I think this is a testament to what we talk about: getting out there and trying to make something happen. The story is quite improbable. A Dutch guy travelled around the world on a shoestring budget, got back to Holland without seemingly any plans or job, hatched an idea to write a script, moved to LA to try and sell the script, and sold the script. Thousands of people chase this dream and never get far. Even if no movie ultimately results from this, it is an accomplishment to be proud of.

Neil if this ever gets greenlit, you should insist on a cameo role in the movie (and a credit).

I agree, this should really be an inspiration to everyone here at the RVF to keep pushing and getting your hustle on. Neil made this happen with nothing but balls, hard work and determination. Mad props to him.

Also, if there's going to be a Neil cameo in the film, we should try to get Roosh to appear as well, maybe as fellow traveler or a random AMOG.

Note that it's being developed as a comedy. Don't expect a redpill portrayal. In the Hollywood ending Neil breaks down, realize the errors of his ways and marries his high-school sweetheart.

Still, this is pretty damn impress. I'm hoping this will get produced.

I'm going to admit, when I first read you were trying to sell a movie script, I immediately thought "Is he dreaming? He'll never do it. What a waste of time."

This is actually motivating me to get off my ass and stop watching Californication now.

But seriously, congrats to Neil. I admit like some others, I was like, no way, does this dude know what he's in for? Just coming to Hollywood and writing a script on the fly and having it go somewhere? Hundreds of people do this every single day and most of them go home with their tail between their legs, dreams broken and battered. One of my boys has been trying for years now to get his scripts in front of someone to no avail. I didn't want to say any of this to Neil upfront when he was first floating the idea because I figured it's worth a try and I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade. That he managed to get this far is amazing and inspiring. If you're determined to get shit done it can happen!
