It really completely just depends on where you're talking about in the us. In miami, competition is high and many guys are good at pulling, whether from being successful or from looking good and having good game. Here in denver its laughable watching guys try to pull. The other night I was at a spot. We sat down next to two girls who were no more than 5s. During that time at least 6 guys approached them while talking to us. I mean it was pathetic. I ended up walking away and watching while 6 dudes try hitting on two girls that I would probably only bang if I was wasted. I mean these guys weren't even in the same group. It was like 6 guys from 3 different groups all fighting over the same ugly girls.

I've been a bar-game guy for 10 years now and it keeps getting way more shitty each year. I need elements where I can be social with other social people and the bar IMO has always been the best for it but now with the dropped there has to be better.

I think it was more bad game. The ratio was also really bad where we were, and usually is most places, but I am actually surprised at the talent here I guess since I had such low expectations. It truly isn't that bad. Even with bad ratios, most dudes are chumps when it comes to picking up. The only thing you have to worry about is cock blocking. Ive been hanging out with a guy I met and he is bad with cock blocking. The first time i thought he didnt realize he was cock blocking. The next time I thought it was out of spite. The dude is a personal trainer too, he's ripped, he shouldn't have a hard time picking up. He told me he doesn't hit on girls when he goes out because he's a personal trainer and doesn't need to. Yep. People can laugh, and you can swim against the stream by improving your game, looks, and status, but night game in the U.S. is on the downhill big-time. I'm better than I was ten years ago, but I'd get laid much more if girls were as receptive in bars and clubs as they were. I record everything, and it makes me laugh how easy chicks were in the early 2000's, for example. What I mean is, I sucked ass back then and still pulled bitches I'd need game to swing later on.

Toronto has talent, especially in the warmer months for sure. Talent is never an issue, maybe fatties being so bold to think they can show their rolls out in the club, but in general girls here are good.

If anything that bar was not at the top. You come trough a good lounge and you'll see hot chics. Walking downtown in key spots you'll run into good talent, the city has women that has never been the issue.

We put a lot of the blame on the women, and while yes , a large part of their masculine, shitty attitudes in the anglosphere is their fault, we also have to attribute a lot of it to butch ass dudes that let them get away with their shit attitudes and buy dumb bitches like the one we saw on this video drinks. I've always had trouble understanding what is meant by "guys can't get laid in Toronto". It seems to be unanimous here, but com on, there's no way that no guys are getting laid there. I would guess that most guys and girls ARE getting laid. The real question is, what do you have to do to get it and how do you have to go about it? My initial impression is that 'game' doesn't seem to work very well there and maybe bars are very difficult to pick up in because they are always in large groups and/or have high shields up when in bars.

But what about dropping the standard game script and just being an interesting guy? Granted, it's hard to just "be an interesting guy" if you're not to begin with and there is no A, B, C script to follow, so it's hard to call it 'advice', I guess. Still, if you can be interesting and funny, wouldn't that work without all the extra 'gaming' efforts? And how about, instead of bars, you meet girls working in shops, bookstores, etc.? I don't live in Toronto anymore and haven't for a long time but I do go home to visit occasionally. Last summer, I decided that I would try my best to get out for some drinks and see what things were like these days but reading how impossible things were there, I figured I wouldn't even get a 'hi' back. The picture painted here is very bleak! Anyway, I met a female friend of mine from university and we went out for drinks. While dancing with her, I felt something bump me and heard a crash. I turn around to see a very good-looking 25 or so-yr-old blonde girl standing there and her drink all over the floor with the glass smashed to bits. I honestly didn't know if it was my fault for bumping her or if she bumped into me carelessly. I felt like I was the one bumped into, but I couldn't be sure. But if it was my fault, I feel it's my responsibility to replace her drink. I would do the same with an ugly girl or a guy. So I asked her if she was alright. She said yes. Then I apologized for knocking her drink out of her hand and told her I'd buy her a replacement. She said no and that it wasn't necessary. (Maybe she DID bump me?) I insisted, she refused again. Then I just told her I'm buying her a drink and took her to the bar. I order the drink and just be my funny entertaining self while we waited. She wasn't bitchy to me at all. Not even a little bit. I was shocked, but then I thought maybe it's just while we're waiting for the drink to come. But after she got her drink, she didn't leave and we continued to talk. The rapport was great and I could tell she was loving it. Found out she had a group of friends at the other end of the bar. Then my uni friend came over and fucked it all up. LOL Broke state completely and was pissed off at my friend for being too selfish to wait a few minutes for me to close so I just let go of the blonde. Would she have fucked me? Who knows. Would she have even dated me? Who knows. I think a reason a lot of people hate Toronto's nightlife is cause they go to the normal shitty venues with horrible ratios and ugly girls.

Also, there's a specific way to play the game here. I think its true Toronto is harder than a lot of other cities but its by no means impossible.

Also you gotta avoid the venues with the PUAs. Recently Maddys(known for being a cockfest) got a lot better because a lot of the PUAs left and because the ratio improved. My buddy pulled a fairly cute girl from Maddys last Thursday while I spent half the night with a girl, made out with her, and walked her to her apartment where she refused to let me come up because of roommates.

I think going to the Alexander Hotseat helped us both because we have much more natural non-threatening vibes now, instead of the typical aggresive vibe that pickup guys give off. Additionally it gave us the understanding of how important persistence is, and that as long as a girl is still there listening to you its on.

In higher end clubs(think classy, not guido) you'll see a good number of hotties. One venue I go to will have a good number of model type girls. You're not gonna pull from those places the first few times you go there(I certainly don't), but I know advanced guys who do pull hot girls from high end nightclubs. Uniun is a great spot to go just for the music, and has a decent number of legit hot girls.





Going the flashing money route to meet these women is a horrible idea. They have their provider dudes who will pay for their shit, and they'll then also fuck the bartender. Be the second type of guy, the fun guy. That's how the advanced guys I know do it. If you go out to these kind of high end places often enough you'll build up enough connections to have solid social proof.

What I'm doing right now is spending time shifting between high end, and lower end venues. Its a good mix that keeps things interesting and helps with personal growth. I drink 1X a week and usually am going out 4-6 times a week over summer since I have a lot of free time.

Anyways, what I'm saying is go out 5 nights a week sober for a few months and you should be good. After that you could probably go out 3 times a week and still have an active sex life. You'll also build enough connections during the first few months to get into higher end places on busy nights.

I will endorse a lot of what Kosko said, I am also seeing a lot of girls with boyfriends that are willing to creep.

I don't understand why a guy that is use to models in L.A and Vegas would want to come here, to deal with inferior girls.

I've been looking at club pics/videos of TO because of this thread, and I can say the high-end club scene maybe has girls that are 1 to 2 points lower (tops) on the looks scale compared to the high-end LA club scene. It is lower, but it is not way lower like some have claimed before when they compared TO to DC.

I really wish Roosh would had visited the club scene of TO before making his rating of the girls in the city. TO has a pretty big club scene and it seems like the best talent in the city is found there.

Texas Prophet - Roosh visited the places that were more suitable to his style, even he has stated he is not into the clubs.

This argument comes up in every Toronto thread, but a dude from L.A is going to get love in the city. A Toronto girl would love to visit L.A and better yet have a place to stay (in her mind). I have used that to my advantage when travelling through Europe, I simply tell them I am from NYC and watch their eyes gloss over.

The problem with Toronto is when you live here, for starters girls are wrapped up half of the year.

Now I am not saying we don't have hidden gems here, we do but they are not easy to find.

Montreal is a much better option, closest thing to a European city in North America. Quebec City if you parle francais mon ami is a good option.

since i cut back big time on reaching into my pocket for women, i am getting much better results and the two in my current rotation now generally pay for me when we go out.

still trying to figure it out but i guess its because i make them work harder to get my attention, so they do exactly that, work harder.
