First let me give you the 101 on the Brickell neighborhood. Basically, it's an area just south over the river from 'downtown' Miami - but light years different in feel. The area has been the 'Financial District' of Miami, and Latin America for some time and is home to many banks, law firms and the hotels that cater to them like the Four Seasons, JW Marriott, Conrad, etc. In the 80's Cocaine Cowboy days, large condo buildings were developed just past most of the commercial area along Brickell avenue.

When the real estate market went beserk in the 2000's, massive luxury high-end condos began to pop up like wildfire right in the heart of the commercial district. Originally, developers thought they would sell these condos to wealthy south americans for second homes. However, when the market crashed a few years ago, it allowed young professionals like myself to move into these luxury buildings at a fraction of the original prices. So basically, the area has really been kept very alive by a strong population of young professionals and the bars/restaurants that have opened up reflect that.

Whereas downtown Miami really shuts down after 5pm with the exception of a couple spots, Brickell comes alive basically every night of the week. The crowd is mostly latin, definitely upscale, and so is the dress, but there is still something for everyone. During the week is a bit younger, say mostly 20's and 30's, and things get going late even on Wed. and Thursday nights. The weekend brings a slightly older crowd anywhere from 20's-40's. Most of the crowd is Colombian, Venezuelan, Argentinian, Brazilian mixed in with general Gringo. I live right in the heart of Brickell and the hello's and goodbye's in my building are about 50-50 Spanish vs. English.

As Coconut Grove has really slowed down in the past few years, Brickell has taken over. Miami Beach is the place people go to on occasion for nightlife, but it's not the core of the social scene for people that don't live in Miami Beach by any stretch. You don't see any of the South Beach Jersey Shore Meathead scene partying here in Brickell at all. One thing about the Latin crowd in Brickell is that these are Latinos that are used to being in 'both worlds' meaning many of them work professionally for companies, law firms, etc. and interact with non-Latinos all the time, yet still retain their latin heritage and preferences. You'll hear English and Spanish. The scene in more working class neighborhoods is definitely going to be 100% espanol, more rugged and macho.

For SNL, your best bet is probably a tourist visiting Miami Beach. They are in that 'Party in Miami' vacation mode. Especially if they are leaving or coming back from a cruise. If you are in your 20's, Coconut Grove and South Miami still get a big UM crowd, so there is SNL potential there too. SNL is difficult in Brickell but it can happen if the girl lives locally. Its really just not the norm in Brickell. But is it in any upscale area really??

Miami and Dade county a is sprawling area. The clubs and bars for the other areas are really spread out all over the place. The logistics of an SNL when night gaming in some far flung area like West Miami, Kendall or Doral are most-likely working against you.

Skip, nice info on the 305 especially on Brickell.

Brickell is a prime spot down here. It's just a drive over the bridge to get to south beach and its definitely a less loco lifestyle than I would live if I was on South Beach. There's no shortage of good bars and restaurants in Brickell, but the best part is the amount of fly hunnies. The girls are always out running on the street and walking their dogs.

Some of the latina women in this area are some of the most fly I have ever seen. Since its such an expensive spot to live, these girls come with $$$, from the cars to the clothes. Because of this these hunnies are higher status making them toucher to crack. But that's not enough to stop me, I plan on making this area my homebase down the road.

Dash, because of the geography of Miami, I'd say the best place for SNL is where YOU are based. There are latinas all over the place here - visiting, upper-class, working-class, we have 'em all. So if you want to find SNL, you have to game in the spot where it's gonna be easiest for you to pull it off logistically. For me, it's Brickell. I live on top of all the spots here. It gives me some credibility when I can point to my condo from the terrace at Dolores Lolita. If I lived in South Miami, that would be the best place for SNL for me. It would be pretty tough to be partying at the Blue Martini in Kendall and convince a girl to drive 30 minutes back to your pad. You have the tilt the game in your favor, there are latinas everywhere.

Anyone going for SNL's must always make sure that heir logistics are in-check. A SNL can be had anywhere, granted some places may appear to be easier than some, but it really depends on the player, and not the girls, imo.

So, if you intend to grab an SNL in Brickell, live within walking distance or no more than a 5 minute cab ride away at most. SNL's really get fucked up, when you have to drive a girl 20 miles back to your fuck-pad, pussy gets cold VERY FAST!

So, if you live in Fort Lauderdale, don't try to get a SNL from a girl in Brickell, and expect her to be ready to fuck 45 minuets after you left a club. SNL's happen because they are sudden, fast and the girl really has no time to think about the "slut factor" of what she is doing. Just think, "get in her mind, het in her pants".

I intend on geting a SNL in South beach for NYE, even though I have a condo 20 minutes by car away, I am getting a pimped-out hotel room walking distance from all party places. Dead on, Mixx. Your NYE plan sounds solid. If they are not booked up or ridiculously expensive, a room at the Gansevoort would be a good spot. Right in the middle of the action and you have the rooftop bar, STK and Coco de Ville all right on the property - would be a target-rich environment. Unfortunately I am flying to NYC for a wedding on New Years Eve so I won't be around for it otherwise I'd hit the Ciroc party on the roof there because I could snag a ticket.

Mixx, you deserve a huge shout out bro. Since starting to troop with you last year all the way to now, you have helped me build my game from the ground up.
