RE: The Asian Guy Travel Thread
Bumping this thread.

Booked my 2 weeks September trip to Colombia. Pipelining is yielding positive results so far. I get positive comments on my looks and I've had a few who asked about my height. One told me I was so short lol. Then was relieved to find out it was just a wrong conversion from feet to cm. I'm 5'11.

Now for my 2 weeks October trip. I still haven't decided between Krakow - Wroclaw/Poznan and Kiev. With Moscow/st Petersburg as a 3rd option.

Poland - high shields now due to girls getting used to influx of PUAs? Tinder: I matched with less women compared to Kiev and among my few matches none replied to my messages. Lol. Might be a different story when I hit the ground. But due to the costs involved, im trying to do as much due diligence as I can.

Kiev - I get more matches in Tinder. Several have replied, although they stopped replying after they found out I'm in the US. After a couple of those scenarios, I stopped replying t to others and I'll just message them when im there. Based from what I've read here, they might be easy to take out on a date, but closing the deal is very tough - if you are even successful.

This might be a redundant question/dilemma, so I'd appreciate if someone could further share insights on this. Not sure if Poland is overhyped or Kiev is a bit underhyped due to some guys who went there with false expectations. Not looking for 20 bangs, just 1-2 and I'd say it's worth the trip. Smile Anyone been there recently on a short trip (<1 month) and had any success - not just dating but actually closing the deal. Would appreciate hearing from y'all. Thanks.

From what I have heard the locals do not really like tourists. And the tourists could be from anywhere.

I am planning to visit most of Europe (I am from the UK) and finding the best spots. I am willing to invest a lot of time into doing this when I am on my holidays away from work.

Had a bad experience in 2012. Visited Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Ibiza, Sevilla, and Rota.

In Barcelona I was racially profiled by the bouncers while waiting to go into a club just like in Madrid. Yes this also happened in Madrid but only at the exclusively locals clubs. He told me to stand aside because I was asian. Others in line, mostly Spanish and Catalan locals, proceeded to make fun of me calling me chino etc... I was a bit shocked but just kept my mouth shut. After about 10 minutes the bouncer let me in. I don't know why I didn't leave.

In the club girls were warm to my approach because I was asian but I was definitely a clown for their entertainment. Pretty rough experience. Had a married asian buddy who was also studying there who got straight up rejected during dance lessons when partners would swap. The spanish men had no qualms about dancing with his decent looking asian wife but some spanish chicks straight up refused to dance with him and instead waited out the round standing there with their arms crossed.

Also almost got mugged when we first arrived by a sketchy ass local dude. Not going to Barcelona again unless you're paying me to go there. The architecture is pretty though. I never went to the beach because I was so fed up with the vibe.

From my personal experience as an Asian-American dude, I didn't like Spain either. Over 10 years ago, I was in Madrid with my Asian-American buddy for a few days. We were doing a 2 week trip through Europe. On the metro, teenagers were calling us "chino, chino". Didn't see any other Asian people until at night...where Asians were standing on sidewalks selling sandwiches to drunkards. I think at that time, the experience Spaniards had with Asians were seeing them as poor street food vendors. But yeah, generally I do feel that Spaniards see Asians in a very negative light. Heck I feel Italians are less racist against Asians than Spaniards. But these are all my personal experiences so each person's miles may vary. If you're an Asian-American dude who's physically in decent shape, out-going personality, sense of style, and decent-looking, you'll do well in Europe, in general. Better than the US I can tell you that. I find that I do well usually with Germans and Eastern Europeans. Maybe those countries are the ones you need to target on your next trip to Europe.

Yeah the only asians I saw outside Madrid were those guys selling beer on the street at night. Cheapest beers by the can for 1 euro. Their tag line was "cerveza? cerveza?" I had a good chuckle with a hostel group when I bought a six pack and offered to them with the same line.

Yeah try face control in parts of Eastern Europe where they wouldn't let you in period. Least you got entry.

I've banged gals in the Spanish speaking world after they originally gave me the slanted eye gesture.

You need to stop taking yourself so seriously; as Roosh says..I don't care if they're laughing at or pitying me..if I get laid, that's all that counts.

People in Spanish speaking countries including many parts of Latam can be very politically incorrect. It's the way they are but are cool once you get to know them. I remember this one Spanish milf who'd make fun of the Korean students at my language school...yet still all befriend them at the same time.

At times, it can get annoying & that's especially if you're not in the mood. I even get called "chinito" by Mexicans at gas stations or say McDonald's when walking past them here in Texas.

I went to Madrid in 2010 alone & had a great time despite getting very sick. Women were very beautiful & receptive

In 2012, I traveled to both Madrid and Barcelona though with my older sister. We couldn't say enough good things about Madrid & the friendly people. Even got some heavy foreplay in the cab on way home. It was a near lay ruined by last minute resistance in front of my Airbnb...what's hilarious is even my sister mocked me for not sealing the deal.

Most of the Chinese in Madrid are Fobby vendors but having great style & confidence is something Spanish locals can sense. My sister & I observed Asian locals in Madrid seemed much happier than ones in Barca whom seemed miserable through our interactions.

My only reservation against going back to Madrid is I hear the quality of women decreases by the year. More women whom don't take as good care of themselves & the trend towards casual flats instead of heels. I noticed the difference between 2010 and 2012 though population may have diluted during the 2nd visit which happened around Christmas.

People in Barca just hate visitors in general as 90% of the city was some lame ass tourist trap. I know people who love Barca just to exclusively game tourists. I'd rather go to a destination with a much cooler local scene that happens to have many DTF tourists which I can list outside of Barca. I'd even consider Madrid as having higher quality female tourists albeit not at the quantity of Barca. If I'm put off by the lameness of my immediate environment, that negativity will just gravitate towards the interaction with female visitors who can sense that too.

RE: The Asian Guy Travel Thread
I'm in Barcelona right now.

I'm usually not a big fan of gaming tourists (why travel all the way to not taste the local favors) but since there are so many here in the city and locals have the reputation of being reserved Im gonna give it a try.
Regarding Asian I think the smart asians tend to flock to Madrid, those that work in big companies or own their own trading businesses, for example. whereas the ones who open a shop, or resto who aren't that educated are in barcelona. you can also make money in Barcelona as there are so many tourists everyday.

Also the asians in Barcelona tend to be from south east Asia mostly and the reason they have lower image is that they work in lower level jobs. Overall the city vibe feels more like Rio than a European capital.

Good points. I enjoy Rio exponentially more than Barca though has bigger safety issues.

Something to be said about not feeling apologetic for merely being a tourist.

Sup fellas, need some planning help. If you had two weeks in Eastern Europe, where would you go? I was thinking Moscow, Krakow, St. Petersburg but was wondering if it was worth it to squeeze in another country. Possibly Kiev or Budapest. Or skip St. Petersburg? Warsaw instead of Krakow?

Thanks, I haven't done much of daygame so mostly night game. I'm pretty much set on Moscow. Regarding Krakow in the summer, I thought since school starts in October, that would be a good time to go. Wikipedia says St. Petersburg averages around 40 degrees in October which isn't unbearable. Hopefully it's not too bad.

RE: The Asian Guy Travel Thread
What's up guys; long time lurker of this thread, new member to RVF, first post ever. First of all I want to say y'all inspire me, keep doing what you're doing and I'm glad to have found this community.

I went on my first bangcation this past summer to Thailand, and though it's long been established that SEA is pretty much easy mode, I figure updated intel is never a bad thing.

Thailand Trip Report
Background: Southern California Korean American, 5'11.5", 195 lbs at the time, muscular/B U L K Y build, slightly above average in looks but not enough to rely on to get pussy.
Length:24 days (17 days in Bangkok, 3 days in Phuket, 4 days in Cambodia as a side trip)
Logistics/Travel Style: AirBnB in Bangkok, Villa in Phuket, Guesthouse in Cambodia. Was alone for all but 6 days when my friends joined and we hung out in Bangkok/Phuket.

There's ample data on pick up hotspots in Bangkok, so instead of doing a breakdown of individual bars/clubs to go to, I'm just gonna talk about general trends and tips for Asian bros looking to smash without paying in Thailand. If you want more specifics feel free to PM me.

1. Only go to Western style clubs as a last resort.
Generally speaking, the more a club is catered toward Westerners, the more it's going to be infested with prostitutes. Insanity is one such place; the layout and music are familiar to what you're used to in the west, but there are pros all over the place and though amusing at first, after you get grabbed by the arm a dozen times and asked "Where U from hansummm," you'll get pretty tired of it. Not surprisingly, these places are most favored by white guys from North America/Europe and Australia because there are lots of other foreigners and they feel comfortable there. You should only go to these places when you've struck out at other venues and they've already closed down (2 AM is closing time for all the regular clubs). Still, I was 2 for 2 at Insanity in smashing non-working girls. These kinds of places are good to go by yourself because you can easily weave in and out of the crowd and it's less awkward to be there by yourself as opposed to the table-oriented Thai-style clubs.

2. The highest quality girls go to exclusively Thai clubs.
This is the main advantage of being an Asian guy in Thailand: whereas the white guys are pretty much limited to aforementioned whore-infested, low quality talent pools, as an Asian guy you'll be welcome and desired at places where real, local and HOT Thais go to party. Be prepared for a completely different style of clubbing, however, as Thai clubs are essentially just rows and rows of tables, sitting or standing, where groups of friends just hang out with each other (the one exception is Onyx, which is probably the hottest club in BKK right now but is very Vegas style with loudass EDM music; not a good place for pickup besides the smoking patio and the street right outside along RCA). For this reason I don't recommend going to these venues unless you are with a group of cool Asian gamers or locals. Granted, these girls are upper class, socially connected and highly educated, and conversely much harder to smash. But after plowing through numerous low quality sluts, I was more than happy to just meet cool, fun, interesting and English-speaking people at these "Thai" spots. During my whole trip, I only met one girl that I was genuinely interested in besides just smashing that I still keep in touch with, and I met her at one of these upper tier venues called BEAM.

Note: Love him or hate him, David Bond is a subject matter expert when it comes to smashing hoes in Thailand, and this article very accurately describes the reality of how different White and Westernized Asian guys' experiences are in Asia, specifically in Bangkok.

3. "Korean God Factor" is real.
Yes, it's awesome, and it helps you get laid. But it's been talked about ad naseum so let me just share two interesting thoughts on this:

First, Korean guys (from Korea) are catching up on this. While it was awesome and inspiring to see Korean bros from the homeland with sweet style and jacked physiques pull hotass Thai bitches (namely Onyx and Scratchdog), my prediction is that it won't be long before Korean men have a similar reputation as white men: horny sex tourists with a sense of entitlement that have no respect for the culture and just come to smash. I don't think it'll ever get quite as bad as the reputation that white guys have because Koreans are generally more respectful and polite, but I've noticed that they are becoming more Westernized by becoming more aggressive, muscular, and direct, which is AWESOME, but is probably gonna make things harder in the future for other Koreans. So if you're looking to benefit from the KGF, go sooner rather than later.

Second, while lots of Thais idolize Korean pop culture, from my observation being a high value Asian guy other than Korean is just as effective. This includes Westernized Asians as well as Asians from affluent countries like Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, etc. White guys strut like they are the hottest commodity in Thailand, but that couldn't be further from the truth. From talking to lots of locals and expats living there, the following is a rough order of preference for guys in the eyes of Thai girls:

1. Wealthy Thais (AKA upper class light-skinned Thai-Chinese)
2. Asians from "rich" countries AKA light skinded (Japan, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, even Vietnam to a certain extent, etc.) or Asians from the West
3. Wealthy White guys
3. Average Thai guys
4. Average White guys
-The following are only considered options by poor/lower class Thais-
5. Lower class/older/uglier/fatter White guys AKA sexpats
6. Above average Asians from poorer countries AKA Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, etc.
7. Poor Thais.

The bottom line is don't be discouraged if you're not Korean. Because honestly my 5'6" fairly dark-skinned Filipino friend from California probably got the most attention from girls out of our whole group because he just has a huge, charismatic personality and is pretty good looking. His being Filipino did not hurt him in any way.

Quick note for my Chinese brothers: nothing against the Middle Kingdom, but if you're looking to get laid you are going to want to strategically downplay your affiliation with mainland China. You can just tell them you're from another country like Taiwan or Singapore, or strongly emphasize your Western identity over your Chinese one, because despite the fact that Thailand has the largest population of ethnic Chinese outside of China (also the largest success story of Chinese assimilating and integrating into another culture as the vast majority of them self-identify as culturally Thai), the huge groups of tourists that come through have led to local Thais generally having a disdain for Chinese people. Just keep that in mind.

4. If you are Asian and want to get laid as easily as possible, go to Scratchdog.
One night myself and two buddies were just out drinking and catching up, and before we knew it it was already 3 AM. We got to the club and had 45 minutes before closing time. I looked at my friends and said "Let's get to work." We split up, started gaming individually, and saw each other back at our AirBnB; all three of us brought home a girl that night. It's just that kind of place.

5. Do NOT go to Phuket, unless you want to p4p.
It's disgusting, and after two days we were all exhausted from all the prostitutes, pushy street marketers and horny, rudeass Arab sex tourists.

Would I go back to Thailand? No, I came to the conclusion that I don't really find Thai girls that attractive. Am I glad I went? Absolutely. Aside from getting tons of pussy (9 total lays between Thailand and Cambodia...could have gotten more but I was pretty drained from going out every night lol), just going to Asia as an Asian American guy was hugely eye-opening in a lot of ways that are too complex to talk about in detail here. If I were to go back, here's

What I Would Do Differently Next Time:

1. Focus on quality, not quantity.
I went to Thailand with the goal of inserting my penis into as much vajayjay as humanly possible. While I definitely racked up my notch count, unfortunately this meant I was selling myself short by smashing way below my weight class and ended up doing everything from a 4 (in my eyes, probably a 6 in a white guy's eyes) to a few HB7s but nothing above that. I didn't connect with anyone I found truly attractive until the very end of my trip when I hung out with a girl I would consider an 8.5 or a 9 (smart, attractive, upper class, kind, not a gold digger, the whole package), and when I did I wished I spent more time meeting girls like her instead of nasty ass low quality sluts. Which leads to my next point:

2. More daygame.
I absolutely suck at daygame, and though I did get some practice (probably less than ten approaches...) I think I would have met a lot more quality chicks and made genuine connections if I had grabbed my balls and done more daytime approaches.

3. Spend more time in Cambodia.
I get that Cambodia is not on most people's radars for game, and understandably so, as the girls are definitely less attractive than other Asian countries, but I checked it out because my travel PUA idols, Neil Skywalker and Naughty Nomad, raved about how awesome it was for them. I've heard Phnom Penh (the capital, which is where I went) has become a lot more tame and less exciting, not to mention the big lake along which the craziest nightlife used to be has since been filled in to make space for more commercial development, but boy, those four days in Cambodia were the most fun I had on my entire trip to SEA. If you want more details on it let me know and I'll post a separate Cambodia report, but basically a lot of people say it's what BKK used to be in the past: a third world city where anything goes and nothing is impossible.

Well that's it for now, boys. Once again if you want more detailed recommendations I'll be more than happy to answer your PMs.

Good luck and game on!

RE: The Asian Guy Travel Thread
Great post ProfCumbledore! Repped. A lot of what you said matches what I experienced in SEA as a Korean guy. I too tried to avoid bars/clubs mostly catering to white people in BKK and had more success with Thais in the "local" clubs. I chanced upon this local club in Khao San Road but I forget the name. It's sort of in one of the smaller alleys, has 2-3 floors (no basement), has pool tables, and most of the clientele were locals. I had a blast there! I will have to check out ScratchDog next time I'm in BKK.

Thankfully, I don't think too many Korean players know how easy it is in Thailand yet. Most Korean men will be goin the p4p route.

I'd love to read your Cambodia report. I've never been and decided to go to Vietnam for my next vacay (which starts soon!) but I'm curious to read how you did in Cambodia.

Here's how I went from being a 21-year-old, videogame-addicted, Asian virgin to banging too many girls to count (no PUA bs):

There is no Korean god factor - it's all about being Chinese

You can bang 50+ 9s and 10s off Tinder a year if you're Chinese

Feel free to message the girls your banging, im sure we can trade pics of tinder sluts in BKK. Point is wealthy NEA countries kill in SEA locals, they could give two shits if your Korean, Japanese, etc.

WITH the exception of Indo Chinese, Thai Chinese, whatever mix Chinese etc who typically date only sino blood. Those same mixed blood girls are in the 7+ range compared to the meh local populace.

I've matched with D list celebrities, "models", miss universe contestants, etc. Not that it means I'm fucking them, as they are extremely difficult to put out, but at least I am still matching with them and got an angle to play.

RE: The Asian Guy Travel Thread
Meant to do this writeup, but was caught up with work.

This is based on a biz trip to Seoul from Aug-Sept 2017 for around 3 weeks. Prior to this trip, I had lived and worked in Korea for around 5 years but hadn’t been back in several years.

I guess there's nothing too eye opening to report here. Being an Asian guy, I did well with both foreign girls who were into Asians as well as Korean girls. Just wanted to give an update on the hotspots as of Aug/Sept 2017, since all of my personal favs had closed down since I was last there 2-3 years ago.

Hongdae and Itaewon are great for Asian dudes. Specifically, I hit up Thursday Party in both locations. I took home more girls from Itaewon but my favorite was a Brazilian I met at the Hongdae location. More foreign exchange students there, and more of the working professional type over in Itaewon.

On that note fellas, let me awares you on the ideal bodytype and image these chicks go for. See attached image. Boyishly cute face with a lean, muscled body. Don't look at me, I didn't make the rules, nor am I boyishly cute.

Hongdae Thursday Party is located near the kid's park by the school entrance. Cheap drinks, lively atmosphere with lots of games like beer pong and darts. I went solo and approached sets of 3 or 4 without any issues. Even when I go these places, I dressed well and I believe this was a key to them receiving me so well.

In Itaewon, the hotspot is Glam. It's behind Hamilton Hotel and in the same building as Prost. You need to dress well just to be allowed in. I've seen guys turned away because of their shoes so err on the side of caution. Ditch the Yeezys and go more loafers and/or dress shoes. Girls were more dressed to impress. I always went suited up minus the tie. If you're Asian, try going with an all black suit minus the tie, it seems to work quite well.

Itaewon TP was also a lot of fun but not when the GIs are fucking around. I checked it out first before going to Glam and enjoyed Glam more (better suited to my style). But saying that, girls here are all very open to being approached.

I set myself up near Seoul Station for quick access to Subway and to the airport and hit up Hongdae TP during the weekdays and Glam on the weekends.

Happy hunting fellas!

Great post, GyopoPlayboy. I am a Kor-Am gyopo as well and have been wondering what the scene is like in Seoul...tbh i'm not a huge fan of the korean female aesthetic (super pale, plastic surgery, etc.), but I've heard so much hype about it lately that I'll have to check it out myself soon.

Ah you must be referring to our world famous korean "plastic beauties" (Before/After shot below)

i'm over the whole nightclub scene in korea, but check out octagon's facebook photo feed to see the kinds of girls who go there.

the korean female aesthetic is wack. stay there too long and you kind of get conditioned into thinking it's not that bad, but on short business trips you start to see certain realities.

like how every girl seems to use the same plastic surgeon.

or how comically disproportionate their eyes are now compared to the rest of their small, dainty faces.

Mindblown3

Yeah...tbh I don't have an issue with plastic surgery as a principle when it comes to fixing minor imperfections here and there, but you know there's a serious societal problem when what's considered "normal" is actually grotesquely unnatural.

This is why I also have mixed feelings about K-Pop and K-dramas blowing up globally...these girls are in love with that huge eyes, sharp nose, pointy chin aesthetic, when 99% of those faces are the result of plastic surgery.

This is pretty accurate. I was just in Seoul this past weekend, and hit up Prost, Glam and Thursday Party solo. I think girls were harder to approach at Glam and Prost, but that might've been me drinking too much soju to game effectively, but quality was def better than TP. Pulled a Korean from TP the first night though, and I think my background as a Chinese-American def helped in Itaewon (where the foreigner-hunters go) because girls were interested in what a Chinese dude who grew up in the US was doing in Korea (makes me seem really international/like I travel a lot, which girls think is cool).

RE: The Asian Guy Travel Thread
Sorry if this has been written before as I haven't went through all 29 pages, but has any of y'all here been to either Romania or Russia and either daygamed or nightgamed there?

I've only been to Moscow in continental Europe, and as a tourist in a guided tour with my family, so didn't game at all, nor have I started gaming at that point. The quality there was impressive though, and some parts can be like being a kid in an (eye) candy store.

Not sure how receptive they are to Asian guys, as there are a lot of Central Asian guys who work in menial jobs in Moscow and you see them everywhere, nor do the massive number of older Chinese tourists herded around in group tours give off good impressions to locals in places like Red Square.

Romania seems to almost be a forgotten place on this forum as everybody focuses on the V4, Ukraine, and to a lesser extent Serbia and Russia for EE. I understand that Poland can be quite good for Asian guys.
