Girls in Jerusalem run a tight ship. Not the best place for pick-up by any means.

On the other hand, it's a must for a man to go to learn about the world. My perspectives have changed on the Israel-Palestine conflict greatly; rather I have been able to see it from a different lens that can't be seen through any text. The history of the place is immense, and the food is superb.

Beautiful, but largely inaccessible women to a quick moving tourist. Check out Tel Aviv for women and nightlife. I'll post more useful data once I finish up here.

UPDATE: I met a girl from ThaiFriendly on Christmas Eve.

I was gonna take her to a bar, get her drunk and direct her back to mine. BUT: She looked nowhere near as good as her ThaiFriendly photos. (Damn tricksters).

Instead, we went into the first restaurant we passed. I ordered some rice, pork balls and a noodle thing. (It was crap compared to 40 Baht street food, BUT the plates were rather fetching.)

I was trying to eat as fast as possible and make some small-talk, but she kept staring at me and telling me things about my life.

"I can tell from your expression. You will live in Thailand for a long time" (I thought it looked like I was bloody bored).

Anyway, we ate up and walked on. She ate about a quarter of the shared meal (partly because I was rushing to get the date over). On the walk out she kept saying how we were going to spend this Christmas eve together. She wanted to know what the next venue would be. "I know this is important night for you, I don't want you to be lonely".

I told her that it wasn't a good night for me. As I was missing my family and wanted to Skype them.

Still, she kept pushing for desert. "Maybe we can get desert". "Oh, actually I'm pretty full haha".

"Maybe we can go to 7-11 for ice cream?" "Haha. Ah No. So full"

"I want to give you ice cream haha" "Haha" :-S.

Eventually we got back to the BTS station. I had to queue up and get the change for the ticket.

(In Bangkok, you usually get the change at a ticket booth. Then you go to a separate machine, queue up again and purchase the ticket with that change)

The queue was long. She said "Wait for me here, I get you something" and she walked into the nearby mall.

I got to the counter, but the man just gave me a ticket, (so I didn't have to queue up for the machine)

I looked back, saw she wasn't there, and just went through the gates and got on the train.

She messaged me a minute later "You already go inside? It's OK, I understand. I will let the ice cream melt in my hand"

I felt really bloody bad actually. Like I ruined Christmas.
