There is a private forum so to speak already on this forum and that is the private messaging feature and meet ups, which I think works well.

From both posting and reading other posts I have ended up exchanging messages that trade valuable information.

A nice feature would be a group private message where several people could be invited to a small message trail to share information on more detailed information that has a limited audience.

Ex) Russia Thread

Poster: Anyone that wants to see the photos of women I took from X city click this link to receive the PM group message.

That group PM acts as something anyone in it can respond to. I think the maximum is 2 right now? And it would be nice if you could link out a way to be auto-mailed the group PM as I previously stated.

I would vote for posting general stuff but selling specific information as a previous member mentioned. Most of us found this blog while searching places where to get laid in X city or something related.

Thus making it all private would stop it's growth and turn into a "us" (seniors) versus "you" (newbies) divide.

This is a great idea. It would avoid all of the disadvantages of creating a private sub forum which Roosh mentioned. However it would also encourage lurkers to at least create an account so that they can see whats going on and encourage members to put up more pictures of girls, clubs etc which would be cool.

Wow this is such a touchy subject.i would say to keep the data to yourself if you feel that releasing it would cause the areas to be ruined.
You know especially how much traffic your site pulls in in comparison the the amount of post people make.
We all know that the second a opener is posted in the online dating thread..thousand of guys may go off using it.

Personally..I think my cities charleston thread could be updated. But between the players I have met in charleston..we don't wanna put our secret spots out jut yet because charleston is already overrun buy tourist. There's so many gems here that are already getting overrun by bachelorette and bachelor parties that it isn't even funny anymore.

That being said...those locations you listed probably not get a boatload of travelers to begin with
How many forum members are actually out forging paths in the FSU ?
How many simply read and dream of it?

Would the information in the data sheets really cause a spike in people coming to the locations? Or would it simply be filler information for the most of us to enjoy as reading material?

This is a difficult issue since most of us want to help with openers and such. I saw one case where a member gave his opener as a freebie on a thread and a day or two later a girl on POF told him she read it already a day or two before. Most of the time I want to help someone with an opener or approach I do it via PM.

Roosh as much as I'd love to have free access to all that info, the fact is, it's worth something.

Nothing wrong with charging for quality info. It cost you money to go and research these places after all.

3 dollars for a data sheet on a city? Boom sign me up.

10 datasheets?

It's your forum and your data...do whatever you want with it, but $3 for 10 datasheets is charity.

I'm not convinced making the intel public is going to ruin or oversaturate cities/venues, now or down the road.

Anyone shelling out the cash to visit said destinations that isn't willing to spend $10 for comprehensive data on ONE city doesn't deserve the info, IMO.

Looking forward to reading them, regardless.

Yes but less than 200 of my readers plan on immediately traveling to any of these 10 cities, I imagine. A super low price brings in guys who are just curious. In the end my earnings are about the same, but I put my work in more hands.

Making them free would surely bring more people to the forum, your work and subsequentially the red pill. (and perhaps also a few trolls).
Perhaps you should do a study on your site: Number of views and match it with number of books sold

Places and trends change. As soon as you bring out those data sheets, everybody should know that they have an expiration date (as far as venues are concerned). Only local culture remains.

I'm not sure if it's possible for documents that large, but you may be able to setup Google Alerts/authorship notifications for that content.

If you're concerned about doing damage to a bar/series of bars, charge for them.

Split. 1/2 as forum + blog posts

Second half as an e-book for a few bucks.

Now when you travel again you'll know with certainty if you should sell it as a book or do a dual post on the forum.

(Hint I doubt Toronto should be a paid for product since its basically going to be a shit show that no one wants to visit)

Notably I also agree if people can't pay three bucks to at least give you a tip for running this forum, these aren't guys you want posting here anyway. I would heavily lean to a cheap book.

Roosh - I'm definitely interested in Moldovan intel. I'm visiting Dubai again next year and just learned their low-cost airline - Flydubai - has flights to Chisinau and other EE spots. I've flown with them before to Beirut from Dubai so I am definitely going to take advantage and make time for an EE trip. Totally feasible for me.

Just make post attachments only viewable by people when they login and put the venue specific info in a text file attachment. That combined with the once a month signups is anti-viral enough prevent the milliclub effect happening. RoK is very popular and it's articles are very easy to share. If people have to jump through the most minor of hoops to see info, you'll drop off %90 of the lurkers. The people who can post feedback in the thread can still view it. It's also zero effort for roosh to set up.

How much of actual forum post content has ever gone really viral? You can still expound on culture and so on in the actual post.

What if you posted some portions of the data sheet that would be like the intro and then if people really wanted more info they could buy that one data sheet or the set.

Many websites, even newspapers give you a tease and then if you want to read more you need to sign up or pay.

Sometimes when I am researching stuff I can see the synopsis (like one paragraph) for free but gotta pay to get the detailed report.

I am a big fan of the forum and what you started. I think you should get something for your efforts, but I always do appreciate free.

But this suggestion allows you to give something to people on the forum and then for those that really want the juicy details - they have to pay. Similar to many games these days, they will let you play for free but if you want the uber gun or whatever you need to drop some coins.

I see this being a compromise solution that gives something to everyone. I mean if some guy is gonna fly thousands of miles - he won't pay a buck for the sheet for the city he is going to?

Maybe a system where non-members can only view a certain (low) number of posts/threads per day?

Should decrease the amount of leeching, but still bring in the people who besides being truly interested can make a difference and give back as well.

I was thinking about this more, and I think Roosh should just post the datasheets as usual, in the forum.

His datasheets are excellent, but other members also produce great datasheets, and no one seems concerned that they are posting their datasheets.

The question is more a broader "Should datasheets be public in the forum?" and generally it seems people are fine with that, so Roosh's datasheets should fall into that category as well.

If you put a sheet on ROK entitled "easiest place to get laid ever", then you're going to attract attention.

Look at 20nation's map. It basically highlights all the easiest places to get laid, and that's one of the most viral things to come out of the forum.

Good intel gets around anyway. Unless we all collectively stop reporting on places, shit is going to get discovered.

If you do make a paid product out of them, I think it would be good to have an over the top title like "the eternal sheets" or perhaps "the quran of datasheets: love tourist scriptures".

I think I have a solution.

What about having a button when posting so just like you can have a word, bold, italic, hyperlink, etc, you can also make the word "private", where only members with 5 rep points or 100 posts as an example have access to read the word. Then you could write a datsheet the same way but block out certain venue names for instance if you don't want the entire world to know it.


Could also do a "hyperlink" for photos of chicks, apartments, etc where the only ones who can access the photos are same members as mentioned above. When you upload the photo you have a choice of "public" or "verified member" or something to that affect.

This would keep the forums public but allow individual members who contribute and all have varying levels of concern about privacy have a little more control about who sees what.
