For a "leaked" documentary they were right about a lot of stuff. Especially pertaining to the consumer culture.

In England - we laugh at North Korea because of their 'worshipful eternal leader' who is infinitely wise and so on...

Yet - here in England. We praise the Royal Queen in all her Regal Majesty and Glory and long for her to Reign over us forever more.

So - maybe in North Korea they use alot of these proclaimations in a similar manner - and none of the people really believe this sort of guff?

Watched the whole film, was actually made by some New Zealanders but it's all true. Felt like swallowing the red pill all over again but with politics.

Some of the best reporting I've seen on North Korea was vice.com's three part series on North Korea. They sent one of their reporters to do a story on the country, and it ends up being a pretty haunting and disturbing portrait:

I too wonder sometimes how much of what we read about North Korea is propaganda.

I did watch that before and it is very well put. However North Korea is not exactly the best nation to talk about propaganda..this was probably a joint production with somebody else!
