I want to like this approach but my logistics are not condusive for it - live in suburbs and hang out / meet people in city center. Nor would I necessarily want my ONS's to know where I live. (edit: I usually take them to a hotel or we go to her place if she lives alone)
So here's my question - how would you - or could you - reframe this so you invite yourself for a drink at her place?

This is also a realistic conversion rate for a large city (NYC or similar) where people have a lot of options. I believe these numbers a lot more than when somebody claims that almost all his dates result in SNL.

This conversion rate is also the reason why guys should invest as little as possible in dates. Definitely no dinners or even expensive drinks. Zero date bangs are a great way to minimize cost per date given how flakey girls are these days.

Is there a good way to improve "we banged/girl came to my place" rate? I find it difficult to improve and it's frustrating when a girl comes over but then just decides to bounce at some point when I try to escalate. I wonder if it just goes with the territory when you run date 1 or date 0 bang recipes? For example, according to experienced daygamers like Krauser, the "bang/approach" rate is in the mid/low single digits even for the best daygamers in the world unless they "date down" significantly in terms of looks. I'm surprised no one mentioned Paul Janka. "Zero date bangs" were what he was known for and this was a long time ago. I still prefer Tuthmosis's Recipe for first date bangs. Zero date bangs are a good way to screen for dtf girls and are good if you approach(lots) and get lots of numbers. If you are someone who only does like 2 approaches a day(or less) then I would stick with tuth's recipe. Both are useful tools to have.

I agree. Inviting girls over to have dinner has been my main strategy in 2014 and it worked wonders. Having good text game makes it a lot easier. Paul Janka's come up twice in this thread. I'll note that his Zero Date Bang model isn't really Zero Date Bang - he goes up to a woman and invites her back in the same cold approach. He's openly asking her if she wants to go back to his apartment a few minutes after saying hi.

Blurred's model still involves the cold approach, building rapport, etc. It's not a Hail Mary pass from the other end of the field. It's just the 'date' takes place at home and feels informal.

Seeing this post is 2 years old, but I love it. At the same time, I don't want to run everything at my place only... I do like going out to different places. Right now I'm doing some recon in my neighborhood to see what are good bars and lounges for dates, and for meeting girls.

If a girl says she rather meet in public, why not just name a place near where you live and say meet me there at X time? or like another poster said, meet at your place first, then go somewhere else and maybe bring her back. I just wouldn't go to fancy places and blow $200 on a first date that may not pan out.

My point being I don't have a problem meeting in public places first. My logistics are very good in a car-centric city where I live.

What's been working for me is to tease and build comfort/trust over text and then simply hit her with a variation of this: "So I have a bottle of red wine that I'm itching to try. How about we do vino at 8 pm, your place " No question mark.

You should suss out if she likes white or red beforehand. Some girls balk or don't reply (let the convo die and wait until she restarts) and some girls bite.
