's been a decent contributor by everybody's accounts.

If the purpose of this thread is for the forum to make a decision, it is my opinion that Vincent should be given a chance to respond to the charges against him before the forum passes final judgment. Having said that, it is Roosh's forum to do with as he pleases.

I would very much like to read Vincent's response. I say give him a deadline to post his response in this thread. If he fails to meet the deadline Roosh gives him, ban him. If he posts a response, let Tuth post a reply and then make a decision.
