I guess we view the world differently. As far as being rascist I don't believe I am, but then again everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I lived for most of my life in these East African countries and from my observations the white tourists exploiting the natives far surpassed the natives. Of course there are African men who do similiar things I never said there wasn't, but once again the whites especially in Coastal Kenya exploited the Africans. I stand by my point because I saw this first hand.

But I do know that the bolded comment makes little sense. Somalia must be the only country in the world then where the white tourists surpass the natives in frequenting the local hookers. Even in a place like Thailand, where the sex trade is an ingrained part of the culture and tourists flood the place throughout the year, the local men give the local hookers a large portion of their total business. Especially outside of the major cities.

I think that you choose to see what you will, which is that the white man is to blame for the corruption of the local girls. That's okay, because people often need someone to blame, over whom they have little control. It shifts the blame and guilt, and frees them and their people from having to take responsibility.

If I were to go to Colombia right now, how many Colombians would blame the white man for why there are Colombian hookers? They would laugh, because its the Colombian men who keep the hookers in business for the most part. Why would Somalia, a much less attractive option for white tourists for obvious reasons, have a sex trade supported by white males when its not even true for countries that are more pleasant to visit for, and more frequently visited by, white males?

I think that the local Somali girls would likely starve if they had to rely on the white mans money for survival.

The fact that you single out white men over latino men, asian men, arab men and African men does tell me that you are racist. That's fine, because after dating a few black women in my lifetime, I've actually dealt with a lot of black on white racism directed toward me. Your just hurting yourself, and your people my friend, when you choose to voice those opinions. Just as white on black racism makes black people less trusting of white people, the converse is also true. Luckily, I am smart enough to know that you just haven't been around enough, and you probably are frustrated by your situation and need someone to blame. That's okay. Also, if you have a better option for the hookers, why don't you work on creating jobs for them? Unless they are slaves, its a choice. So, create a better option for them than selling sex to any man. If you don't have a better option for them, then you shouldn't be so judgmental. What else are they supposed to do? As one of their own, its your responsibility if you think so little of their available choices. Or you can donate food to them so that they don't starve when they quit their jobs. No one wants their daughters or mothers doing what those girls do. Its just a part of this crazy world. But you need to take responsibility if you don't like it, and stop blaming others.
