I was thinking this earlier. This dimitri guy could have been following VV before he ever got here. VV has been all over the internet for awhile now in various ways and doesn't exactly hide his tracks. This could explain why he picked someone from the forum with a low post count.

As BB pointed out, people tend to repost things they've seen, often to get some sort of internet pat on the back. This Dimitri guy, if he isn't VV, is just some jackass that realized VV consistently finds "repost worthy" material to help him look cool.

I think it could be that simple.

As far as similar posting titles, why would he change them? Dimitri decided that VV said it better than he could, probably even started trying to post his future posts in the same way because he'd decided he also like the way that was done.

I'm probably a bit late to the party but I can vouch for Vincent. I only know him a little but I can't see him having the time, motivation or care for trolling.

Vincent is one of the few members that uses a picture of himself as his avatar. In fact I can't even think of another member that use of picture of themselves.

To me that makes him a target.

If VV didn't use a picture of himself... my bet is that this would have happened to someone else on the forum.

And finally... VV I hope this doesn't stop you from posting great content on the forum. You are one of my favourite members on the board.

After doing a little more research I'm now 95% convinced that a mistake has been made and Dimitri is not VV.

As Soma noted, Dimitri's English seems non-native, and in fact it strikes me that he might be Asian (despite claiming on the board to be Dutch, although I guess he only claims some connection to the Dutch marines).

And today doing a little more googling I found the following forum member named "ribozon" on a Vietnamese language tech forum:

What is interesting about this is that ribozon has exactly the same girl avatar as Dimitri's PUAHate avatar (you can click on the link to see it). And his join date on this forum is 2009, which the same year that Dimitri joined PUAHate. So it seems to me far more likely that Dimitri and ribozon are the same Asian male, and a completely different person from VV.

This in addition to very persistent differences in style, content and persona between Dimitri and VV -- differences that would require a near-psychotic level of sustained impersonation that is extremely hard to believe.

I just talked to Vincent on skype. I think he's the real deal and no troll.

I'll vouch for him.

Ive talked to VV before on PM and hes provided some quality info on living costs in Thailand and taken the time to answer my questions.
This whole thing seems to be a big misunderstanding.

Didn't get all the way to the end but just want to add that the eye lashes thing is legit. I haven't curled mine but I do have naturally nice/long eyelashes and get compliments on them from girls and they make me more attractive. Based on Vincent's thread I'm going to add checking for clumped eye lashes to my mental checklist when I'm looking at my face.

I think a lot of the anecdotal evidence points to VV being vindicated.

If Tuth speaks to VV, I wonder if his suspended sentence will be lifted?

I think that the fact that VV is a respected contributing member of the forum should mean that we give him the benefit of the doubt and consider him vindicated, should no further evidence surface.

Even if he was Dimitri, how do we know that he wasn't trolling PUA-Hate?

What I can't get over is the two different writing styles. It just doesn't fit.

Once again, it's Roosh's forum and if he trusts Tuth's judgment that's his right.

But it would be nice to get to the bottom of this.

Guys, I think we've all made our thoughts on this clear one way or another. Let's also not forget that Tuth is a sharp dude and has access to all the info that's been posted on this thread in addition to other things.

Maybe time for us to let it go for now and let the mods evaluate the best way to proceed.

Yeah the one thing I think we all need to remember is that Tuth is literally like a sentinel on watch in the tower. If he has suspicious or concerns I think he has to follow up and deal with them even if they are just barely showing up on the radar screen. Otherwise we're all screwed.

It's not blind faith but just realizing that he's on this forum every day, day in and day out monitoring and when he sees something odd he [email protected] well needs to take it seriously and follow up/investigate so as to protect us all from the people that are out to get us (which is probably a small but dedicated number of haters). In reading puahate and Czar's posts it's pretty scary how illogical/indocrinated some of these feel-good fascist haters are and the lengths they go to in order to damage us.
