Thanks. I get cortisone injections periodically in my shoulder, but always looking for something else.

RE: TESTOSTERONE injections
3 weeks in and I'm starting to feel the test kick in. Went to the gym yesterday morning. Went to MMA practice in the evening. I don't feel sore, tired or in pain at all. Today I had a brutal 8 hour work day. Not only did I manage to keep my cool throughout the day, I was more productive than I've ever been in a while. Then came home and had an epic fuck session. Thinking if I should go work out on top of all this, or not.

I took a total testosterone count to determine if my gear was legit or not. The reference values for the lab were between 280 and 1000, and my result came back ">1600", with 1600 being the highest value they could measure.

I've also noticed that my voice started to get deeper and louder.

Nice, your levels might level out a bit since after only 3 weeks your body may still be making its own test.

Am I the only one who notices that being less stressed and relaxed deepens the voice? Also, a question for you, have you noticed an increase rate of facial hair?

Nice, the Thing, this is on 500mg/wk test E? How did you calculate that doasage?

More or less yes, I do 1ml of 250mg/ml oil every Monday and Thursday.

Might be more like 600mg 'ish since I always pull a little extra bit of oil for good measure.

Assuming the oil isn't cut down of course.

The supplier has a lot of good reviews so I'm assuming it isn't cut down.

I talked to a place about TRT, mentioned previous lab results. They asked if the previous lab results were from Quest Diagnostics or LabCorps. Apparently, they have two different scales for measuring your levels. Anyone else ever been told this?

Interesting, apparently they use different reference standards for some tests: check out this thread https://forums.t-nation.com/t/labcorp-or.../131356/10

RE: Testosterone injections
Just got tested. Total S-Testosterone was 19 nmol/L (548 ng/dL). Just the wrong side of average from what I gather (I'm 24 y/o). Awaiting further blood results, had them done this morning so was surprised that the T results came back so quickly.

Per correspondence with the Thing (really helpful bro) I'm contemplating starting 150 mg test cyp/week to get into optimal 'natural' range.

Primarily after the cognitive/energy effects of optimal T levels. I'm in the gym 4-5 days a week already.

My nipples started itching and I began to feel like I was PMSing, so I went on 0.5mg Arimidex every day and it seems to have fixed the problem.

RE: Testosterone injections
I have been on (mildly) supraphysiological doses of exogenous testosterone, I disliked it, my brain's regulation of sexual function didn't seem congruent with the sudden rise in testosterone levels, I would get sudden erections, but still had no great interest, my overall health was not good at the time. Currently I maintain supraphysiological doses endogenously, and things are spectacular, I am young though. My levels before taking exogenous test were terrible, but it was not a primary problem with the testicles, rather a fairly overarching dysregulation of the metabolism, in a way I suspect is not uncommon.

I would still prefer exogenous test over very low levels.

Just do not take arimidex for too long. It can kill your libido by lowering your E levels .

I'm now on the TRT wagon.

I'll report my experiences with this treatment when I see improvements on my well being.

RE: Testosterone injections
So today I went to my primary doc to get a referral to see an endo doc for TRT. He refused. He said my tot test level of 361 is not low and went on and on about the harmful effects of TRT (heart attacks, cancer, etc.). He said for my age (46) the 361 level is fine. And my levels will get higher the more weight I lose. I told him when I was 317lbs my tot test was 325 and now at 225-230lbs its at 361. The doc said a low count would be 180. So he didn't budge and wouldn't refer me to another doc. I'm so pissed. Does anyone know a TRT clinic in the DC area I can go to instead of this quack?

You're on 500 mg/wk of test?

The standard starting dose is 100 mg/wk, and very few guys go up to 200. You're on a cycling dose - way too much and way too aggressive. Now you're feeling the effects of itchy nipples. What's happening is your test is probably over 2000+ and because of that, your E2 climbed way too high causing the itchy nipples and feeling like PMSing. And now you're taking 3.5 mg of Arimidex a week... too much anastrozole.

I would back it off to 100 mg/wk and take no more than 1 mg of Arimidex per week, and give your body a few weeks to readjust to normal levels. Sorry to say, I'm not sure your doctor really understands what he's doing.

RE: Testosterone injections
Hi all.

Talk to me about sleep. Does test have an effect on recommended hours slept, in terms of muscle growth?

Specifically. I slept four hour today. I lifted last nite at around ten pm, new PRs all around. No DOMS (although when I went to do some pullups I really felt it, so I didn't push it). Can I get 5 hours of sleep, do 3 day splits, and still make gains? 5 day splits?

Try http://www.defymedical.com/.They are based in Florida however they offer rather affordable remote services. Dr Saya and Dr Crisler are both very knowledgeable. When you have a chance you can look them up on youtube if you're interested.

RE: Testosterone injections
The problems are medicolegal.

Not only am I a licensed physician, I know a lot about working out, and particularly the science of anabolic steroids, though have only heard about profiles and empirical knowledge having never used them.

If you are somewhat reasonable on the scale (you are) no doctor is going to get into "risk" --- not really because those things will happen (cardiac, cancer, etc. - they won't) but because other things may happen that are unrelated but can't be teased out (thanks "jury of peers"). It's also a social stigma problem reinforced by horrible journalism and the idea that T is "not necessary" in this feminized society, in general.

I personally would start with Longjack, just because of cost and paperwork/medical/legal issues ...

361 is never fine. If you find a TRT clinic, maybe I'll go with you. Menace might have some recommendations.
