For exmaple, was last Monday on a date with a Russian devushka and she was a dull chatterbox, got asked not a single question by her. Mate was on a date with Romanian, similar thing.

Thanks for your two-penneth worth. What you describe, at the risk of my sounding obstinate, rather seems to confirm what I've been saying, in that it applies predominantly to East European women that have already been resident in the UK for some years and who have had enough time to adjust their personalities to the more narcissistic and entitled mindset of native British women. I've had experience of interacting with Polish women who have been in Britain for quite a bit of time (i.e. 5 years plus) and their attitudes often seem to be just as shitty and entitled as native UK women, without, I may add, much in the way of British respectfulness - in that you're certainly correct.

But have you noticed much of a difference in character between, say, central/eastern European women who are fresh off the boat and those that have been in the UK for some years already?

I'm very tempted to date a woman from Poland, but really do have concerns about then bringing her back to the UK, since I fear she would only end up little different from the local women after a stay of a couple of years or so. Having said that, I really don't have much of a desire to live in Poland long-term and would, for economical and cultural reasons, much rather remain in the UK. So I'm in a bit of a dilemma at the moment as to what to do. But one thing is becoming increasingly clear and it is that I really find the character of British women impossible to navigate, even for short periods of time, such is their level of entitlement and shallowness that has accelerated noticeably over the past 10-15 years.

All we can do is generalise and try to find trends. I met a very attractive, feminine, socially astute Romanian woman at work - a classy 8 with ease. However she married young and I don't make matters worse by encouraging hypergamy and harlotry so we became good friends with the knowledge that we would have definitely got together if she wasn't married.

Like the Hungarian 22 year old I mentioned above, we talked about a wide range of things. I have not had such deep conversations with UK women for a decade.

I ran into a new neighbor out where I live with a Russian wife and baby. She seemed very feminine and sweet. She was also very thin. The guy came off a bit on the nerdy side, so I'm guessing he was an engineer or computermcgeek. Why do I bring this up? Because when I meet people like him I have hope for the future. Both looked to be about 25, BTW. He had just moved into a little Cape Cod house, a perfect starter, and across the street from an elementary school. People like him I wish the best of luck.

(07-26-2015 09:03 AM)N°6 Wrote:  Spot Feldeinsamkeit. I think British women look down on anyone who approaches them, this is the default setting. Their stony faced demeanor and haughty attitude is one of the first things that I noticed about UK women after living in France for four years. I also noticed that they drop their heads to look at the pavement when walking by a man.

I've found American women to be quite open and friendly when I cold approached but they are suckers to a European accent.

It is telling that European women who don't speak English fluently are often better conversationalists in English than UK women. I sometimes wonder if UK women actually like men.

I agree - I also get the impression that women in the UK don't generally like men, that is indeed their default setting as you put it, although I think what you're observing is also the phenomenon of turbo-charged hypergamy in action: The overwhelming majority of men do seem to be uninteresting and unworthy to the majority of British women, but if a man of obvious extremely high value (such as a well-known businessman or a sports celebrity) suddenly appears in their presence, the mood music of the surrounding women changes and they become noticeably more girly and openly fawning in his presence.

This is in sharp contrast to continental European women, who, even if they don't find you sexually attractive, will at least give you the time of day in order to get to know you and treat you with a modicum of human respect in the vast majority of interactions.

As for British women looking down at the pavement when they pass a man, that is the least of their disrespectful behaviour. In my neck of the woods (north-east England), women often keep their head high in the air but flick it quickly in the opposite direction prior to passing a man. Other tactics I've observed frequently is to even turn to look at blank walls when passing men, rather than confer the oncoming human male of any form of acknowledgement. There have been several times at social events - for example, at a local church service- where I've gone to approach a woman that was new and she turned her head away to look at the blank wall as she was walking out, so as to avoid acknowledging my attempt to speak to her. I have never experienced anything approaching this type of behaviour from foreign women - ever.

But it is the countenance and body posture of British women in public that is most remarkable: Their ramrod bearing with nose stuck pointedly into the air, their pursed lips reflecting a petulant and haughty annoyance with any non-high status male passer by, their dismissive and aversive glances that they use to devalue those who have the temerity to even glance - accidentally - in their direction, as well as their total absence of warmth of expression that is reminiscent of sociopathic individuals. English women seem unparalleled for this kind of crassly paranoid and dismissive type of behaviour, although I believe women from other Anglo nations put up some stiff competition.

It's so bizarre it's like living in The Twilight Zone.

At no point has she even enquired about my age, nor me hers, although I am guessing she is max 22 and probably younger still.

This one is very hot so not sure what to think and do not want to block myself. Does she realise my age and does not care or does she not realise my age, in which case, if she asks should I be honest or lie?

Asian women are much less concerned about age, unless they come from particularly affluent families or are very Westernized. It's fairly common in most Asian countries to see Asian women with men who are 20 years their senior. A lot of them also have "daddy issues" and have an older man fetish. On the West Coast of the US, it's considered a bit of a cliché of younger Asian women at least experimenting with older white men. I get the impression it's fairly common in London as well..

Which city in the UK was this, may I ask? And what sort of game did you run on her? I ask because the nearest large city to me, Newcaslte-upon-Tyne, has many Asian women, predominantly from China/Hong Kong and I have considered running completely cold approaches on some of them on the street/in the mall. Was this what you did? How many did you have to approach before you got this girl's number? I'm intrigued ...

The problem isn't Western culture, it's Western affluence and your competition. The problem is that back in EE, almost any Western guy seems like an incredibly cultured and sophisticated, rich gentleman. Once they get to the West, they see that the guy looks a lot less impressive walking along the streets of London than in Krakow. If they are attractive by Western standards, they will get hit on by men (particularly if they find out her story - EE "mail order brides" have, rightly or wrongly, a DTF reputation) and start to wonder about the wisdom of their choices. Guys with a higher SMV than you hitting on them will start to make them wonder even ore, then resent you. This is why most relationships that start this way fail when there is a considerable discrepancy in relative SMV.

Hi, 43 here. Can't agree more about being careful working out, it sucks when you injure your back and then your knee and are out for weeks.

Just spent three months not being able to do any type of presses without pain. 59. I got progressively uglier during those months, now I'm doing treadmill intervals and it's helping, but forget that lift heavy crap unless you seriously know what you are doing and have long experience over 50.

Presses and heavy workouts are a no if you are over 45. High intensity training is highly recommended as well as body exercises.

At 50, I still lift, but with moderately heavy weights and at a reduced volume. I'm essentially doing a SL program with a more intense warm-up, one work set and a very gradual progression. I agree, an injury can put you out for a while and burn your progress.

Same. The shoulders are especially vulnerable. All it takes is one wrong tweak, and your shoulders are shot for a year. I avoid presses. The only heavy weight I use for my shoulders are shrugs. Other than that I use 10 lb barbells for shoulder stuff like front lifts.

I've reduced the overall intensity of my workouts in the past year.* I don't notice any aesthetic drop off. I can maintain what I got with the lower intensity.

*the one exception are deadlift . I started doing them about a year and a half ago. I enjoy pushing myself and setting new personal records. They make me strong like ox.

Dead lift isnt' much of a problem for me but I've always had strong legs. I can easily dead lift 3 X 8 at 130#. Not much of a record compared to some of the gorillas around here, but at 57 it's nice to be able to still do some things right. Still don't know why the squat hurts my back so much.

Agreed. In my twenties I would say go heavy or go home. In my late forties I don't deadlift over 315, squat over 275, or bench over 275.

vinman, how did you arrive at those figures? I just want to make sure I am being responsible. A percentage of 1 time max?

Though my window is fading I still want to bench 315 one time rep. Best I did a year ago was 275 twice. But the shoulders, just need to be careful. Screwed them up messing with 315 a couple of years ago.

I was on the road for three weeks (LA, then Panama, then Las Vegas), all hotel stays pretty much (other than a few days at a friend's) and no work out other than some crunches on the floor of one of the hotel rooms (and some banging).

I got back in the gym yesterday, dipped my SL down somewhat (it had previously dipped when I had a trip before) and still fairly sore again today on the legs. Bad form on the DL and a bit of tightness in my back, but already feeling better than yesterday. No problems from the presses and I didnt even really drop the weight at all - strange as I would consider my shoulder strength a weaker spot.

Hard to keep on track with frequent biz/personal travel - I need to figure out a better way not to lose my progress, without spending too much money in the pursuit.

I am 40 now, have been lifting since I was about 24, I cant say I notice any difference at all. I still lift the same amount, but I was always (apart from a few years when i wanted to get huge) sensible. I like to go to the gym alone, I focus on my form and only go up in weight when im ready. Perhaps I will notice a gradual change in my late 40s. One thing for sure though I will be lifting till the day I die, I love it.

Those are numbers I used to use as part of my warmup for heavy lifts back in the day. I would routinely lift heavy every time I went into the gym in my twenties, and I would determine how hard I could push myself depending on how I handled those numbers. My personal bests were 650# squat, 585# Deadlift, and 465# bench. Now that I am close to fifty, and my joints aren't what they used to be I refuse to go heavy. In fact the numbers I mentioned in the previous post are things I'll do for a set of singles (where 1 rep counts as a set). Now I work the muscle, and not the ego. As you get older your workouts should be about endurance, and flexibility. I can't use youthful brute force and ignorance to move weight anymore. If I'm on the bench and 225 feels "heavy" I stay there. If I'm having a good day, and I can go to 275, I'll do singles.

RE: Older Guys (40+)
I'm turning 40 this year. Here's my experience:

Living in a city where there are an equal number of single women who are both as young as me (seewhatididthere?) and younger, the intangibles become increasingly more important. I would dare say as important as the basics. The hardest thing about getting older? Maintaining fitness. Weight goes on thinking about eating something irresponsible. Takes twice the effort to get it off.

Being in a different city every night, the one thing that has changed with age is my confidence level. I will go into a bar knowing full well that I control the situation. She WILL be coming back to my room if I want her to. I have honed my strengths, verbal and nonverbal. Sometimes it's just about being around another human being without talking about work. So, I go out alone, and look for the hottest single girl in the place. Make conversation, and play my game based on what time I need to be up in the morning. Sometimes I'm not wanting to make the investment only to have to wake up at 4:30a to make a flight.

Something else that has changed: Day game, night game, anytime game is all fair game. At this stage, things can go from friendly hellos to full on escalating quite quickly. Personally, I don't waste my time with unapproachable women, and a quick and friendly, slightly assertive "Hi, how are you? Great outfit/shoes/etc" with a smile can sort those out. At this stage of the game, the number of bitter, jilted women is quite high. That's a non-starter for me on most occasions as generally, those women are mid-30's divorced with a kid or 2. Next.

I am wondering if the window has closed with women in their mid to late 20's. I'm here to sharpen my tools and learn from others with similar experiences. Yes, there is a part of me that wants to settle down and there is a part that loves being a single airline pilot. Both have tradeoffs, like all things in life.

Are you kidding me?? A 40 something commercial pilot not being able to pull women in their 20's? I haven't seen you but if you take care of your fitness, grooming and have solid game you should be swimming in pussy from the younger generation. Don't discount the fact that there are a ton of young women with daddy issues, older guy fetishes and simple curiosity. I'm 43 and I've pulled many women in the 18-26 range from online game alone. Enjoy this, you're in the prime of your life!

^^^Agree completely. The window is actually as wide open as it gets. I just turned 40 and will tell you unequivocally that you can easily attract 20's girls. You are at your peak SMV, as are they (until they hit about 25) and their sex drive is off the charts.

In the 18-25 range they're all about partying and having feral cat sex all over the place (in the Western world). Make sure you get in good shape with a lifting routine, dress well and add some humor to your Game with them. They're highly impressionable and less jaded for obvious reasons as well. Once you break down the feminist wall they've built up you're probably in due to their horniness at peak fertility. Hook them with, "I've got buddy passes I'd love to share with the right girl. I'm currently taking applications. We'll see if you make the cut." Catnip.

26-30 are starting to look for a (beta) provider as they leave their peak SMV and start to hit the wall. Slip some provider game in there and you're in.

30+ I steer away from due to the issues you raised. They're so nasty, used up, and feminized by this point it's hard to even want to approach them. If you do, lookout for the rail container of baggage they're hauling around.

Bottom line, you've got to look good as they are as vapid as it gets but if you are a High Value man at peak SMV, you'll do fine.

RE: Older Guys (40+)
Still happy to have the energy to book a trip last minute and take advantage of the "Arb."

I keep an eye on flights (those of you reading the travel threads know this) and found an inexpensive flight from Vegas to Santiago de la Caballeros next week. I'll spend the week between Santiago and perhaps the coast, and look for an inexpensive upgradeable (I'm AA Platinum) flight back to somewhere I don't mind landing (my family's got places in Miami and NY, and my place at the moment is in Park City).

I don't have a mid-aged mindset where I'll grab my roll-aboard and bounce to a foreign country, particularly somewhere a bit off the beaten path (not that Santiago is so far off the path).

One or two of you fellow old dudes should bounce down there and join me. I'll be in town from Sunday the 2nd for perhaps 4-7 days.

I've referral links for most credit cards, PM me for them & thanks if you use them
Strip away judeo-christian ethics ingraining sex is dirty/bad & the idea we're taking advantage of these girls disintegrates. Once you've lost that ethical quandary (which it isn't outside religion) then they've no reason to play the victim, you've no reason to feel the rogue. The interaction is to their benefit.

I have never been to Costa Rica so I wouldn't know how viable that is.

But if she has any good qualities, one of them is going to be she cares about her family and I doubt she wants to get far away from them. And to be honest, I'd hate to take her from her family. But while my parents joke and say they would move to where I am, I would be concerned about their safety.

One option is to move to Poland. Though getting westernized, it does provide a safer environment. More stable. When I have been there it isn't like it is overwhelming amounts of cash being thrown around by people.

I think Poland is a great place. While it might be an upgrade in living, it doesn't cost a ton more than Ukraine to live. You'd be giving her a better life, still close to her family but I would be comfortable letting my parents visit/stay in Poland.

Sure, I could try and get us more west like the UK. But I am not interested in her getting brainwashed either.

But at some point I'd probably need to move the family back to the U.S. When I am not exactly sure. What age when the kids would struggle too much to adapt. At what age would the transition be too hard to fit into the school system and get into college (if that made sense). When would I know that my wife is fully committed to me and our kids. Etc.

I'd love to hear stories from guy who have handled this.

@Samsamsam, I would love to hear some stories also. And if Costa Rica is not good, how about a place like Prague or Budapest, or Belgrade, or Bahamas, or Singapore, these are some pretty nice places to live.

Another thing, I have a little experience dating overseas women, not as much as some on here. I have dated several women from Latin America and FSU, but it was all in the US either living here or they were FOB. And mostly on the younger side 21 to about 33. I am 53. But there is another issue that you have hit on Sam and I have hit this myself, and seen much written about on these forums. And it has to do with fear or anxiety of thinking that if you do find a woman overseas and she is someone who is a quality woman and you are ready to settle down. The next thought instantly turns to how do I set it up to avoid getting screwed over by her.

And I am in that boat also. But I wonder if sometimes we get too caught up in trying to avoid the bad stuff that we are putting ourselves in a no win situation. At the end of the day there is no guarantees man or woman. Any of them can potentially screw you. And I have to say on the totality of my life I have been screwed over by a lot more men than women. Another issue is the possibility that if we are being so cautious trying to avoid the dishonest women and protecting ourselves. Then that is all we are concentrating on. It is quite possible that is what we will attract. Since that is what we are focused on. Remember the quote "that which we resist, persists"?

Never mind that the fact that we lose out on a whole lot of fun if we are too cautious about being screwed. The facts are that over 80% of international marriages are successful. I have seen many close up, and few if any that ever split up. This is a very high statistic. Women from these countries are much more traditional, family oriented, and willing to stick by their men. Are there exceptions? Of course there are. But nothing is a guarantee, no matter what you do. We are talking about people here. But I believe if you mix in the ingredients of, a quality woman, a good family background, control of your money, with a good pre-nup, and spend the time to get to know the woman, and finally game your wife from the beginning to the end. (by the way I am married to an American woman, and this has been my most successful application of game to date.) I think your chances are way above 80%.

I don't know how you could do better. I believe the moving to a third country is an additional protection. But in reality I look at it more as a lifestyle thing that would improve both of our lives. And that is the way I will approach it if and when the time comes.

Just my two cents. What do you think? Are we overthinking this thing? Are we just being a little too cautious? And then throw in the fact that a lot of guys on this site have a whole shit ton of options/plates at their disposal. Kind of makes it easier to just say. Never settle down.
