You're absolutely right, good sir. Which is why I am still working on my goals. Pro tip: look for Uniqlo polos. Sleeves are tight to begin with, and they're just baggy enough (even the slim ones) to hide a slight belly. They are relatively inexpensive.

I take a 48 jacket and a 42 belt. My waist with a tape measure is 46. So I have a belly, and I am working on it. Have dropped 15-20 lbs in 2 months mostly through better diet, nutrition, and de-stressing.

However, I wear suits to work and project confidence and get IOIs all the time.

Don't let the belly or anything stop you. Sure, try to improve, but don't let the belly be the thing that keeps you from approaching.

Also, I'm told that long sleeves tend to make the belly look smaller, as does a jacket like a sport coat or suit. A short sleeve polo will accentuate it.

The dedication has started to pay off. I am down to 250 after 2 months in the gym + Boxing classes. My face is no longer round, and I am far more defined physically. I have lost roughly 9 pounds of fat, and put on 5 lbs of muscle and my physical conditioning is through the roof. Due to my success in the gym and hard training, my confidence and physical swagger were very high- so I put it to work....

Last week I went to watch the Eastern Conference finals at a local bar (There are sometimes hot girls there) and was served by a hot 20 year old Latina bartender. I immediately started flirting with her and hit her old school "mack em down" emotional "fall in love with the struggle that is life" shit. She went for it, and we had a real chill conversation. I was there for an hour and the game was a blowout, so I was going to go for the number drop (remember "old school mack"-you drop them your number and till them to "Hit me up sometime, we should hang out") and make my exit. hey guys, new to the forum
about 2 years ago (about to turn 40) I decided you only live once, so started eating properly, running, kettlebells. in 12 months I shed 13 kg and started getting in shape. In Feb this year I left my wife of 16 years (not directly connected to my turning a page but some of it actually is). I also discovered eastern europe, and yes, it's a great fucking time to be nearly 42, in shape, with disposable income (despite the split up!) own house, and live 2,5 hours from Kiev. Been seeing ukrainians since then, living the time of my life
Tonight my current 28yo hottie comes to see me for about 2 weeks. Good times

I have been to Kiev A LOT in the past 12 months. Early 20's are in my opinion harder to obtain than mid to late 20's due to the fact that if you get to 25 in EE and you aren't married with a kid or 2 you're considered a failure as a woman, generally. So those in that age bracket are generally more receptive to older guys, and not just golddigging like an early 20's could be. That said, a fresh uni student just arrived from central ukraine to study in uni could be the ideal target to "groom" properly
Period: winters are COLD but Kiev is full of talent, best periods are probably march-july i would say. As for how long... it depends on what you're trying to achieve. I'm lucky enough to live close to it at a couple hours flight so i racked up a few miles for sure, even just for weekends or even 1 night!

Mid fifties guy here and just passing on information that could increase guys odds with ladies. Firstly at my age quality/experience with a girl is what I want to remember (reminisce on/appreciate the score/notch later). I think I've forgotten (sometimes the day after) the 100's of meaningless bangs. But patience of the sly grey-ing fox is my strength (and cash)

Now as a further tidbit....having the body of the Greek god Apollo is intimidating? to women (24 and up or younger that had kids)) it only magnifies to them (self esteem) their body flaws and they would not want to be seen naked without lights off. (which even in my 20's or 30's more than a few chicks wanted the light off or hid under the blankets)

The point is girls mostly want to be with or feel comfortable with guys with not overly pumped body's..some may like a little belly even

Regardless ...Always be in a suit with expensive shoes (girls look at shoes as purses) and look slim/fit in the suit...golf shirt e.t.c and girls of any age will see money and sexy (and opportunity for themselves)

Natural female habits are to play on....chicks beauty/body's are their assets/power don't outshine that because in most cases that's is all they have (to manipulate/control)

Even In casual observations young strippers gravitate to the suits/money at clubs (laughable to see strippers leave their young chubby no job, face-booking boyfriends for the cash but it's a female habit!) so depending on the setting older guys can do fantastic with 20 yr olds ...but in public in broad daylight it depends on the local culture and if that is the situation ..then bars/restaurants along a beach/plaza at night or day game at festivals ...coffee shops ..museums..a little away from public scrutiny or buried in mobs of people (carabana parades)

Thank you DimeBait glad I could add input to the thread. Some other small facts for over 40 guys with regards to fitness

1) That chiseled looks you worked your brains out to obtain....girls look and think (when sober) THAT GUY SPENDS ALL HIS TIME WORKING OUT (yes selfish thinking upfront)

2)Like every knob I kind of thought being at a fitness club would be a nice place to meet chicks.....I found the reason most chicks are there is they don't really feel good about themselves, and more than a few just want to do cardio/bike/yoga/whatever and leave...A girl approached me once......she said to me...Hi I just wanted to tell you that you inspire me (and walked away) ..UHM Thanks! (but that isn't why I'm here.....)

SO for a over forty guy...stay fit for yourself don't overdo it because it has a downside message to chicks from even starting a relationship (and also they start worrying about how one tit is saggier than the other and other flaws only they can see) ..chicks tell you what cranks them ..clothes make the man (an athletic body to fill them out)....and a white tee shirt/pair of jeans (casual)

I got the smiling minds app for meditation started 50, 32kg kettlebell swings a day for 30 days challenge.I'm eating 1 organic beetroot ,carrot and apple a day.I don't eat till about 10 or midday now.So intermitant fasting.
I've been on the Win Hof daily since feb but a cold showers everyday for about 2 yeats now.
On the bad side.My cholestral and blood sugar is high hence the organic veg/fruit I'm eating.

My main enemy is I love going to bars I also drink for free alot cause I know people.This has fucked me up because I can't say no.I figure better this happens now at 46 than 56.I've shed 1.5kg since I got diagnosed 2 weeks ago.I'm down to 86 kg but want to get to 81kg.

The weird thing is I'm getting massive female attention at the moment from younger chicks(I only notice younger ones) I got women at work who want to fuck me and I'm juggling a barista and gym staff 22 and 26.I don't know wtf is going on.
Medìtation Wim Hof has been massive.I breath into tension now.I got that from a Russian systema martial arts book.The last couple weeks I keep getting compliments on how good I look.But it's my inside radiating out.

Also a book and audio from Dr Mario Martinez called the Mind body code..It combines eastern and western methods.Basically our body stops us from abundance and we have self defeating issues that kicks in when abundance happens be it wealth love health.We are scared of abundance and sabotage retarding our growth.This comes from our childhood etc.It's been fucking amazing men.I had it on women, on money, on love.

I also have been doing yoga for men off youtube in the morning.And watching a dude called the fearlessman on youtube.Also believe it or not chakra healing and opening my heart.That's actually good shit.Being ex military and LEO I did things believing I was dead in order to function.Thats not good in the long run.

Yeah yeah I lift but don't forget your mind and your heart as a whole body spirit workout.

On the Smiling minds app.It got me regular into meditation and accountable to where now I don't need it.I can do it in silence.I now try to do it in more chaos noisy places.It helps with pick up big time.
