I just ranted the other day about this to my business partners. Some that get on my nerves:
- Shaved arms
- Skinny jeans / rolled jeans
- Weak handshakes
- no eye contact when shaking hands
- weak / feminine voices
- guys wearing uggs (seen this at the gym the other day, wtf?)
- the whole there's no loser in kid's sports nowadays, that's just retarded. How are you supposed to learn how to compete? how to become good at something? how to dominate? how to be a leader? how to be a good team mate? This one really baffles me.

There's more but i'm getting mad just writing this.

I lucked out as my dad, his brothers and my grandfather were raised in a farm. Hard working men. My dad has always been very stoic, masculine, with a strong frame and always told me shit like it is. Never sugarcoated anything. I picked up on his attitude and the way he does/says things since I was very young.

I almost lose my shit in some of my lectures. Every guy looks weak. They lack any kind of pride or self-respect, and all they do is complain about how hard it is to live in America while they walk around unshaven and slouched. The entitlement mentality kills me.

I can't remember the last time I got a weak handshake from an old man. Up until he died my grandpa had an iron handshake, but he went through two wars and was a golden glove boxer. Anytime I met any of his buddies it was like shaking hands with a vice.

Our grandparents' generation went through a great depression that lasted years, several wars, a presidents assassination, and they still managed to create families and, for the most part, keep their shit together.

Despite a weak job market, today's generation more or less has it all laid out in front of them with zero struggle and they can barely pay their electric bill.

The only time I can recall getting a solid handshake in recent memory is the security guards at the hotel, and meeting girls. Yes, girls are now giving better handshakes than guys their own age.

Bicycle riders shave their arms all the time.
As do a lot of athletes.

I can't stand men that wear neon to the gym. You all look gay. Every last one of you. I refuse to buy anything neon and I don't care if it means that some 19yo chick doesn't think I'm cool because of it. Only flamers should wear neon, not 30+ men at the gym. I'd give the exception for a JACKED NFL player or elite track sprinter. Those guys should be able to wear whatever they want. Men who work corporate jobs should not dress like their 12 year old son, trying to emulate their favorite sports hero.

Also, Lululemon shit is for women. Men need to find something else. I don't see how a guy can walk into that store and buy $105 shorts. I realize that it's probably the best shit out there, but it's for chicks and lululemon gear makes you look like a homo.

There's this girl on my Facebook that posts a self picture of herself once a week. She's not the best looking, but I would say she is more cute than the average girl, and has a more feminine vibe about her as well. Regardless, she always gets dozens of likes on her pictures.

One of our few mutual friends, this very average guy, always likes every single one of her pictures. And I shake my head knowing their short history together if you may.

I used to run into her on campus quite a bit and we'd have conversations about our same majors, and also get into some surprising topics as well. She is russian and I'd tell her how I like russian girls in general because they are thin and feminine unlike most north american girls. She'd agree and complain how the guys around here aren't masculine enough, aren't proud to be guys, come off effeminate often, etc. She told me how she was seeing this guy she really liked at first for a couple months, but he never really made a move. She ended up concluding he is probably gay because of it, to add to his somewhat metrosexual vibe.

This guy I actually met through a good friend of mine so I've hung out with him in the past. I remember him telling me he was seeing this cute russian girl and things were going great, they were doing dinner dates, walks, bike rides, etc. He was posting pictures on Facebook of them out together, cute. I asked him if they were dating, he said not really just seeing how things go. I asked him how far he's got with her, in an non intrusive manner because I figured they weren't banging yet, especially because I get a very traditional/relationship vibe from the russian girl. He tells me after 2 months hanging out he hasn't kissed her yet because he wants to take it slow and not ruin things. He told me he had another movie date with her later that week and was going to make a move then.

Well it's a couple months after that, I run into the russian girl on a night out, she's happy to see me and complains about not finding cool guys for a relationship because they are not masculine enough or maybe gay. And every time I see her new Facebook picture this guy is always the first like at the top among her first few dozen.

The day after valentine's day I overhear a conversation at my work about what everyone did the past night. A coworker of mine, young as well, a year older than me talks about how he spent the night with his ex, saying they weren't ever really on bad terms, just not together anymore. The fact he took he out to a $50 dinner, bowling, and drinks after with another mutual couple of theirs suggests he was desperate for sex again with a girl who is his only option, meanwhile he was her last but doesn't mind the dinner date and warm attention she is getting on a day she'd be lonely otherwise. He mentioned he spent just over $100 for the night.

Another guy asked him, 'did you at least bang her again at the end of the night?'

'yeah man, we fucked 3 times! I'm super sore right now..'

Let me get this right. You spent over $100 on a girl that you've banged in the past already and broken up with you just to bang her again that night, because it's been a while for you and vday was a great opportunity? You've also spent an entire night of your time, several hours that could have much better been used elsewhere?
