You don't go see a doctor about TRT. You see a endocrinologist

RE: Testosterone injections
I have such a mixed opinion on it.

I'm pretty much on TRT for life at this point. You get serious about the bodybuilding thing, and you realize that PCT is pretty much a waste of your time on the planet. I mean, you invest time, effort and money into yourself while you're on cycle, and then come off and lose quite a bit of what you gained (because of the crash and the sides from your PCT drugs of choice) and you start doing a cost/benefit analysis.

Is it worth it to cycle? Or blast and cruise because you're going to be on TRT eventually anyway.

I see my dad at 52, and while he's in great shape and looks good for his age, he lacks that raw power that comes from having high testosterone. It's like comparing Mr Rogers to Stone Cold Steve Austin.

I know when I'm 50, I want to be a stone cold. So therefore, TRT may have always been the end result, and I'm just ahead of the curve.

So you are not concerned about having prostate problems when you get older? Prostate cancer is through the roof these days, I don't know what the cause is.

Video RE: Testosterone injections
I got my blood results back from the doctor today, I appear to be on the low side of normal for my age group - I'm 39.

I was disappointed to be told that free T is only calculated if total T and SHBG are abnormal, looks like I'll need to arrange a blood test privately to get my free T levels.

Total T is 18.2 nmol/L
SHBG is 31 nmol/L

Any thoughts on these numbers or are they pretty meaningless without knowing free T levels?

My doc wasn't able to provide any helpful advice.

Nothing is guaranteed but you can also take a low dose of cialis to reduce the chances of getting prostate problems before you actually get any.

So you can take Cialis and walk around with super boners like a fifteen year old all day and fight prostate cancer at the same time? I'm sold!

The Testosterone apparently is not related to the prostate cancer, but the estogens produced during the process, IF you have the predisposition (so you will get it anyway in the future). That is why you take anti-aromatase. Actually prostate cancer is more related to low testosterone!!!

Take a look a this video, specially at minute 11:23, but don't miss the rest.

I've been on a low dose of test for about 6 months + taking HCG to keep my balls going. Problem is in 3 weeks I will start a 3 month trip in Miami (5 nights), then Cuba for the same time, then a week in Panama then finally a 5 night boat trip to Cartagena. As I don't have a prescription I don't think it would be a good idea to take anything with me to the States except maybe syringes. I want to continue running the TRT if possible, worried just stopping would fuck me up mentally and physically.

I guess my only options are ether to buy the test in Miami and take it with me from there onwards, risking customs finding it on the Havana to Panama flight (Miami to Cuba + Panama to Colombia will be by boat). Or second option is to take a 22 night 'break' without injecting, then continue as normal once I reach Colombia and can buy it easily and am not moving around as much (will be staying 1 month min.)

Take a long acting test like Nebido, or test undecanoate. It should last 5-9 weeks. It's not available in the US but available in many other countries. It is available in Panama at LWP.

I am just about to start my first cycle soon but might consider seing a doctor first to see if im eligible for TRT.

I don't get it. You are using TRT and cycle in the same sentence.

TRT is something you do continously, to maintain your test levels in a optimum range, precisely to avoid the symptoms of low libido, low energy, lack of concentration, etc. There is no need to stop it, unless you want to have kids.

Cycling is used mostly in sports where test is injected with other steroids for a period of time, going way beyond the normal limits, to increase muscle mass, endurance, fat loss etc. The purpose of finishing the cycle is to recover testicle functionality, clean fatty liver, and avoid some other minor side efects. Doctors in most countries will not prescribe for that....

Huh

RE: Testosterone injections
My testosterone tested at 377 ng/dl, at the low end of the range.

Didn't have good sleep for the past week (some smashing sleepovers) and tested after breakfast, two hours after waking.

Is there a beginners article on supplementing you can recommend?

What I found is 377 ng/dl is on the level of a guy above 70....

During this period you will be shut down so go to talk to your doctor and get bw. The results will show you are shut down and then he can prescribe TRT. Keep in mind though, when I did my first blast, 500mg test e with 500iu HCG a week, I don't think my body actually shut down according to my balls and bw.

You should really do more research though.

Were you running an AI as well? Pretty sure at 500mg/week your E2 would be through the roof.

I was reading that the limiting factor once the exogenous testosterone is discontinued is testicular atrophy. LH levels begin to correct rather quickly (within a few weeks), however the testes being weak do not respond. The HCG would mitigate this factor.

RE: Testosterone injections
I was running it with arimidex up until I did my mid cycle blood work. Then after the mid cycle blood work I stopped taking arimidex just to see what would happen. My E2 did go up a bit because I was getting more bloated (this could have been avoided by just controlling sodium) but I'll know for next time to use it throughout. I stopped taking arimidex after mid cycle blood work because I wanted to see what would happen if I had less drugs in my body. I had a few experienced users tell me having less drugs in your body is better. Arimidex is also a drug with it's own set of sides so that is the reasoning.

I will be using aromasin instead of arimidex, just to try it on my next cycle.

Just going off of how I felt, my balls did not shrink at all and I don't feel like I was shut off at any point during any point of my cycle. I didn't even feel like I needed to run a PCT protocol because I didn't feel shut off. Of course I did run PCT just to be safe but from my experience, a 500mg cycle is a very conservative cycle that will give you great results if you eat, sleep, and train properly.

On the scale I would say I put 10 to 15 pounds of muscle on. 30 pounds total from the bloating.

I was running HCG throughout so that might be why I felt this way throughout my cycle and during PCT.

If I were to run a stronger compound then I'm 100% certain that I would shut down. I met a guy who was cycling and saw him piss and his balls looked like grapes.

This is the protocol I followed to a T:
http://forums.steroid.com/anabolic-stero...cycle.html

Lots of good information on there and by that poster on that forum specifically. He explains things such as AI, HCG, etc.

500mg you may not even need an AI. Everyone aromatizes differently.

At 600mg a week my e2 is still close to normal. No gyno ever.

Yup. This is what I was feeling, no feeling of gyno at all. For my post above, the only reason I was bloating was because I was bulking and getting in as many calories as I could so there was more sodium than normal in my diet. I shouldn't have said my E2 went up a bit. I should have checked what my blood work was before posting that.

From what I understand from the link I posted above (it's been a while since I reviewed it so I may be wrong), is that running a AI along side a cycle like the one I did above is just precautionary.

At 250 mg a week I can feel my nipples sensitive already, Dodgy

I doesn't help that i already had puffy nipples and a little bit of gyno from my puberty.

I'm using tamoxifen 10-20 mg a day to see if diminishes otherwise i'll start using anastrozole

You can try the herbal stuff or vitamins, or more healthy fats.

The problem is, you might go from like a 400 to a 500. We're not talking huge changes here. Im not a huge believer in the ability of anything to boost test in a well fed, well rested and active person.

All that stuff costs money too. Or you could run 300mg of test for pennies and get the job done.
