I actually do that as well.

Many times right when I get her number and I am still speaking with her.

It does a few things:

1. It makes sure you have the right number.

2. It ingrains who you are into her brain.

3. If she is looking for you at the end of the night, it is easy for her to scroll thru her phone to call you or text you to swoop when she is drunk.

4. She will remember you when you call ie higher chance of her picking up the horn.

I have the SwiftKey app. It auto-capitalizes, auto-punctuates, auto-spells, everything. My texts are pristine without trying. But girls generally return the effort.

@g-manifesto- Your % conversion rates are encouraging for me. I thought I was doing it wrong. Strong leads =50-60% chance of meet up. Medium leads= 10-20%. Weak leads- 1%. I get a strong lead about once every 2 days of going out, and crap-tons of mediums. Its def. a time/number grind.

@everybody -Any tips or tricks on upping the conversion? I usually pitch sushi and sake.

@mcqueen we have the same style on texting. Grammar errors/typos everywhere very short 1-3 word texts if possible.

The first name thing is just as the G said, she knows who you are immediately.

I do not confirm she received my text, when I ask for her number I just pull out my phone go to contacts click the + sign and type in her first name and hand the phone to her. This lets her know I did not forget her name either.

(Player tip, if she adds her last name she is more interested in you than if she leaves it blank, however if she asks to be confirmed on Facebook ignore the bonus points for getting her last name).

I give her time to correctly type it in, grab it type WestCoast send as I am placing the phone back in my pocket, I make it seem as if I am "saving down" her contact.

If I decide to call first, then I just leave a message and say "text me back", girls get frivolous and weird about calling a guy.

With all that said, you know for sure if she likes you because there is no way in hell she doesn't know who just called/texted her.

@dvy: sounds like another good idea is to make a fun personal connection. Does she like gambling? Take her to race tracks. Does she like art = museum + drinks, does she like sports? Go to a cheap baseball game. Does she like dancing? Does she like sushi?

Play into what she does for fun, sticking with only one date venue limits you, maybe you nab a girl who hates sushi (yeah I know all girls like sushi and avocado and think they are cultured). But I usually wait till I find a hobby and that's the date suggestion + alcohol.

I avoid taking a square peg and always using it for all cases (girls) like a game of Milton Bradley's pop n stop perfection. My interests are watery, in the name of closing.

More general stuff:

1. I also triangulate the names. I use hers and my own in the first text. "Hey x, this is y." I consider that indispensable.

2. Do my eyes deceive me? The G-Man is texting now?! Change has come to America.

3. On grammar. I've been told, repeatedly, by chicks that I "text like a 16-year-old girl." I use all kinds of abbreves (e.g., "c u there"). It's interesting how many say it's so incongruous with the rest of my personality (writing, speaking). That said, I never do it at the expense of logistical precision or manliness. I never use smilies--outside of the forum, that is.

Very astute.

I have been noticing that a lot lately and I agree.

I use my first and middle (which girls always think it is first and last) on introduction so many times it feels more natural for girls to put First and Last in my phone if they are "hot" leads.

Reading The G Manifesto's post about when to use texting versus calling, like most things he says, I just can't disagree with. However, I do have a day job at the moment so I spent a lot of time where I can't be calling from my phone, so texting is a good way to keep leads hot, and I can respond to them here and there throughout my work day. I do get pretty busy though, so my texting is VERY sporadic.

I keep my texting as a lighter version of what I am in person. Some humor is hard to convey, so mini-conversations are what I aim for. I try to keep my texts closer to DHVs with some comfort thrown in. The latest girl Ayla that I write about somewhere in this post (if you want the backstory):

I prefer to use proper punctuation and grammar, but for the sake of time and somewhat for the psychological effect, I do try to keep messages shorter and less "proper." Here's an example below, although I probably use correct punctuation and comfort a lot more than normal with her since I know her through an old family friend:

<Ayla> Hola! Como estas Senor AO?
<AO> Bien. Just finished up lunch with my mom, brother and a friend

We've been bullshitting a bit like this, she's asked me out twice to get drinks or do something else with her but I've been busy. Her buying temperature is still high enough, but I've been sucking with this particular one because I don't think she's quite in the shape I prefer. We'll see.

This girl I was very direct with and she hated/loved it. Called her out at every turn so she was totally smitten. I don't think most guys treat a girl like that with such a cute smile and nice rack like I did. Usually I'm a bit nicer, but I think I'm slowly succumbing to the dark triad.

Also, I'm not sure if I got this one from G Manifesto or someone else, but every once in a while I ask for a girl's phone number and I don't even pull out my phone, I just tell her I'll remember. Gets em every time. Girls freak out when you can memorize their number (or at least in my case, memorize it long enough to get around the corner to type it into my phone or write it down). Try it sometime, the area code you're going to remember automatically so you just have to remember 7 digits for a short period of time.

More than script, I measure the time between each text. The shorter the time elapsed (the faster the pace of texting), the more interested the cat. If she responds in a very lousy way, I am the first to quit the game. Worst case scenario I get stuck in a texting hell resulting in no bang at all. Some girls use texting only as way to entertaining themselves and getting attention, much like with chicks collecting "facebook likes". Try to screen these attention whores out after a few texts.

I generally call girls I close on the street (or in clubs) but with OKC girls I always text and basically follow the Bang guide.

Me: "Hey, xxx, How's your (day/week/weekend) going? -E"
Her: "Oh, it was great I <blah blah blah>, how was yours?"
Me: "It was awesome. Are you around <sometime specific?"
Her: "Yeah, what's up?" or "No, but I should be free on <another day>"
Me: "Cool, let's go grab a drink at <place I have on lock down> @ 8pm"

Then no further contact until the date. I always make a back up plan that I'm looking forward to so that I'm not anxious about flaking. But so far my flake rate for girls that actually agree to specific plans is very low.

If I met her at a bar or something and she had to leave, this is my go-to text,

"You're going the wrong way."

(That's also a line I use in person. When a girl walks by, I grab her arm right as she's about to pass and say, "You're going the wrong way." She'll ask why. I'll say, "Because you're going that way [pointing] and I'm right here." WestCoast said it didn't work for him but he gave it to a wing and it worked great.)

When the girl texts back, "What," "Why," or something, then:

"You need to be back here, with me."

For me it sets the frame right away. I am saying she should be with me (Is that beta?) but in a dominant way. All of my texts are direct and are geared towards finding a girl who is feminine.

I have to be pretty close to 100% to getting a response right away to that text.

In a rare instance I'll be doing a non-mobile post so here' I'll go ahead and outline what I mean by hot/cold leads and what I try to do about this.

1. If a girl sends you a smiley face and an !!! you are a loser if you cannot close it.
2. If a girl sends you a smiley face I rank that a notch above an !! text because it means she is "happy and excited" to see my name versus just excited to see my name
3. If you get an !!! you should bang by date 2 at minimum
4. If you get a "Thanks nice to meet you" or something similar, you're in medium to cold territory
5. If you got nothing, well you didnt close and you should chalk it up to dat dem dere game of life.

Lets go ahead and begin.

White Hot Lead

I text my name. She sees it (notice i sent this shit at 2am right when i got her number). She sends a smiley face, this means you should just close up the date now. What I do towards the end of interactions is give her a quick DL of what my weeks look like. If she is not black out drunk and you get messages like this you're golden. (note to other dance floor players if she can dance smoothly she ain't drunk).

This one is like a Lebron James dunking on a 2 foot rim with a tennis ball.

Hot Lead

Here again the girl responds immediately. See the rules above no initial emoticon. This is one-two date close territory, likely one but its not as good as the "lol smiley face" trey songz style attraction. Again keep it simple and I made a quick inside joke with her where I banter back and forth for 2 seconds call her up 2 days later and then lock up a date.

Medium Lead

Medium is between 3 and 4 where she says nice to meet you and your name. At this point I respond with a photo to jar up the most positive emotionally charged part of the conversation.

In this case here is the background. Met at a club/lounge, she said she was a nurse and draws a lot of blood from patients. I accused her of being a vampire. We chat more and she says she hates beer so i said girls like her are supposed to drink tomato juice+beer like they do in mexico, especially since it matches her blood drinking obsession (she laughs). Then I said it is common to drink tomato juice + beer, because where i come from (i say mexico - lie) it is normal. We then chat about traveling and she says in Spain they mix doctor pepper with wine (i pretend she is a big liar even though I know she is telling the truth).

I send her a photo of a "pimped out tomato" truck after the weak response to my immediate name drop. She then responds with some !!! and then says she was not lying about the doctor pepper+wine recipie.

I then joke we will name her fake drink after her "Name Pimienta" = spanish for pepper (she is from Spain)

This turned into a bang (MikeCF has a photo of her on my bed)

Medium Cold
Finally, we get to medium cold. You can see the text messages are spaced far a part and there is not much fun and smileys or !!! going around. This is doable but it is pretty much at the end of the line of what I will pursue. I run the same standard set up, name, try to get a quick logistical conversation going then just tell her "I will call you in a few days". Not sure how this one ends but these ones are about 25/75 close rate versus the first one which is pretty much 80/20 (Dont fuck it up game)

Final notes.

1. MikeCF's line worked for my buddy, they have a more similar style game.
2. From a numbers perspective i get a white hot lead every 3 weeks or so and at least 2-3 medium hot to medium leads every 1-2 weeks
3. You should not text if you told her you will call her in a few days you look like a pussy
4. Keep the conversation as happy + fun as possible (this is my style and game, I'm "passionate" not "needy" I do not run any asshole game, my game is to get her to say "you make me feel so happy!")

Shit will be different for everyone but there is the steez

I go out 6 nights a month on average.

Note to Roosh on the third interaction I did the same name text, she did not respond (I deleted her from my queue) then started with my plan B which is the picture text when she does not give an emotional reaction.

Oh one last note, I only use picture texts when I can link it to an emotionally charged part of the convo. Another example for the medium lead would be sending a photo of some hot chick vampire biting some dude's neck and saying "found your twin". But she laughed more regarding the wine + tomatoes + beer conversation.

"Hey Karolina the racist Pole, it's Matt from the other night. How you doing, missy?"

"Hey Sabina it's Matt from last night (who said hi when I was leaving). How was your night, missy?"
