Pic is a good idea, providing it's commensurate with your style of dress on the night, or at the very least, a great pic of you...but I think the OP already mentioned his/her name.

Personally, I would never send a pic to answer that question. Immediately puts you on the back foot. She's likely to be with her friends when she sends that, and unless your incredibly attractive, you'll get blown off, probably heckled as well by her friends.

What I normally do is two things - and it completely depends on the girl. The truth is it's usually only the low quality girls or major clobbers who get drunk off their tits that doesn't remember the morning after. So I'd usually say something like

"Do you not remember what you done yesterday?! So you don't remember hitting the bouncer?"

She will always reply confused. Follow up with telling her it was a joke and then NOW you have a conversation to work with.

The second way is if she is a bit higher quality- normally more intelligent than the first type. In which case I would message something like "oh, so you really took that many guys numbers that you forgot who I am?"

Exactly, which from that, you can lead on with "I was only joking...". At this point I don't care if I offend as it's an intro message, she is more likely to reply to a controversial message than a standard one. If she IS hot then she probably did get approached by a few guys anyway, in which case she will be on the defensive as she knows she took/gave away her number more than she should have, making her want to be more exclusive. Easy way in.
