I'm not sure why, but I'm up to episode 9 and I want to keep watching.

Somehow the intrigue has got me hooked.

Better than some of the previous disastrous seasons, but obviously not in the same league as the first.

Finished binge watching the fifth season.

Overall pretty decent. Ends of a good note.

Season six should be fun and a huge improvement from the last several.

If you are on the fence about watching the new season, I'd say go ahead, but maybe save it for when you're bored.

That was plan from the beginning. This is one of the series I am waiting each year to come out, but at the end I watch it months later than it have comed out. HOC is very interesting, but to me not so much that I am impatiently waiting for each year, like for example Sherlock or GoT.

I watched the first two seasons and really enjoyed it. By the third season I started to get bored because Frank Underwood had already accomplished his primary goal. Seasons 3 and beyond is like an extended epilogue with no clear story.

Just finished the new season and although it started off slow, this might be the best one yet. Tons of intrigue, betrayal, upheavals etc. Great stuff.

This dude Mark Usher stole every scene he was in. Excellent character.

RE: House of Cards (TV)
I got to admit, when it started off I was unimpressed for the first three or four episodes. And of course, eventually there's another Spacey homo scene around episode 10 or 11 I think, but overall things got better towards the end. And yeah, that Usher character was pretty solid. I think they let the Conway guy burn out too easily though. Of course, he was a heterosexual conservative alpha so that was inevitable.

I just finished all the episodes. I watched like 3 episodes every day and finished last 2 seasons in a week.

I wonder if this show will continue after his chaos. I looked it up Netflix and there's no announcement yet about the new season.

RE: House of Cards (TV)
All I have to say is that Kevin Spacy's downfall seems extremely appropriate, given his role in ruining a show that started with an amazing first season by killing off all the attractive female characters, shoving unapologetic faggotry in our faces and twisting the plot into something completely unrealistic just to make feminists feel important.

As much as I probably would have continued illegally downloading this show if more seasons with Spacy were released, him getting fucked up the ass (and not in the way he enjoys) by a negative consequence associated with being a faggot/feminist propagandist is the best possible ending that "House of Cards" could possibly have.

It's not like that show was going to be a cautionary tale about the dangers of submitting to the authority of your bitch wife.

I enjoyed it when Frank Underwood committed suicide in Season 6.

Well if Season 6 is true to life....I expect it. In case you think I had seriously given away the plot!

There is another season coming and a trailer already. Looks to be focused on Claire and very likely looks like Frank will be dead one way or another...that is not a spoiler, it's just a fact admitted by the writers.

To all those interested...beware - the NPCs have gotten to the show. It's ironic comparing the first post in this thread to what the show has become.

RE: House of Cards (TV)
I skipped to the last few minutes just for shits and giggles.

I can't find or figure out how to hide spoilers here. So I'm just gonna give this a big long spoiler space. Do not proceed if you don't want this "masterpiece" ruined for you.

Saggy turkey-necked cunt on wheels Claire is pregnant for some reason. We're supposed to believe that the American public would be OK with a pregnant President who was not legally elected. Not to mention the fact that this lady probably went through menopause years ago. She also talks down to the Russian "Putin" character and makes him her bitch, even though he was a dangerous badass a few seasons ago.

Anyway, in the final minutes, it's a face down in the Oval Office between her and Doug Stamper. Remember him, Frank's guy that did his dirty work that was dead as a door nail in the season 2 finale but they just brought him back with no explanation in the season 3 premiere cause they needed the character?

Anyway, it's revealed that it was DOUG himself who killed Frank Underwood....cause he loved him so much. He loved him too much to see his legacy ruined, so he killed him. Then he gets in a fight with the 9 month pregnant Claire...no joke...and she stabs him to death. He finally dies (again) and she looks at the camera menacingly. FADE TO BLACK, END OF SERIES.

I'm not kidding. That's how they ended this garbage. I knew it was gonna be bad, but I wasn't expecting it to be THAT bad!!

RE: House of Cards (TV)
Oh motherfucker I've watched every one of these shows and just realized the lady that's Franks wife was also Jenny Gump from Forest Gump that died from aids.

I always thought it would be funny if they made Forrest Gump 2 and she gave aids to Forrest Gump. Then he goes running like the AIDS Walk where people donate money per mile. Except since he's Forrest Gump he raises like a billion dollars because he can run so goddamn far. Then everybody's pissed (except the ones with AIDS) because they figured he'd only go like 20 miles.

None the less, Jenny Gump, ill be damned. Small world.

Aloha!

The promotional photo for the new season is Claire standing at the podium with like 20 menopausal hyenas behind her. That's how I knew it was gonna be shit and just another go girrrl power fantasy.

What a shame.

I watched all seasons except for this one. Fuck that, I'm not going to.

Why?

Claire always seemed like a glorified Hillary Clinton (e.g. how she wanted to be).

It's a good thing because maybe people will be careful not to elect such idiot women as presidents.

I'm watching Season 6 because fuck it I'm going down with the ship.

The writing is awful and Claire is a huge cunt and has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. She probably pees standing up.

Frank was a motherfucker, but the guy had charisma and wit and enjoyed playing the game. Claire was just riding his coattails and now that she has power she doesn't even enjoy it.

You want to know the only thing you can assume about a broken down old man? It's that he's a survivor.
