Very easy to meet people in the manila and not socially akward like if you go alone like in bangkok good way to find a wing is check into a backpacker the first night then a hotel for the rest of your stay.

It isn't necessary but this guy is a new comer to the game.
Im just trying to give him a pointer or two if hes struggling with his approach that's all.

All this would do, in my opinion, is put the interaction on a sugar-daddy basis from the very beginning. If its not necessary, why do something that will create the expectation throughout the duration of his interaction with her that she'll be getting something in return for her attentions. Especially in the Philippines, where this issue can exist regardless of this type of behavior, this seems to me a very bad idea.

I'd have to agree with Rio, VP and G_g on this one. If you've read any of my posts on this thread, I've just laid out the reasons behind why it'll be easy for you to get laid without having to sort to these 'buy her some jeans' tactics.

Historical, Geographical, Cultural, Economic, and Social forces have aligned to give you, the foreigner, a huge advantage over your local competition. Your height and WGF on top of your foreign status, drive up your value in a Filipina's eyes. Dress well, be classy and friendly and you're golden.

You'll find that you're doing well with them even with mediocre game as long as you avoid the major pitfalls of being too 1) Arrogant (Huge Cultural Taboo) 2) Overtly Shameless (Called 'Walang-Hiya' it is also an egregious and unforgivable fault) and 3) Whiney (Let's face it, if you think it's attractive to Filipinas for a man to complain and bitch about all the bad things you've had to face in the her country, then you'd need to spend more time in the Game Forum. She's already having to deal with those issues every day.)

Smurf if you do that your going to be expected to buy jeans, or whatever whenever you see her; DO NOT start down that one way road!!! Your 18 6'2" white and American all you gotta do is smile and say hi, Period that is it..... I'd ignore that whole "buy the prettiest girls jeans and walk out the store" thing. Scott Free's advice is Golden especially dress nice, be friendly, show them a good time and smell good (i know this seems like common sense but philipinos seem to me to be are a lot more formal than americans, we view cargo shorts and flip flops as perfectly acceptable everyday wear, in the philippines not so much) Pipelining is as easy as joining the site, the girls will add themselves to your pipeline youll have more messages than you can possibly handle. I never wear shorts when women are specifically on the agenda, but if it's a hot day I'll stick them on for comfort

Wearing shorts doesn't mean you have to wear baggy cargos with a Chang t-shirt and flip-flops.

Pants will look better than shorts 99% of the time, but still, a good shirt and some good shoes puts you well above the sausage hoard. Sometimes I wear a t-shirt when I go to the pool in my condo, not a good look. It's amazing how much you're transformed when you swap it for a shirt.

Actually, I'd say throw all your t-shirts in the trash tbh. (Unless your big, in which case they can look good, but a shirt is always gonna be better)

If I'm meeting a girl in the day, I swap the fitted shorts for a pair of rolled up pants. I make sure I wear a light colour like grey or beige as black sucks the heat towards my balls.

(For Bangkok, but I guess in this case there's some cross-over)

During the day I almost always wear shorts in Asia. In my opinion It wont hurt you unless you have some other deficits that you are trying to counteract.

Out of all the SEA countries I think Thailand would be the place NOT to wear shorts though. I still wear shorts in Thailand anyways. 2 cents.

Chino shorts during the day? No problem.

Chino shorts during the night? No go.

Board shorts and flip flops anywhere other than the beach? No go.

Linen clothes are always a good option in really hot weather. You can still look sharp in linen, and they will keep the sun off of you while remaining cool.

How to Get a Short-Term Condo in Makati Greenbelt

Hey everyone,

So, I posted a while ago asking about getting a short-term condo in Makati Greenbelt. The advice was a bit mixed. I just went through the process here, so I'll share what I've found.

DirectDanger's map is very accurate. This is pretty much where you want to stay: (Credit DirectDanger)



What You'll Find Online

What you'll find online is apartments between 40,000 to 60,000. A search on Sulit for "Greenbelt Short Term" will yield a handful of results. Craigslist's housing section with the search term "Greenbelt" can be useful too.

Also, use AirBnB. Do a search for apartments in your price range, then ask if you can see the apartments before finalizing the deal. You can't share contact info on AirBnB, but the realtor can just tell you where to meet her and when.

As DirectDanger said earlier, texting is more effective than calling. If between Sulit, Craigslist and AirBnB you reach out to 10 real estate agents, probably 5 will get back to you within a day. That would be enough to book out your whole day. I did the whole process in a day, saw 8 places and chose 1.

The Reality on Pricing

This section's for those who don't want to spend $1,000+ USD for a one month condo. If price isn't an issue, skip this part.

I ended up renting a place in Legazpi Village, in The Columns for $30,000 plus $1,000 for internet. There was no listing at this price. Instead, I saw 8 different apartments through 4 different agents.

The first agent showed me a unit in The Columns for 40,000. Then, later another agent showed me a different unit, but offered me 35,000 for it. I mentioned this to an agent later on, and she said she had a unit here for 31,000. The 31,000 unit was slightly less nice than the 35,000 unit, but I went with it anyway.

The 40,000+ units were significantly nicer, but the core question I asked myself was: "Do I think this (the niceness of the apartment) will influence my ability to get laid?" I basically thought the 31,000 apartment was "good enough" and went with it.

So, bottom line, you can get an apartment for 30,000 or so right near Greenbelt. The lower prices within range of DirectDager's map were in The Columns Legazpi Village (not to be confused with The Columns.) You will not see these prices listed anywhere, you basically have to get them from the agents by asking if the prices are negotiable.

I have a buddy who just arrived the other day and is looking for a 1 month rental in Makati or the Fort. He has lived in Bangkok before so figured it was very similar to that and could just arrive and be spoiled for choice with all the serviced apartments and 1 month rental options. He was in for a surprise when he landed.

The rental market for 1 month is very limited in Manila relative to Bangkok. Obviously it is possible to find such rentals but don't expect great value from them.

Living in Manila is not cheap. I think it surprises people how much they end up spending here.

Yeah, definitely more expensive than I expected.

VNecks are your friend, short sleeves with a collar light material, I'll wear alot of skater tshirts, sometimes shorts, but mostly jeans sb dunks in the day they like the american swag. At night collard shirt, designer jeans I saw a lot people wear jackets out at clubs at night I'm just not that formal and its too damn hot....yeah reality check that sucked for me but I hope i can get back this year. First up dominican never been.....

Why I use UBER...

Every driver has gone through a screening process by UBER and the drivers are also rated by customers. Drivers are very nice, polite, and competent drivers.

The cars are anything from nice enough (ford focus) to baller (Mercedes S-class). They will always be new, clean, and comfortable.

The ability to have them wait for you, drive to multiple locations, pick someone up, or drop someone off, it is really much more than just a taxi service.

I get an electronic receipt with every ride. I can use this as a business expense for my taxes.

It cost only $2 USD to $5 USD more per trip then using a regular taxi. I am happy to pay the small premium for such a quality service.




How I use UBER....

- When it is raining outside and getting a taxi is a pain in the ass an UBER car will drive right up and wait for me.
- If I want to make sure a girl gets home safe I can watch the car and see exactly where and when the girl got home.
- Pick girls up. Many girls are scared to take a taxi alone at night to come see me. I send an UBER car to pick them up and bring them directly to my condo.
- When at a club, bar, restaurant and I want everything to go smoothly when we walk out the door I have an UBER car waiting for me. Makes logistics amazing.
- I have had drivers go through Starbucks drive through, wait while I go into 7-11, wait while I go inside and get a girl, etc...
- I have UBER pick up or drop girls off all the time. This means I never have to give taxi money and worry if I give her to much or if she is cheating me and really taking a jeepney.



UBER is Legit. The value in the service provided is amazing. Any true player should be using it all the time.

Ah, thanks guys for the quick response and advice, I will take it all in consideration when I visit, I have been reading the forum for quite some time, as well as other blogs and sites and found this one very helpful. When I travel there I want to be able to make it as easy as possible to meet people and have fun.

1 more quick question, do any of you guys know how the majority of the people dress up for clubs around Makati, I'm guessing because It's a rich part of Manila, most of the club goers would wear designer clothes, so I would most likely have to get a set haha
