Coca Cola Superbowl Ad Causing Controversy
Someone shared this on my facebook. I don't know if it really is or the site is making it seem that way. Still pretty funny to see names and faces of people who could get fired from writing these stupid tweets.

RE: Coca Cola Superbowl Ad Causing Controversy
This feels like such a painfully forced controversy. I don't know that many racists but none that I know of really seem to care that much. A few progressives posted about it in my Facebook feed but their attitude was "gosh how could anyone hate this ad?" and 30 seconds later were posting cute kittens.

And most of those tweets on the tumblr weren't racist they were xenophobic.

RE: Coca Cola Superbowl Ad Causing Controversy
I for one did not have a problem with the ad.

It is laughable though, to see these Muricans get upset about nothing.

Just goes to show the sad state of this country. Average Joe don't want no foreigners in his damn football game, but being spied on and having YOUR liberties taken away is a ok with Joe.

Schmucks.

Fun Fact: It is the 1st commercial that displays a LGBT couple.

Now where is the outrage on that from Joe??
Could've swore it's round here somewhere....

RE: Coca Cola Superbowl Ad Causing Controversy
The fact that more people don't find this ad offensive shows you how effective decades of pro-multiculturalism propaganda have been in this country. God forbid natural-born American citizens prefer to hear a beloved patriotic song (practically an alternative national anthem) being sung in English rather than a hodge podge of foreign tongues. God forbid people want to enjoy traditional American culture in a country called America. God forbid you oppose the flood of immigration that has completely changed the face of the country socially, economically and politically over the past several decades. These days America is just a cool place where everyone in the world can come hang out and make money, and if you have a problem with that, you're a racist, xenophobic cocksucker and will be publicly shamed by the PC police and hopefully fired from your job.

Try to imagine a patriotic Russian or Chinese song being sung in foreign languages in those countries, with the underlying message being, "Your country's culture is being eroded and your traditional ethnic populations are being slowly displaced and outbred by third world immigrants." Yeah, that would go over like a lead balloon. But for some reason Americans are expected to be self-loathing and not take pride in the preservation of their culture.

I agree that the controversy is forced, people raging for an add is moronic. But i also agree that the "multiculturalism" is bad for a country. Yeah, sure, speak in whatever lenguage you want, but for a nation to be a nation, you need ONE national lenguage. I am wrong, or the USA actually did not have an official national lenguage.

RE: Coca Cola Superbowl Ad Causing Controversy
Brilliant marketing.

They are trying to break into liberal enclaves -- the South is already in Coke's demo -- and what better way then than convince liberals to drink Coke than making them feel superior to those "ignorant" "racists" from those places where they don't live. Liberals fell hook, line and sinker for this ploy.

As far as it being racist that a nation have a commonly shared language, all I can do is laugh. One of the most mind obvious requirements for a stable civilization is a common language. It is so rudimentary. The fact we have discussions about this is telling.

All this has done is basically highlight who are the dumb people in the world (hint: they're on both sides of the argument). Coke was just trolling for the reaction they got. I would have loved to have seen that meeting. There's no way they didn't plan it to go like this, much like JC Penny's "Two dad's ad" or the cheerios "Interracial marriage and child" commercial.

"Hey, why don't we create a viral ad that will basically piss off the majority of white america but at the same time appeal to those with white guilt at the same time!"

The future of advertising folks. Suck up to one demographic so they can argue with another demographic about how bad they are for not "getting" the message.

It is kind of funny that people were outraged by this commercial. In a country that is only 63.7% non-Hispanic white there are going to be minorities...lots of them.

Edit: Also agree with Drazen, this ad was meant to go viral. Mission accomplished.

I got halfway through the commercial, and said, I don't like this commercial. My friends with me agreed. We yelled America and took a drink of beer.

None of us bitched about it on twitter/fb/etc. Why? Because I don't hang out with people that would care that much over something so trivial. Hell, I dont think theres more than maybe one or two people that I hang out with that even post shit on twitter/fb anyways. Not to mention it was pretty obvious that was the intention of the commercial.

Regardless, the national anthem should be sung in english American. American

I haven't drank coke in years and no commercial is going to change that.

I LOL'd at Tuth's second post. Too funny.

Anyone who found the ad remotely offensive, their problems don't end there I'm sure.

Thomas Jefferson spoke six languages, and many of the other "founders" were multilingual as well.

In fact, they made the conscious decision not to make English, or any other language, the official language of the US.

These men were intellectual polymaths who were light years ahead of today's American Joe loser who hasn't done shit in his life being upset over a "foreign ad."

By that measure, the "decline" began long ago.

American

1) The eventual winner of this is coca-cola.

"The only thing worse than being talked about, is not being talked about" -Oscar Wilde

This is similar trolling in a way to the Google ad in India about Ind/Pak that everyone thought was "tear jerking" and beautiful, except I though it was something no self respecting Indian person could ever agree with.

2)Sure this might be liberal propaganda, and the tolerance is due to liberal propaganda, but liberal propaganda is not always bad. Freeing the slaves/civil rights [back when it was a real thing] was liberal propaganda. Liberal propaganda is necessary to a limit. Pushing it further is when the minorities end up wielding power over the majority.

3) "Natural born american citizens". What do you mean by that? There are many 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th gen Americans who are born in non-WASP homes. What is your original American then? Certainly not Irish, or Italian. Damn...it's not even British or Dutch is it? Maybe the Spanish because of Columbus.

I know! You want the commercial in the Ramapough tribal language, since they were the indigenous population of New Jersey. Well i'll get right on learning that so that I can assimilate into the American culture.

The point is America brings in all cultures and people from all countries. That was the big advertisement they made years ago. If you have a problem with it...well I think you will have to deal with it.

And what is American culture exactly? It is an amalgamation of shit from not very long ago. Live in one place for thousands of years like China, and then maybe you can bitch about this.

In the end though, COKE wins.

You don't get there till you get there

To be fair, he didn't create any of those threads. I also don't see anything particularly concerning about his posts in the ones you've highlighted, only when taken out of context.

"Manosphere is going down": /thread-32764-...#pid646597

That's definitely debatable. I've seen that come up in some threads and members have PM'd me about this topic. Even you had a memorable post about that topic previously (http://www.rooshv.com/the-manosphere-is-lost).

Immigrants are superior to Americans: /thread-31688-...#pid619259

In terms of education and personal crime levels, the immigrant groups he singled out are ahead of native-born Americans.

Pro gay: /thread-30646-...#pid592448

I don't think that's "pro-gay" to suggest being gay is normal, especially considering that "gayness" has been observed in different animal species as well.

Pakistanis are superior to Americans: /thread-30118-...#pid583498

Again, in terms of education, yes. There's empirical data in spades confirming this. Even US immigration officials prefer these type of immigrants for that reason.

More gay people are good: /thread-30151-...#pid580566

In the context of ratios, more out of closet gays may be a better phenomenon for heterosexual males when picking up on chicks. He may have a point.

Everyone is black: /thread-29969-...#pid576552

If you ascribe to the "Out of Africa theory," which 99% of scientists do, then JJ is probably correct. Though "African" and "black" aren't necessarily the same thing. Who knows what the pigmentation of those early groups were.

RE: Coca Cola Superbowl Ad Causing Controversy
Why are people outraged about this? They are basically helping coke go international by being angry and taking to social media.

Coke is just making a brilliant ad. The market is basically tapped for America. Hell if you blind taste people on coke versus Pepsi they all choose coke if you tell them in advance it is a coke vs. Pepsi challenge,

They have ownership of the brand in the USA people are brainwashed sheep for coke. Fuck I am even brainwashed for Coke over Pepsi already! (No I don't drink it anymore but if you told me to drink one I would say force feed me a coke then).

Branding done in the USA.

So what's next?

Well coke doesn't want to sell to just Americans they want to sell to the world. Let's see a few radical Americans hate the product but they gain acceptance of the international market... 6.7B market or 330M Americans?...

Lets do the math there. Also coke can be consumed by pretty much anyone in the world due to price point.

Was just a marketing tactic and a bright one at that. The angry people are making the video go viral, will go international annddd coke is winding up for the grandslammmmm

---

Also lol @ one banning already on page one. Could go for 1 banning per page.
