Include some plugin that allows users to vouch for another user. Basically one should be able to say "I'm user X and I've personally seen user Y pick up a girl.".

Because I bet you 10.000 dollars, that some people on this forum with high reputation have no real world game whatsoever.

I see that you've deleted that ridiculous call for witch hunt against 2Wycked (guess he's in season now, like GManifesto was before) and was glad that you came to your senses, but instead you chose to go on and created a whole witch hunting thread. I thoroughly disagree with the idea proposed, the reasons for which are:

A) Reputation of a poster and how much he is valued and respected consists of far more than just his level of game
B) "Prove that you can pick up a girl while I'm watching" is a very common insult used by game denialists and feminists that is of course absurd because of how random game can be. We shouldn't follow in their foot steps.
C) A person could demonstrably be a basement dweller with absolutely no game whatsoever and still provide good opinions/advice and entertaining posts (and vice versa).

If we were in some kind of a game bootcamp where our lives depend on picking up as many women as possible, this would be reasonable. But we're at a forum. No matter the topic, a forum will always remain a place for sharing knowledge. As long as the knowledge is verifiable and of high value, who cares who is behind it?

Why not make it better and have a feature that lets users unvouch for a user that "has no game"?

"I saw this guy approach and he never made it to GALNUC." -10 for him, he's a loser.

Yeah, true, I was a bit disappointed with some of the stuff here lately, and it was posted out of frustration. Perhaps it's just not the place for me anymore and that's that.

And I fully agree that the ability to pick up women is not the most important thing in the world and theoretical knowledge is often valuable even if not backed with practical knowledge.

But from my point of view, a lot of the advice here is harmful to the goal of being a better person, a better man, a better player, because it is given by people who are too inexperienced (sometimes because they are too young).

More and more I come here and I see homophobia, obsession with feminists, mindless advocating of social darwinism, generalisations, many generalisations, .. and just lots of negativity which seems to stem from frustration. This can't be productive.

That's why I wrote: Reward experienced players. People who know what they are talking about.

But, perhaps I should just move on, so please go ahead and delete this thread.

Maybe your time here is coming to an end. It's alright too, I've moved on from other forums in the past and I most likely will move on from this one in time as well.

Regardless, the majority of us make these generalizations because they appear in our lives daily. We smell the stench that no one else smells and it is a great placed to be around others who feel similarly.

For a long time, I was alone and didn't like the fact that I was seeing this train wreck unfold. The general debasement of our culture and population will come to bite the progressives in the ass when another culture or group out breeds them (practicing Muslims or Hispanics).

Secondly, the advice on this forum is gold and bar none is the answer to solving our problems, staying healthy, and avoiding the machine that wants to make you a slave to someone else.

However, challenging a false idea with a counter-point doesn't make the counter-point necessarily true. And taking a sample and extrapolating it up to be a valid truth in all cases (= generalising) just isn't valid.

Just as stamping "red pill" on a perspective to see a thing, just one perspective, does not make it automatically true. (btw. a nice example of that is that some people think that being atheist is red pill. As the religion thread has shown, some people completely disagree. Are they blue pill? I'd disagree.)

Filter it out yourself. I do not participate in those threads to any great extent, and I generally don't even read them. There is a lot of rehashing going on, but that's just the nature of human conversation. We like to chew and re-chew our favorite cud: feminism, how American girls suck, fat girls, etc.

I've gotten far more positive value out of RVF than negative, and one of the most valuable things I've learned is from Giovinny: to be positive, think positive, and act positively. Even if it seems unwarranted, unrealistic, or too optimistic, it is far better for your mental and physical well-being. You can't control what guys are gonna talk about. I'm sure there will be 3 more threads about outrageous things some fat feminist said in the next 3 weeks. Doesn't bother me because I don't let those things into my reality.

Menace: Yes! Same here. Especially meeting RVF folks has been very positive. I felt we were on the same page, and these were genuine good guys. You are right, I have to filter that stuff out and stick to the more positive thinking, indeed.

@frenchie: I don't think that's what muc is trying to say here. I have no problems with his explanation - of course, the problem still remains that A) it would be disastrous to have some kind of arbiter deciding on what is good or bad and what is an acceptable level of homophobia or talking about feminism (that seems quite a lot more of an authority than just a moderator like Tuthmosis or Roosh), and B) again, these qualities are mixed with people with both lots of game and no game. I think this place has mostly done well in the past as far as quality discussion and don't see why it wouldn't in the future. It's surely superior to a vast majority of other forums in that regard.

Trust me, sometimes I get a just plain "WTF" or outraged feeling when reading some threads, but the overall quality of forum discussions is much higher than in any internet community I've ever seen.

If i may bring my own personal opinion to bear on this matter.

#1. I hardly post in the game forum myself. In fact, i think i have only posted once "ISOLATING THE CASHIER" in the game forum. There is simply not much to write about game that isnt found already in the game forum. Almost everything has been exhausted to death. Before i post anything, i first search the database for it. If covered before, i stop myself from posting. My preferential game is: I like direct approach and i like to do dance approach. This has already been beaten to death, covered ad nauseaum. What is the point of repeating what others have written numerous times? The only reason i even wrote ""ISOLATING THE CASHIER" is because i havent seen anybody write anything like it. Otherwise, i wont even post it. If the criteria is that you must write about game. no problemo. Just for you, I can even approach 10 girls today and write about it by monday. Just dont be surprised if you learn nothing new from my write up. Some game reports, i read them halfway then i skipped the rest because they are simply repetition of what i already know, or (b) what others have written before.

And not to be condescending, 99% of newbie questions are already answered in the forum archives. Whenever i read a question that i think it is a newbie. I simply dont bother replying to that thread. Use the search function.

#2. On the issue of negative postings about feminism, politics, race, iq, etc. I will recommend two things: ( a ) Ignore them and focus on what is of value to you. If the topic gets turned into the issue of race/iq/politics/feminism/etc, the best thing to do is to stop posting on that thread. for example, i posted this on epigenetics ...i tried to keep the issue around genetics/epigenetics, and the whole thing get turned into race/iq/feminism...at that point, i completely stopped posting. That was intentional. There is no gun to my head that says i have to reply to every post. Filter. Ignore. I have zero intent of getting myself dragged into race/iq debate.

The second option: Try to bring a positive, less angry angle to these threads. Case in point, there was a popular thread last week about "women claiming mental rape", my approach to the subject was this. I too could have written a polemic about that issue. But i prefer to take a less vituperative approach. Instead of joining the heated debate on obamacare, i went this positive route.(my stock LPNT went up by 4% on friday(yesterday) alone. check it out). On the issue of selfies and women narcissism, again i went with a positive approach. Thedude3737 recently gave me some good tips. Stuff like these add value to my life.

Instead of getting my knickers twisted into a bunch, I prefer the positive to the negative... though, sometimes, my frustration gets the better of me. for example. we are only human.

You dont have to do exactly what i do when it comes to feminism, politics, race, iq, etc.... but this is my may of filtering out the good from the bad. My mark minter post is another one.

To be fair and balanced, the avalanche of threads after threads constantly complaining about feminism, social malaise, white knights, etc do sometimes serves a useful purpose. what do i mean? Every now and then, people that are barristers(lawyers) will say or comment on those threads with their legal background perspective. Discussing all the clever legal way your life can get messed up by a copper(police) or judge etc. e.g. MikeCF invaluable commentaries. During those times, i learn something new. After all, i am not a barrister. Also, some of the comments can be funny and wise-arse. which is not bad. It also serves as a selection for me in determining who i want to eventually meet in real life or not.

#3. One last thing, I hope that you, mr.muc, are simply not jealous that 2wycked have more rep points than you. at the risk of abusing my rep points priviledge, i wont mind giving you a rep point, and also, one for my 2wycked too. To make things amicable. Everybody brings what they think adds value as long as a person is not trolling.

I like some of 2wycked psychoanalysis, the same way i like T aka rickyraw; if that is his domain, that is his domain.

Since this forum covers game, traveling, lifestyle, knowledge/arts, and everything else. Let people contribute where they are comfortable and knowledgeable instead of pulling a dashglobal(making shite up). It is a buffet. Pick and choose which area you are most comfortable, just make sure you fulfill a fundamental criterion: that you are adding value.

Well personally, I have a girlfriend. I read alot of game stuff, it's interesting, but honestly how much do you care about my opinion on the subject? I'm reasonably good at pickup, but by no means a master. You won't find me posting in forums dedicated to particle physics for the same reason, although I often read them.

I noticed this right away on roosh's other site(return of kings). I seems to have been overrun with guys who don't even seem to be that interested in getting laid, they just hate women and seem to have found a home with other guys who aren't interested in getting laid and hate women.

As a result, I stay off of the other manosphere sites for the most part, it's just not for me- all of the articles from ROK are posted on this forum already so I am not missing anything-aside from the mark minters of the internet.

I actually understand and agree with the sentiment.

But.

You wrote it in a trolling, needlessly adversarial way.

And.

You will find that every forum has a culture.

If you read the board, exercised some social awareness, and observed the culture....

You'd realize that most of us go out with guys from the forum.

There's even a thread about where guys have met each other.

You'd also be able to figure out that rep points do not always mean "game knowledge dropped."

For example, 2Wycked is known for interesting insights into pop culture and television programs.

Everyone who has a modicum of board awareness realizes the source of his rep points.

So either you don't really read the board or you're just trolling.

I've been reading the RVF for a long time before I joined.

I think the forum has evolved, and it's become more than just a "game" forum in a narrow sense of the word. Of course the Game section remains crucial, but the other sections are valuable and sometimes brilliant in their own right.

The concept of game has expanded. Everything is game. The Lifestyle section is about how to game living your life. Everything Else is about how to game understanding and making sense of the world. Travel is about how to game different countries. The different categories are well chosen, they're broad enough but not so broad as to be meaningless.

Each of the sections has a slightly different feel but they definitely belong together, like different wings of a good house that's being lived in and used in the right way. Like all really good houses it is kept clean but not so clean as to be alienating. It is hospitable to guests and strangers but it is stained through and through by the character and tastes of the owners.

I think the best days of the RVF are still ahead. It is only gaining in relevance and power. Posters are increasing its value every day by sharing their knowledge, experience and camaraderie, and this is true of all parts of the forum. Value is something that accrues slowly over time and there are no shortcuts, nor are any needed.

This is also why I don't initiate many threads at all. I use the search feature and realise it's all been covered. I was gaming a girl at the gym yesterday and she confessed 'coregasms' to me, which I had no idea about. I did some research and was ready to share the knowledge, but then found a threat from two years back.

I'm also far more interested in the sociology and psychology aspect of things to understand the delusions, rationalisations and motivations that filter down into widespread female society through mass media, so the feminist threads are of interest to me, because I recognise the playing field is constantly polluted by this, and it is also relevant to my job.

As for game: how, through a forum post, can you create genuine confidence in a man? How can you teach them to talk to girls in a way that intrigues them? Whilst you can do some level of venue control and rehearsed routines on a woman, at the end of the day, it is always going to come down to a man's ability to talk to girls in the moment, to be able to swing on a dime and improvise like mad without showing any visible sign of it, to create the aura of intimacy that lowers her inhibitions. You're not going to learn that from ANY forum, but simply by going out there and putting yourself in the firing line, over and over, repeatedly talking to women, and so learning to be a good conversationalist.

As for vouching for those you've seen pick up a girl: I've seen guys with high notch counts with appalling game, who succeed in *spite* of it. A training partner of mine (6ft4, muscled as hell), literally has women publically present themselves to him, exactly in the cat on heat position, so he has never needed to learn to talk to them. His life is literally a porn movie.

Two recent episodes with me there:

I learned a lot from the Game forum.

The Game forum is not about lines. It is about being a man.

I came here as a kid who was molested as a child with a mother who had some very serious "daddy issues".

I had no idea what it meant to be a man. Just looking at how guys talked to each other helped me. Seeing their belief systems, and how they view the world in order to achieve personal success. All of that helped me. I still have a long ways to go, but I am better off because of this place, and I am grateful for it.

Spend some more time on the Game forum, and you will see that you are wrong.

You could hang out with Roosh himself, and if he's having an off night then what? What if you see the guy approach and get blown out 10 times? He doesn't deserve rep points?

I've been out with a couple of the highest repped members on these boards with some of the most popular posts and glowing praise. I've seen them get blown out pretty bad, and they've seen me come up dry most nights. I guess that means we're full of shit?

Why? Because most night we go out to have fun, not to add notches to our count. Travelling is another story and I have yet to travel with another member, which would be a blast, but that's beside the point.

I rep forum members that bring intelligent discussion to the forum. I also rep guys that I meet in person who are red-pill and going against the mainstream. I don't need to see them pull a ONS for me to believe that they're "the real deal".

I mean, I got to witness the epic meeting between Neil Skywalker and Fisto, outside of a Hollywood club with some black chick's lipstick all over Neil's neck and face. No homo but I'd rather have done that than gotten another notch from a 6-7 that night.

This forum is solid. I think the culture mostly reflects the attitude of its creator (Roosh) who is laid back and and doesn't hype up shit.

I've noticed it's not even necessary for me to participate in most of the argumentative threads since there's already another guy who can make my point - in many cases better than I can.

As for meeting up with people, I do that whenever I get the chance and I have yet to have any bad experiences meeting up with RVF'ers. From the Roosh DC meetup to people I've linked up with in my travels, everyone has been pretty solid.

I had the most fun in a pickup scenario with Warder (NYC) who hardly even posts from what I can tell. That dude is a real player. I try to, but not always, indicate in my ratings of other members whether I met up with them, sometimes going back to edit my rating to mention that.

That said, so long as you're providing value and not trolling threads with bs, I'm appreciative.
