Ok, guys, before you go seeking help from someone the very least you should do is educate yourself. If you have not taken the time to read a good amount of the information on here, if you haven't taken the time to read any books, then you are simply uneducated and you deserve the results you are getting. I personally read about two pickup/game related books per month plus I read a lot of the threads on here. I also subscribe to a bunch of other sites and feeds. In all I spend at least 8 hrs per week just reading stuff.

A mentor can help you but you also need to help yourself and you do that first by educating yourself.

Went out last night with Nomad again to some Brazilian party.

Let me tell you, if you're in Miami and have the chance to go out with him, and he has the time and energy to take you out that particular night, don't even think about it, just do it. Even if you're helpless like me you WILL meet girls.

Actually, with Nomad it's not possible not to meet someone, it simply doesn't compute.

Have you been taking care of yourself first? Eat better, exercise, get some sun every day, dress well and be well groomed, focus on some hobbies, hang out with friends or join a club and hang out with other guys, and put yourself first in any decision you make (unless you have a kid or an emergency). Or my personal favorite if you can afford to is to travel, just do a long weekend where you can relax, but do it out of town. I also like to do online dating for a month or two to get back into the swing of things. Usually I bomb the first few dates, but that just builds up my emotional callus and banter, and by the 5th date I don't give a shit and chicks seem to be attracted by that.

RE: Mentors needed
Teutatis is exaggerating a bit, all I did was open a few sets and gave him some pointers here and there. He is doing well, in a few months, he won't be so "helpless" anymore...

I don't go out with the intent of "picking up" girls. My intentions when I go out is to have fun. Girls are just invited to join in. I am a BIG believer that your intentions, though known only to you, leak out in your behavior. So it changes your "vibe" and girls pick up on this. It will also put a lot more stress on you. Whatever I am doing, girls are always a secondary or by product of it, and this create a non-needy attitude that is extremely important with American girls. The reason it is easy for me to talk to any girl is because in my mind I am just being social. Now I know a lot of guys have a problem with being social but it's a much easier first step to conquer than going for the straight pickup. There is one thing though that I should mention, while on the surface my approach is social I am always sub-communicating my sexual intentions and masculinity non-verbally, primarily through touching and body language. And it is this non-verbal communication that is more important than the actually talking.

Game: Not gonna lie, I'm funny as hell but like the most game I ever seem to do is Dancefloor game. I got only one lay man. Talking to chicks and approaching has been one of my weaknesses.

Lifestyle: I ain't ripped at all. Only like 120. Been applying to jobs for months and either I'd be in a annoying commission based sales job or some bullshit period. It's okay though, I got 20 bucks.

I just need to do something, cause there's not a guarantee that I'll be reinstated for college this month. And if I do go back, having some of these sorted out would be helpful.

Nope.

I'm looking for good people to go out with in SF. Expert level not needed, just looking for guys who don't succumb to AA. I had 3 very solid wings who earlier this year all moved to LA.

Current sticking point is identifying girls who need to be shown more disinterest, IODs, backturns, etc, and acting appropriately.

^ if you get a back turn it is because you are not dressed sharp. I would bet large money if you dress sharp you will get zero back turns for every single night life venue.

(Not sure if this is what you meant but was my read)

Dressing well can make a big difference. Even for me, it's much easier when I dress up rather than dress down. You want to dress as good as you can without feeling uncomfortable, push to up to that limit, maybe even something that makes you a little uncomfortable.

Messaged Bacan. Near DC area - 21 - looking for people to hang out with to improve game by osmosis.

In all seriousness I just want friends I can learn from. If I get a mentor or turn into one, so be it.

The end game is to turn your back on them. A direct approach gives them the option of doing a 180 on you. That's why I like to face at an angle and set the trap. 99% of women have never had a guy turn away. It's a hamster nuker. And a hella lot of fun.

Once I get back on my feet I'll be down like Downtown Judy Brown to help some of these cats out. If it wasn't for guys taking me under their wing back in the day, I'd be fucking lost in the sauce.

WC are you talking something like Zara being good enough, or more like high-end menswear? I can't really be dropping 1500 on outfits left and right, but I seem to get a lot of compliments wearing Zara (slacks, dress shirts, belts.) Especially the multicolored shirts (the white with black accents.)

This is indirectly helpful (and I agree completely that in SF your style counts more than almost anywhere else), but what I meant was most girls need some kind of mixture of interest and disinterest from you, to generate attraction/lust in them. I feel LSE girl needs more interest and HSE girls who think they're hot shit need you to show them more disinterest. I'm having trouble 1) identifying these girls quickly, and 2) showing calibrated disinterest. Consequently show too much interest and then can never get them to chase me.

RE: Mentors needed
$100 says you're getting complements on Zara outfits simply because they fit.

I got no interest in large sums of cash for clothes (unless you're rich then do what you want).

Basically a $50-100 blazer, $20-40 shirt, $20-40 pants and nice dress shoes is fine.

The difference is making sure your belt matches your shoes, you have a pattern on flat, or correctly done pattern on pattern. The details (extra $30-40 on ties/squares/belts) will jump you 1 point minimum.

(Note I get all my stuff on sale, I don't care about quality as much as I do about fit + colors, you can get good stuff for the price points above just don't skip on shoes)

Most people 1) don't get the right fit, 2) don't get the right colors (black shoes are terrible), 3) spend money on fabric without regard for fit (just look at the financial district for a class on how to dress like shit and drop $2000+)

Based on your other thread though 1/25 for lays isn't even that bad. If you do 100 a month you're banging a new girl every week. You're in SF 1 a month is doable with practice even if you have a bad schedule.

So yeah I would add a little more detail to your outfit. I've noticed for older players (30+) decent fashion is a prerequisite if you want to increase quality.

If you have low self-confidence or self-esteem then that's the first thing you need to fix. No amount of Game or cool clothes is going to overcome or compensate for that. This is not something I or most people can fix. It's something you are going to have to work on fixing yourself or get professional help. You can try this cheap book and see if it helps:

The Nerd's Guide to Being Confident (It's from the same guy that wrote Models)
