Tonight, one of my buddies had his friend's dinner party at a bar. I met up with him later on in the evening. Theres only a small group of guys that I've met and would roll out with when it comes to girls. I have 2-3 buddies that make the perfect wings, and a couple others that are just fun to be out with and don't really help or bother me when it comes to me approaching.

I've been out with a lot of different guy friends, sometimes as part of social circle outings and such. Most guys just don't do it. They will throw you under the bus for a chance at a phone number and they will try to use you to help them meet girls, throwing both of you off in the process.

Unfortunately, 2 of my closest friends that were perfect mates on nights out are in different parts of the world right now. So most of the nights I go out are solo. More challenging and a bit less fun, but more self development I guess.

Scenario:

I approach a girl at the club that is with one friend. I spin my girl and she is receptive and is touching me plenty. To include the other friend, I spin her as well and make a positive remark. If the friend likes me, she will let me dance with my chosen girl and find her other friends in the club. If she is just with my girl then she'll go get a drink and come back in 10 minutes, enough time for me to escalate as much as I can and make an impression that results in a receptive phone number the next day.

Since the friend wasn't as cute as my chosen girl, I don't expect my wing to come help, and often he only will to distract her if she was attempting to cockblock, which is sometimes the case. Although if I approached two girls in the first place I'm making sure the one is receptive and not the type that just goes out with 1 friend to dance and receive attention and deny any approaches. When my guy friend approaches a group of 2 I will only step in in a scenario that can help him out. There's no point otherwise.

Usually a good scenario in this case, with one of my good wings.

A normal friend or acquaintance of social circle that is out with me that night however:

Will watch me approach the cute girl in the group of 2, will stare them down analyzing every move, making them feel uncomfortable if the girl notices. The worst is when he just comes to my side and stands uncomfortably close to all of us expecting me to introduce him. The actual worse is when he will start talking solely to the cute girl that I approached



That's only one scenario when out with chode guys. I haven't had to deal with that in a long time thankfully.

It helps to separate what you do with friends. I have some really cool buddies I do other things with, like chill over beers and TV, play footy or go to the gym.. But in most cases I don't bring these guys out because they suicide both of you when it comes to girls. The exception is a night out where you don't care much about girls and you are just looking for fun with your boys.. those are fun too.
