I always invite girls to a bar nearby my condo for obvious reasons when planning an online date.

In the past if a girl wont come to one of the many bars near my place I just write them off.

What are your guys thoughts on going to her city or area?

I agree with your approach. Make her invest in you and the bangs will come easier.

Well, you have to calibrate. If you have great logistics and your place/area are far better than hers, definitely have her come to you. Nothing wrong with going to a girl's area/place though if her situation/location is better than yours. You should usually pick the place though and definitely have fall-back plans.

Obviously you always want the former vs. the latter. I have had some success going to girl's places, but usually only because of the situation making it better to go to her. As an example, the last MILF I hooked up with lived practically on a golf course overlooking the ocean with a badass dark bottom pool, hot tub, and grand piano in her house. I brought a ~14 bottle of wine and then we followed up with a bottle of her $75+ dollar bottles. I came over to "talk" and have her "ask me some questions."

I do it all the time. My logistics in NYC shift between awful and amazing all the time. Right now, I'm on the awful side of the coin.

I posted a thread about playing "away game" awhile back, have a look at it, but in essence here is how I screen and prepare for away bangs:

1. Roommates - Does she have? Are they around? I never deal with girls that live with their parents when I'm playing the away game.

2. Location - Figure hers out and create a date plan that revolves around her location.

3. Bait in her house - does she have pets? Travel pictures? A piece of art? Learn about what's in her house and use it as gambit to go over there to check it out.

4. Be a man - I use the line, "a man always takes the girl home." You will encounter resistance, but keep in your frame, look her in the eye and repeat it to her with conviction, regardless of her verbal protests. Girls love that feeling of a strong man ending the date like a gentleman.

The idea that you should always "make the girl come to you" because anything else is beta is just dumb.
