You assume correctly. The reason they do that is the spam filters are text based and get trained to trigger off known bad text, and those email addresses would trigger the filter.

Also if they quote back parts of your post to you, that's a good sign that it's spam.

Basically, if you're going to do stuff on Craigslist, you're better off using a throwaway gmail account.

Lmao, how stupid. Not surprising, considering that the girls on there might be hot sometimes but probably lower on the IQ or economic scale (e.g. baristas, single moms, etc.).

Two things:
1. Girls who give a phone number that isn't a burner are stupid, especially if it's linked to her Facebook account and you can just find her on Facebook.

I've been posting a shirtless pic of me from waist to chin from a time last year when I was fairly buff. Definitely more responses than ads with no pic.

I have the same experience as the others- I'm able to detective most of these chicks through info attached to their email. Women don't even tech.

I'm having the problem that my ads get flagged.
I don't know if its autoflag or someone flagging my ad.
One add did stay long enough that I got 2 girls reply.
They didn't seem fake. And on the first round of reverse image search, the pictures didnt come up.
But then my add got deleted..and both girls stopped replying. I don't know if its because they thought I was fake.. or they were bots themselves.

Can anyone with experience in this PM the type of add your posting? I'll PM the one that keeps getting flagged.

Well the last girl never responded after I requested validation. So I guess that proves the scam idea.

Try posting the same ads in another city, that will tell you if its a CL autoflag or a local competitor.

I had a real problem with getting flagged last year on avariety of ads. Recently only my sugardaddy ads have been flagged which I suspect is by the autoflag picking up keywords. I think the previous flagging was by a competitor.
