I'm thinking about doing my first test cycle and can get access to Testosterone Enanthete (will also use an anti-estrogen).

Anyone have experience with this type?

Also, I understand that blood work should be done in the lead up, which from my research is to include the following:

Total Test
Free Test
Estradiol
LH/FSH/SHBG
HDL
LDL

Should I be asking my doc to screen for anything else?

He did not say anything about kicking me off, he just said that it's POSSIBLE that my low T could have been due to the fact that I was pretty overweight (in obese2 category) and/or sleep apnea.
His argument for apnea was that my red blood cell count has increased and it could be a sign that I don't get enough oxygen during sleep.

Honestly, if I find out that my T level are moving back to normal range because of my changed lifestyle, I'll be happy as shit to stop doing injections!

And to answer your question, I am on cyp.

OK, so guys on HRT what are you doing about your balls?

I'm on HRT with about 750 TT.

Just had a semen analysis and there were no sperm!

So one day I'd like to have kids, and I don't want to be permantently spermless.

Anyone else experience something similar?

Yep, that happens. In the presence of exogenous testosterone, you quit producing LH which signals your testes to produce testosterone. No LH, no natural test production.

Look up PCT by Dr Michael Scally.

It involves the use of HCG and Clomid to restore your function. The HCG is used as a substitute for LH, and signals your testes to come back online. After you are off the test entirely, you switch to the Clomid to tell your HPTA to produce its own LH.

The longer you are suppressed, the harder it is to come back. Some guys run HCG during their HRT to keep the balls on standby, but there is some concern that the HCG desensitizes your testes to LH.

If you want kids, come off the gear, get your sperm going, and freeze some. If you're on HRT there's no telling how many times you can bring your natural production back.

I'm on biweekly test injections but want kids in a couple of years. Before I started, I froze some semen at a bank in Arizona. And even with that I run just enough HCG to keep my balls in good shape (don't want them turning to raisins) and working. Also, use Aromasin.

HCG 250 IU twice per week right after 125 mg dose of test.

The AI was the difficult thing to control. Now I have the perfect dosage for me 6.25 mg of Aromasin per day. My E2 was 109 at one point. My prolactin level is within normal limits.

There have been some posts recently that suggest some guys on testosterone don't know as much as they should and some of the most knowledgeable forum members on this topic are not posting much in this thread. I've discussed this with several forum members who agree.

Hormones aren't something to play around with and unfortunately most doctors are idiots when it comes to TRT. For example, this is a good post from the t-nation forums and the abbreviations section includes "idiot - see doctor". MikeCF also talks about this in one of his podcasts.

I think there are two good options. One option is to use a well know doctor who specializes in TRT such as Defy Medical or Dr. John Crisler.

Another option is to be your own doctor but it requires more research than most guys seem to realize hence some of the odd questions and comments that sometimes come up in this thread. There are many good resources where guys can learn more about this topic. I've listed a few below. I am not affiliated with anyone or any website I'm linking to in this post.

I posted a while back that I'm running a low dose testosterone course - more like test replacement therapy as I'm planning to stay on it for the foreseeable future. It's been good to me so far. Here's some comparisons of the main blood test readings - one back in July, pre-TRT, the second a few weeks back ago running test for about 5-6 months (started September). For clarity I'm 28, 6ft2, approx. 92kg, 15% BF (guess). I've had the blood tests privately through medi-checks and self prescribed the testosterone which I get through a reliable gym rat. I jab every 3 days - 150mg test every 6 days in total.





Overall I feel good mentally - better mood, generally sharper, clear mind. Not a drastic change from before TRT but noticeable. I definitely have more energy. Physically I have stayed in good shape without having put in a fantastic gym performance recently due to a heavy workload - excuses excuses but changing that soon. If I neglected the gym before by body would soon show it. My diet is always pretty good but no way near perfect. I'm happy with the results and will continue with this, possibly upping the dose to 200mg/6 days now I can start really hitting the gym hard.

Negatives - biggest (or smallest..) is that it has shrunk my balls a little. Ok with current girls but it's definitely in the back of my head with any new girls! I started HCG 3 weeks ago to try and counter this but not seen any results yet. Also my red blood cell readings were already at the higher end of the safe level before starting and have increased since, still below the upper limit though. Have given blood to keep it down and will continue to do so as much as is allowed. Absolutely no increase in acne, though I take Accutane so that helps a lot. No hair loss but didn't think it would be an issue anyway and actually have a lot more body hair than before.

I had never taken any sort of testosterone before, and did it because I was feeling a bit down. I had just arrived in Medellin, Colombia and was walking around unhappy after only 2 days. I couldn't figure out why I was beginning a 3 month vacation in PartyTimeLand, yet I wasn't happy and had no drive to go do anything interesting.

So I remembered this thread and stopped at the farmacia and bought some Androgel. No prescription down there. They were like $2.25 each. The pharmacy girl told me to rub it on my belly once a day. I thought a boost of test might bring up my spirits. I got back to the hotel and rubbed it on my stomach dubiously thinking, "This shit ain't gonna do anything."

Within 30 minutes I felt like a goddamn rockstar. I was suddenly full of energy and excited as hell to be on vacation. I got down and did a bunch of pushups between packing my bag to go get on a bus. And that was my mistake taking it before a bus trip. I got on an 8 hour bus ride to Pereira and I was antsy in my seat the whole way. I wanted to get down into the aisle and do pushups the entire ride. I was grinning the whole way and my mental slump was gone. I felt like I was 20 again.

But that is some miracle shit for me. I took it the whole time I was in Colombia and was happy I found the stuff. I don't know that it will do the same for everyone, especially if you're young. But it made me feel like a billion pesos. I don't use it now that I'm back in the States because dumb laws and shit.

I don't think the stuff is for getting buff, but if you've hit middle age and feel like your mind is in a rut, then check that stuff out. Maybe you just need a T boost.

I have no experience with the legal route but did search a fair bit when I was looking at starting TRT - seems there I quite a few London based private clinics. Just google private testosterone replacement London. Their fees are steep though, with a big chunk up front just for the initial consultation and blood test, without any guarantee you'll get prescribed test afterwards. One clinic had the blood test cost at around £500! I'd get one done yourself through medi-checks, they do one at around £100 that covers a lot of important health markers. At least then you know where you stand and if it's likely you'll get a script from the clinic. If not you might need to do what I did and self prescribe/medicate.

I started the TRT a month ago. I was doing a quick visit to Colombia and decided to ask in a drugs store and ended buying the 4 enanthate boxes left.

However something weird happened to me. During the second week and third, I was feeling a little sleepy and later I had problems banging my last girl in Peru. When I came back home, I checked the estradiol and was fine. The testosterone went from 420 ng/dl to 700. So technically speaking it was right.

It was until yesterday that I woke up feeling great and my bed sheets looked like a circus tent. Went jogging and felt full of energy. I don't know if anybody else experienced weird sympthoms the first days of the treatment?
