Cool L'Etranger you find a place? I PM'd you about that one on ocean drive. I just moved in one now too - its hectic now finding a spot as this is the season. Ya Nikki Beach is cool for sure, been there a few times. I like chillin on Lincoln Road for an ass parade its pretty nice, or the clubs for sure - like W, Louis, rooftop of Gansevoort, etc. Mokai, Rokbar, Shore Club, Delano, etc. etc. To be honest lately I am just thinking about hiring a girl to bring hot girls to me because I don't even like to give these chicks the satisfaction of me making a first move. I don't give a fuck, there are so many of them, but down here they get hit on all the time so SOMETIMES they can be a bit cunty and have their bitch shields up. Sure, I can bypass it, and I do a lot, but I'd rather develop a system of them coming to me. I've had it in the past at various times. Its all about turning perception on its head - similar to slipping bouncer cash to bring chicks to a table. But I like to keep my costs and effort down whenever possible. To each their own - and I def have moods where I just talk to everything hot I see too - which around here can be a lot.

Alright, I've been in Miami a while, starting to meet people and figure out the scene, I'm gonna drop some knowledge.

First of all, I'm gonna say that I don't really like clubs anymore, at least in the states. Not just Miami clubs, most clubs. I had a blast at the clubs in Brazil, but the US clubs scene can eat a dick. The music is too loud, can't talk to anyone. It's usually too crouded and most of the croud are tools. And, I don't really like to dance anymore, especially to the shitty music they play at most of these clubs. I preffer lounges, places kinda in between clubs and bars.

One thing I'm finding out about Miami is the guy to girl ratios are horrible! I was out with a friend this weekend and we were counting the line. It had to be a good 4 guy to 1 girl ratio, maybe even worse. BUT, the girls in line, almost every single one of them was gorgeous, if not easily bangable. At the bars, you don't find too many hotties unless you go to the right places or just happen to get lucky and go on a night where a group of hotties is hanging out. A lot of the good looking girls at the loungy spots have hardcore bitch shields up and a lot also are with their boyfriends. Of all the girls in line, I would say at least half were with their boyfriends. There are also a decent amount of girls who are out for dudes with money. I was talking to one I work with the other day. She was telling me about how she had to miss a date with her ex because of work. I said, "Who cares, he's your ex, you don't need to go on a date with him, move on." She said, "I want to make things better, he has a lot of money and supports me." We talked for a minute about it and I asked her, "If he didn't have money would you be with him?" She said no. Then I asked, "If you really liked me and I only made $12 an hour, would you be with me?" She responded, "I don't know how to answer that question because it's been so long since I've dated someone who doesn't make a lot of money." But don't let what I'm saying bring your hopes down, because there is mad tallent out here that can easily be cracked. Like we were talking about before, girls around here are getting hit on every day all day, so you gotta stand out. A lot of times they are getting hit on, it's some dude saying some lame shit while walking by like, "Damn girl, you lookin fine!" So if you're not an idiot, and you make an effort to have a somewhat intelligent conversation, you can do well.

From my observation, the key to meeting girls in Miami is day game (Which I would always strongly recomend wherever you are) and meeting girls through people you know, build a social circle. I could see it being pretty hard to pick up here if you are only coming out for a weekend and planing on only trying to pick up when you're going out. Chances are your hook ups are gonna be american tourist girls if you go this route. Miami can be a gold mine, you just gotta learn how to crack it. I'm just starting to learn the tricks. Day game, day game, day game! And build a social circle. The clubs have horrible ratios and stuck up women. Those stuck up women at the clubs become approachable again when out of the clubs. They put up a strong guard it seems like when they are in the clubs. But obviously there are exceptions to the rule. But I just choose to spend my time and energy in places where it will be more lucrative for me. Maybe it will be different for you and you are good at picking up at loud clubs. For me, I like to be places where I can talk to the person I'm trying to hook up with and not have to scream in their ear and have people bumping into my drink, which then spills all over me and the girl.

I owned a real estate company, real estate, and the whole shibang.. hit up realtor.com and miami.craigslist.org but go to realtor.com if you don't want to be hassled by realtors to start with. If you want South Beach I recommend a foreclosure in 2301 Collins Ave. if you can pay cash but maintenance is high about $653 but its attached to a 5 star hotel. Can't get financing there. A bunch of other foreclosures and shit around in South Beach. Buyers market, and will be for a while longer most likely although its not as slow as it was last yr.

Oh ya on realtor.com put in 33139 as zip code for south beach 33140 is more north in miami beach.

Im curious about the bars/clubs that are more geared to the working class latin chicks not the stuck up putas on ocean dr. day game is the best.. the beach, lincoln rd, etc. - i see TONS of hot girls .. only some at clubs, to be honest, I'd agree.. Ocean Drive doesn't have much anyway, to be honest.. but other places in S Beach have some.. to be honest though Mixx probably knows more about "over the bridge" ... or even by Coconut Grove and the Univ of Miami.. not sure if any bitches here aren't "stuck up" for example.. but may be some places you can score poor chicks.. but sometimes they act shitty if you don't know spanish and I want to tell them to go fuck themselves.. or I actually do tell them that.. lol.

Actually I don't really go to touristy spots. The only touristy place I've been is Mansion and I already had a girl with me, so it would be hard for me to evaluate on a lot of the big clubs. I've been venturing into Miami more lately and there are some pretty good spots that are more working class. I still have a lot of discovering to do though. One thing I'm finding is a lot of the working class places I'm going aren't having great quality women, but I'm still having fun there reguardless.

SoBe is fun once in a while, but it's not the place to live for me. Brickell is great, plus you're closer to Midtown, Design District, Wynwood...which all have great places to hang out and more opening all the time. Your average tourist could never find these places. Plus, it's easier to explore deeper into Miami, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables....Brickell is a no brainer. Also, downtown, while not as 'developed' from a nightlife standpoint has some great rental opportunities in luxury buildings.

Has anyone else in Miami noticed that a lot of people here don't think that the whole standing in line and waiting your turn concept applies to them? It literally happens to me all the time. Probably 3 times this week. And the cashiers don't help at all, and even add to it! Last week I'm waiting in line at the bank for 20 minutes and I get called over to a cashier and a girl steps in front of the whole line and in front of me. The cashier tells her she cut the whole 20 minute line, but then says, "Let me take care of this gentelman and then I'll help you next." WTF?!?!?!? No!!! Tell that bitch she needs to get in the back of the fucking line and wait her turn just like all the rest of us did. Have you never been to a bank before?!?! Then today, an older man walks right in front of the line at the store. He's just getting a tomato, whatever, he's a prick but I'll deal with it. He has a dollar, the clerk says the tomato is $1.12, he sits there and says "$1.12!, what!" and starts digging for more change. Meanwhile while he's looking for his change the cashier looks around me at the guy behind me and grabs his bananas and starts to ring him up on the other register. I say, "What the fuck is that?!?! That's the second person I watched go in front of me!!! I'm not buying my ciggarettes here!" He says, "What kind of ciggarettes do you want my friend?" I look him dead in the eyes and point at his face and say, "NO, FUCK YOU!" I said it loud enough so everyone in the store heard and stormed out of the place. I know, big fucking deal, but you know what, it felt good. If you knew me I'm a real easy going cat. I don't loose my temper easily and have a lot of respect, but at the same time I give respect and I expect it back. I just got fed up with people being so rude around here. If you're on time, you like people who do what they say they're going to do, etc. - well, you're going to go fucking insane. You need some serious patience here man. And if you're not careful, it can break your will.

Yeah, I see exactly what you're talking about. A lot of people here have no reguard for others and completely suck. But there are still some good people out there, they're few and far between, but they're around. I even met a hottie last night, she asked me for my number, I gave it to her and figured I'd never hear from her again since she was a miami girl, but sprisingly I woke up this morning with a text saying, "It was a pleasure meeting you last night."
