Most Pro Athletes have poor game. For Wayde this might be the pinnicle of what he is looking for and assumes a older lady won't be about bullshit and commited to him raising a family.

Not sure why everybody assuming Wayde is swimming in buckets as his ex wife was a mess:



He started dating her at 15 years of age, literally his HS sweet heart. They burned out and she took $5 million from in during the divorce. He is a committed Christian man whom is involved still with his Church in Chicago. She was obviously a bad seed and caused a lot of drama to the point Wade got sole custody of their children.

Still, even with all of that i'm sure he was fucking all types of hoes during his time....

Not a chance. No player would of put himself in a position to be fleeced for $5 million like that. Its clear Wade had to learn the hard way.

Also, no player is marrying a 41 year woman no matter how good that pussy is.

He dosn't know any better, but one can't knock a guy for being in love. He has two kids and wants a family so I guess he feels this is the right fit.

Dude has no game though. I always tell people stop keeping the myth alive that all pro athletes have game, most don't, especially if they are on a elite level.

Wade shows know signs of a dude whom knows the game. He is moving with his heart (and dick) on this more then his brain (and dick). It is what is though, so I wish them good and hopefully Gabby keeps them looks up for a good 10 years. Her dark skin and fitness regimen has kept he looking good for her age, in real life terms she is probably closer to "34" then 41.

Dwayne is old school. He was raised the old fashioned way in middle America. Went to college in Wisconsin.

In my experience being around a few professional athletes, I feel that, after a few years, they sometimes can crave more than money, fame, status, and pussy. These things come easy but sometimes they are STILL NOT HAPPY. (due to their emotional/psychological "issues")

This causes them to sometimes seek things like spirituality, emotional intimacy and "love". They are human just like us and they need to let their guard down sometimes and show their vulnerability.

This can lead to psycho-emotional dependency or other forms of "love".

If Dwayne is happy being "in love" with this woman than I can't criticize him.

The mind of an athlete is his most powerful weapon and his psycho-emotional comfort is very important.

If Dwayne believes that Gabrielle Union increases his power, who am I to say she doesn't?

Time will tell.

I thought I read somewhere that she's cool with him sleeping around. That's a plus in her favor. She also seems like she has a good personality, and he already has children, so her age is less of an issue. She looks good for 41. I'd say, he looks about as old as she does.

Why would Dwayne Wade, a good Christian man, agree to that? Not saying Christians aren't hypocrites at times but cheating is the thing that destroyed his last marriage when his wife cheated ON HIM. Gabrielle's last marriage suffered similar fate when her old dude was sticking his thing else where ON HER, why would she agree to that. She's possibly to old to have children, if she can't even guarantee at least some legit of monogamous commitment the what would she gain from this all? She already has enough money to know what to do with.

Dude is locking down a prospect for all the right (or wrong, depending on how you look at it) reasons for somebody seeking a stable family. I just hope he protects his money in all of this that's all. Gabrielle is in tight shape for a couple of reasons. She was an athlete herself. She played a few sports in high school, and played soccer on the collegiate level at Nebraska. She actually graduated from UCLA with a degree in sociology, and was planning to go to law school. She got an internship at a modeling agency in her senior year of high school, then the agency actually asked her if they could represent her instead. She started getting modeling, then acting gigs and thought it was cool to make money to pay off school loans. She ended up sticking with it as a career instead. When she was younger she stayed in shape for sports, then she ended up making a living from her looks, so she kept it tight as an adult because of that. She's never been a golddigger-type, just trying to snag an athlete or actor just for the money. Again, I get the objections to her age, to Dwyane wifing her up because of her age, or him marrying at all. But if you're going to put a ring on someone's finger, I don't know if you can do better regarding the type of person she is.

Also, and I forget this at times is that Black women just don't age the same as regular white American women. A Black woman at 41 is not the same as a white one, she looks like a 33 year or white female and is probably more comparable.

He fucked up his knee at Marquette in 2002, had surgery to clean out cartilage but it came back to haunt him as he has had some issues with the knee throughout his career. He was taken a spot or two higher then expected. Riley and the Heat wanted Melo, and were leaning more towards Chris Kaman if Melo was scooped up. Wade was seeing as a Wild Card sort of because of that knee but Riley took the gamble and it payed off for both him and Wade.

Riley actually pulled him aside at one point and tried to get him to pull back on the ultra-physical play. I'm just sensitive when it comes to pussy whipped NBA players ever since the days of former (Laker, Sac King, Raptor) Doug Christie and his ballbusting wife Jackie. What a spectacle that was; poor Dougie was forbidden to have a wandering eye, let alone else. He couldn't even do so much as LOOK at another female without being whipped by Jackie. She even had him dress up in his own locker room separate from other players so that club's female staffers couldn't enter. And he wasn't allowed to even look up anywhere else during the game so it was sickening seeing him strictly watching the floor all those years like some kind of lost autistic soul. And don't get me on those in-game hand signals he was sending to her. Those who remember NBA from 10-15 years ago know exactly what I'm talking about.

The Christie thing was comical. And a total aberration. He was quite possibly the most whipped dude EVER. She traveled to every game pretty much, and made sure to be a consistent presence to prevent him from straying. She even jumped into a skirmish Doug got into in the tunnel during a game, swinging her purse. Yeah, you want your girl to be down for you, but not jump into your fights!
