I didn't understand it but do now.
Blue collar work fucks your body up.
Get a cushy white collar job where you can cruise the web all day, do online date, and text.
Or, even better, a government job with union protections.
Sounds good but no Mike that's not how it works.
You work and grow and advance in your trade, when you get older you train other people to do the labor part and spend your time doing estimates or managing the office. You build relationships with your customers and vendors and keep the ball rolling..Not slinging concrete blocks for 50 years. That's retarded.

RE: 23 Years old, 84 notches, 17 things I do that you don't.
I'm 3rd generation construction. My grandfather owned a small construction business, my dad owned a construction business and I worked construction for years.
The shit tears your body up. I have arthritis in my hands and I'm 29yo. However, I think it's good for a cat to spend at least a summer doing construction, because it seperate the men from the boys. I remember one particular job, we were building a million gallon water tank and got two of my buddies on the job. These guys were ex football players, bigger and 'stronger' in the gym then me.
1 lasted a fucking day and the other 3 days. Pussies.
Now my dad does have the office job being a senior superintendent and doesn't have to do manuel labor but his body is fucked up. He had a beam fall on his head, fucked up his knees, his throat everything.
He always pushed me to do white collar work because of that. Ironically, he probably doesn't consider pouring bottles of vodka into club sluts throats work. ; )

Hahaha,
Every blue collar worker I've met, EVERY SINGLE ONE (this cannot be a coincidence), is divorced, often with kids somewhere in the picture.
Although blue collar guys are manly and get pussy, their lack of deeper thinking and investigation gets them fucked over in the long run. They marry a chick unthinkingly and it's the beginning of the end for them.
Also: Just so guys don't think I'm bullshitting here - I've worked construction before, and I worked at RGIS which is technically blue collar but is pussy work compared to actual construction.

That's true. Blue collar workers definitely have more game than white collar. I was hang out with some lawyers who were making 160K+ in NYC and all these guys did was bitch about their lack of pussy.
I'm pretty sure white collar work increases estrogen levels.
Samseau there is probably something to that.
I think what white collar work tricks you into is comfort. Blue collar work tricks you into thinking you are harder than a stiff in a suit cause you just busted knuckles for 12 hours straight. At the end of the day we all got to get in where we fit in.
Beyond that, Man is not just a one dimensional office-worker, or a one-dimensional construction worker. We have the capacity to develop multiple skills on multiple fronts. Why limit it to one field? You don't have to be a generalist, but no need to limit yourself to the definition of what you do by day, for pay.
I've seen guys who are 'shredded' get dusted on the farm by an old man. I've also seen basic tradesmen come into the office and call into question the basic methodologies and principles used in calculating material business transactions with only a 'laymens' understanding.
I guess at the end of the day, my question is, why be a book that can be judged by it's cover?

Do you really think the reason that their lives are fucked up is because they got into blue collar work? I'd like to think that some of us are fucked up because of our socio-economic background and upbringing and not our career choices.
There's a lot of outdated thinking on this thread, things have changed guys and all over North America (not only Alberta), people are beginning to see that the trades isn't just banging up your body for life, although that's an option if you want it. I tell the guys on my oil sands threads that if you get into a trade, it doesn't mean that you have to be the tools for life, you can segue into management and have an office job, if that's what you want.
A 22 year old journeyman skilled tradesman has more knowledge about how his company works than a recent business grad , fresh out of school. That same tradesman doesn't have massive student loan debts to pay off and can afford a house or settle down and raise a family, if that's what he wants. How long will it take a 22 year old kid who's $50-100K in debt, making 35K/year at the office to even consider buying a house or raising a family?
There's no reason why any healthy young man can't spend 5 or even 10 years working in a skilled trade, gain skills and experience and easily move onto to something else, while maintaining a healthy body and mind. I will agree that your average tradesman lives pretty hard, myself including, which is something I"m working on. There's a lot of office workers and people on here who also spend a lot of time boozing hard, chasing women in clubs all night and getting high.
Anyway, I have to go to bed, early wake up tomorrow. I just started a 3 week job where I'll net about 4 Gs each week that will pay for my upcoming 3 month stint in Colombia. Have fun at the office boys!
God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

I have a single black v-neck that I have in a rotation of a variety of coloured v-necks that all generally fit the same. I'll just grab one and put on some jeans with it and head to the club.
I've only worn it twice, because I remember the nights I wore a black v-neck exactly. One of them was one where I had 5-6 different makeouts (the most I've ever gotten in a night) and got close to pulling a girl to a bathroom. The other I had more success than usual with my approaches, gave my number away as opposed to taking them and had 3 girls text me (one of which I went out with later) and had another girl tell me I smelled like sex appeal.
Of course this could just be coincidence and there might be nothing to do with the colour of the shirt I wore being black. But maybe it's another factor, such as how black colour goes well with a certain skin tone (I'm moderately tanned).
Science:
Red makes people more attractive, both guys and girls, wearing red will make the opposite sex more attracted to you, google it if you doubt.
What I think:
Guys wearing black Ts have a socially taught 'bad boy' image or at least a very good connotation in many forms (strong confident guy), plus black makes your body look better imo.
Go the black t shirts!

For sure, a lot of it has to do with poor upbringing and lack of education. Most blue collar types do not go to college and are never exposed to deep critical thinking nor are they exposed to the slutty environment upon which most college girls get corrupted by. These blue collar types then meet a girl and are unaware of:
1. How fucked up these chicks really are.
2. How the laws in this country work.
Although most college guys are brainwashed, if you notice most of the top posters on this board are college educated for a reason. We were exposed to Socrates, who taught to question things, and that's pretty much the reason why we end up showing the light to others.
I'm not saying everyone who reads Socrates will be red-pill, not by a long shot. But the guys who are exposed to critical thinking will still be more likely to avoid being fleeced by the system.
Blue-collar guys, despite their natural game, still get blindsided by things they aren't aware of. Also, blue-collar guys tend to have an individualist invincibility mindset ("I do what a want, when I want, bitches"), which is great for getting laid, but not so great for dealing with the laws and customs of America.
