Big win by Philly. That #3 seed is going to be important. The #4 will probably have to play the 49'ers, who are rounding into form, while the #3 gets to host the Saints, who are going to be an easy out away from the Superdome. Plus, the #3 won't have to go to Seattle in the divisional round.

All those things could easily happen. The Chargers have been playing well the last half Iof the season and I would like to see them make it in if my Steelers can't pull a Hail Mary.

Got to give him a lot of credit - not many people are going to want to move at all with a herniated disk, much less complete a professional football game with people trying to hit you on every play.

I really doubt he's going to play Sunday. The NFC East is the Eagles' to lose.

Can the Broncos win the AFC?

That defense is vulnerable, even more so now that Von Miller is out for the rest of the season. They have no pass rush without him. Considering that the QB's going into the playoffs include Brady and Luck, I think the Broncos are in trouble. With some luck, the Colts and Patriots will play each other before the winner heads to Denver, so that the Broncos only need to beat one of those teams. I think having to beat both those teams back to back is too tall an order for Denver.

I hate the Seahawks, but Russell Wilson is awesome.

Have a thing on ESPN right now showing him be supportive for an eleven year old girl that got a heart transplant. Showed off the Seahawks wallets she makes at a press conference and then visited her in hospital.

He did that stuff all the time without prompting when he was at UW. Impressive guy.

So far so good. Now they have to win their own game, but are struggling so far against a Chiefs team that is sitting key starters.

Epic choke job by the Lions this season. Essentially had the division on a silver platter with Rodgers and Cutler out and didn't get it done. Then they lose with AP out today. I'm sure Jim Schwartz is gone.

Yeah...you'll probably hear tomorrow that Schwartz is done. He actually did what you need to do with a team with a long history of losing or mediocrity. Change the culture. But he lost control of it, and had too many players that were plain outlaws, doing things that became counterproductive to winning. And one of their own players said it before last week's loss - that they always seemed to come up small in important games. They couldn't seem to make the key play that would lead to winning games.
