Last year, we were only able to watch the first two weeks of the season before the entire field turned pink for a month. Then there were the domestic violence commercials in November. I found it unbearable. For the first time in my life, I stopped watching midway through the season, and I skipped the Super Bowl.
The NFL has never been like this—and I’ve been watching continually since 1978. It's literally non-stop with these socio-political talking points.
And now it’s only pre-season, and we have the Kaepernick race controversy. It’s just tiring. I hope things change for the NFL, because if it keeps going in this direction, I won’t be able to watch anymore.

The pink-themed stuff is over the top and the entire 'domestic violence' thing was a pathetic projection of NFL's problems onto mainstream America which doesn't exist. They should be talking about how some of these rapacious golddiggin' women effectively set up their men and/or practice emotional violence on them but that would be taboo in the current toxic social climate.
Noticing a lot more females all across the NFL network now so they really are pushing the whole 'women in football' thing to extremes. Usually it's vocal fry aggressive / boyish women who are highly annoying and who I have zero interest in listening to discuss football.
Unfortunately given how PC the society and game is becoming I can only imagine that it will get worse and longtime fans will begin to slowly (not quickly) drift away.
Right now the NFL is just about the only sport I am dedicated to - hope that doesn't change but if this SJW pandering and 'righteous fascism' spreads anymore I might start to watch less.

Yep, and the NBA constantly had commercials and a push called "Lean In" which tells men to work harder and do more to help women because according to this movement, women do far much more work than men.
Add to it the SJW crap ESPN pushes out nonstop, it will not be too long until even the most blue pill of men will have enough of it. Soon they will take the red pill and the anti-family feminist liberal trash will be dealt with.
I hope more athletes are as dumb as Kaepernick and speak out about their feelings and show the average guy how much they truly are despised by the liberals.
Kap should have stayed in baseball. Now he has lost too much weight, injuries, and has regressed.
I was very dissapointed he chose the NFL. Now he is probably going to get cut and after that, he won't get another job in the NFL. I don't think any young men, black or other should speak on politics at all while playing. If what you do is your livelihood, be professional and keep your opinions to yourself. I doubt any of us run around the office telling people our redpill views. That goes to HR immediately. Early on in my career, a senior engineer I was learning from got canned because he is always trying to talk about Mormon religion at work. Later our boss told us all at the table, he was asked to cut one person on our team, and since he was the only person with issues like that, he choose him even though I could not take up his workload at the time. Because of that guy's big mouth I was able to get training and took his spot. That opportunity changed my whole life.
Kap, no fault of his own, grew up with adopted parents, that were probably not keen enough to pull his ass to the side and teach him how the real world works as a young black man in America. Sometimes you have to put your business first above all else around you, then strategically make your moves later, in a constructive fashion.
Kap narrowly dodged a rape charge. Now this. He has always had a very funky Millennial, teen anger attitude towards everything, and is extremely arrogant. I bet none of his teammates. I don't want him to end up like Johnny, but it looks possible. He might get to keep 11 or so million once they cut him, but he better be smart with that. It is going to need to last him because that is it for him.
In America playing sports that kids play for free while you are getting paid makes you a matter of fact role model for all the fans of that sport.
Furthermore... in America the role model job you enjoy was bought at the price and blood of true patriots of all races who volunteered and served to defend America and were maimed or died and sent home wrapped in the flag you deliberately choose to disrespect.
Patriots of all races who gave their last true measure of devotion to make it safe for you to be a spoiled arrogant ungrateful unpatriotic delusiounal drunk on your own self aggradized out of control ego.
Any privileged sports de facto role model who refuses to respect the best symbols of our country stand at attention and put their hand over their hearts in respect is in fact urinating on the spirits and deficating on the graves of all patriots who served and sacrificed for their athletic privileges.
NFL should be ashamed along with his team... only thing we should do is shun this unpatriotic douchebag and hit him his team the NFL and NFL sponsors by witholding our collective financial support for all their products and services and start a massive social boycott on line to paint the sponsors and the NFL as enablers of this unpatriotic anti American agenda.
Bob Costas tried to rope Carmelo Anthony at Rio into similar questions of respect for America after he and other NBA stars stood in silence at the ESPies to protest the LE shootings of unarmed blacks.
Carmelo nipped Costas in the bud and said despite the problems in our country he was there to win a gold medal stand on the podium bow his head and put his hand over his heart at attention while they raise the flag and play the national anthem.
Despite all the crime problems in the USA the entire USA men's basketball team faced the flag at attention with their right hands over their hearts in a sign of respect. #NBAsRealRoleModels

I agree with you that it will probably just get worse (and I'm an optimist, by nature).
It's getting to the point where the only things we'll be able to call our own, are those things that we've created with our own two hands.

Exactly. The old saying, “You don’t talk religion or politics at a party” goes double for work. This is the place you draw a paycheck and—like it or not—part of that means standing for the National Anthem. You got to be savvy. It’s actually a horrible career decision on his part.
If I was getting paid 11 million to hold a clipboard for 16 weeks, I’d proudly sing the National Anthem of Kazakhstan.
Kap has grown up with white parents his whole life. Grew up upper middle class/wealth post age 3. His experience mirrors likely less than 10% of African-American households.
He has as much exposure to the plight of African-Americans as me a Canadian. I can comment and relate but I did not live it. I would never attempt to be a leader for a movement I never have drawn blood or sweat for.
Kapperneck has always attempted to cast himself as "hard" and more the aggressive elements that get type casted with Black America. Chris Webber was guilty of this as well in trying to act more hood then his life and you could see right through the act. Both have had trouble with the courts, had fights, etc, all in attempts to act hard. Instead of acting like upper class black men which try are they think the only way to act is like goon of a WSHH video.
So now Kap thinks he is a leader in doing the most passive an lazy protest yet. If his act was in violation of league rules, or getting him fines (and him donating he equal amount to black Anerican charities) then I would give a second look. But this act literally is as lazy as it gets as he is not defying any league rules.
If he really wanted to bring attention why ain't using his celebrity to physically go to Oakland communities and try and bring awareness? He ain't doing none of that. So why should we call him a maverick or leader now? When doing the utmost least.
Was he thinking about all of this when e always went to bed with a meal in his belly and heat always on while young? How about with both parents there to support and care for him?
Dude isn't getting it. There is levels to it all. Don't claim the top of the ladder until you willing to climb it all.
Kap seems like the type of guy who gets highly politicized by spending hours reading stupid shit on Twitter and Instagram. He's been known to post political stuff on his accounts before. I'd really like to know his real world exposure to all the minority issues he wants to protest about.
My SB prediction: A week 1 rematch of NEW and ARZ. I'd like ARZ to win, but the cuck Goodell really needs a world broadcast shit eating moment. That happens when he hands the Lombardi to NEW. That's all that matters to me about the NFL anymore; not that I'll be watching much of it anyway.
Green Bay to the Super Bowl: Healthy Aaron Rodgers, Shaun Hill-led Vikings, and a cream puff schedule - they have 1 hard game, at home against Seattle.
Well done PJW quick sharp and hard hitting video - did not know of Kaps new found love of Islam... hmmm a traitor in the NFL?
YT Comment:
The mentality that you are more important than your country needs to stop with these black privileged multi-millionaires! Beyoncé, Colin etc
Unfortunately the NFL season doesn't really start till October 2nd, when the Chosen One makes his return against the Buffalo Bills; I will yet rejoice in the trivial contests that shall be laid out for my amusement till that providential time, starting today.
I'm getting close to being done with the NFL for good. While I don't have a problem with these guys exercising their constitutional rights I too have the right protest their protest which is what these fools don't get. I miss the NFL of the 80's and early 90's, the game is so different now. SJWs and corporate whores have completely taken over this sport.
