These threads are recurring, calling some celebrity beta for hooking up with a girl that would seem stupid for a lot of people. (see mark zuckerberg, that half korean mma dude etc)

The beta label would be warranted if one of the above was being whipped and controlled by his woman, despite having much higher value. If that's not the case, hard to argue with the man's decision. They all got the woman they wanted.

I have worked within a professional sports organization (mlb clubhouse) and i know how these things go. City to city all the guys have groupies or their go to girl that they hit up when theyre in town. Of course youre going to have the squares that are wifed up and faithful but if they wanted to stray it wouldnt be hard.
I also know that there are wives/girlfriend that know and understand that their man is out hitting groupies on the road trips. Yes and no. Gio's stuff reminds me of Tim Duncan and the Spurs at their height -- everything looks simple but there are no unforced errors and it's always right place right time.

I think that each of us has a balance between "alpha" and "beta" that works best for us.

It must be congruent with our personality, look, and attitude. It helps if we appear authentic. People can often tell when we are faking it.

Word. I keep all my interactions smooth and sweet. I throw in some light quips here and there, but its generally a very warm relationship.

90% of guys starting out think they have to WIN ALL THE TIME, but the truth is you won if the girl stuck around for more than 2-3 dates. There is no need to beat somebody down un-necessarily.

With most girls, its a struggle up-front w/a few sparks that fly up intermittently.
