@rossi, nobody gived a fuck? I remember Juventus and Pirlo with their dick's in the hand waiting for the guaranteed final..

@rocha, do you usually play football in Lisbon?
Rossi · 2018-06-13 19:44:00 · #3801
I am in Moscow for 3 days now. I wasn’t expecting Moscow to be this much of a beautiful city. It’s very very nice city, buildings are pretty, streets are very clean, overall it’s very organized city.

People are very friendly to everyone, few bars actually gave us one round free beers because I’m hanging out with a lot of Argentinians. Girls are one of the best in the world. Despite the common belief, girls are really helpful and welcoming to tourists.

So far, so good. I have never seen any trouble anywhere or any fight. But interestingly, there are over 30,000 Peruvian fans came here along with Colombian, Argentinians, Mexicans, Iranians, Australians that I have seen so far.

First game is in 10 hours. Lets see what happens.

This is the BBC trailer for the World Cup:

Despite what you think, it was not computer graphics. This is how it was made:

They should just cancel the Qatar cup and move that one to North America. It is a dream come true to finally have a chance to watch a live world cup match, when it comes to my city.

Too bad I gotta wait 8 years for it.

I think that played a big part of USA winning the 2026 bid Wink
So that they don't make another fuss about 2022

English fans are singing pro-Nazi songs and chanting “Sieg Hitler” to provoke Russians. Oh poor innocent English fans. Why does everyone attack them for? mrgreen

Britchard, where are you? What’s English media saying? Maybe Kremlin infiltrated English-looking-Russians inside of English fans and they are chanting for Nazi’s.
MANic · 2018-06-21 03:46:00 · #3806
^^^ English fans, just as bad in the post-hooligan years. Coversely Three Lions rugby fans and the Barmy Army (cricket) are class acts (probably the best fans I've interacted with) across codes.

3 English fans in a bar. Wow. Conclusive.

You're really scraping the bottom of the barrel after your prediction that 'there will be 20 hooligan fights and 18/20 of those will involve the English'.

All I've seen on twitter and youtube is stories of English fans going on drinking benders with Russians to try and out-drink each other.

What was your other pre-tournament mocking? No English referees? The standard of refereeing has been absymal, even from the UEFA referees. The Premier League referees are miles better than the bunch of amateurs here.
El Padrone · 2018-06-22 16:08:00 · #3808
Standard of refreeing has been abysmal? Is England watching the same world cup as everyone else? If Kane whines of being fouled, what the hell should Neymar say?
britchard · 2018-06-22 16:22:00 · #3809
Neymar isn't being fouled, he's diving. Yes, the standard has been abysmal. Look at the match tonight, so inconsistent and then Mitrovic was denied the most obvious penalty ever. Same for Kane. Tunisian player blocked a free kick from being taken for 20 seconds, didn't get a yellow card.
Teutatis · 2018-06-22 22:52:00 · #3810
Next Rossi will be posting about English fans killing puppies and making little girls cry.

Apologies if this a repeat but it made me laugh:

Especially after watching this:

and this oldie but goldie:

Synezthetic · 2018-06-27 22:18:00 · #3812
Neymar's whining and diving make it impossible to root for Brazil.

I watch a lot of Premier League, so England v. Belgium is appealing and also interesting considering the scenarios.
With both teams already through, it's really in the best interest of both to LOSE, so they can end up on the Right side of the bracket instead of the Left:

A round of 16 matchup with Colombia or Senegal wouldn't be a walk in the park by any means, but you'd definitely still want to be on the Right half of the bracket.

So the retards at Chelsea fired a great manager in Conte because he spoke the truth about the autistic board bringing in 8 average players as against bringing in 2 - 3 great ones. And who is he replaced with? An empty - trophy - cabinet incel! A sad day. I'll enjoy the beatings inflicted from real clubs.

Yeah, they're supposed to present Sarri within days and look to sign Jorginho and maybe Higuain...both of which by Sarri's request.

Very curious to see what's going to happen with Morata and Giroud
Labienus · 2018-07-12 14:35:00 · #3815
Higuain is definitely leaving now that Juventus signed Cristiano Ronaldo.

I would avoid him if I were Chelsea. Yes, he had his best year under Sarri but he is overweight and rapidly declining.

Agreed.
It all depends on how Sarri wants to play though.
Conte plays with a 3-5-2...while Sarri plays with 4-3-3
Sarri showed a nice football with Napoli but failed to impress in the Champions League. Granted he had less pressure when he was signed from Napoli, while at Chelsea he will be expected to bring results soon and maybe Higuain fits better in Sarri's schemes.

Traditionally italian coaches do well in Premier.

Rant here: How does Chelsea hire Zola, a man who FAILED in every of his prior appointments as manager as deputy to the chain smoking incel they just got themselves? I mean the dude was working as a third rate loudmouth just of recent! I'm a Chelsea fan so in meltdown mode now.

I understand your point of view but I think Chelsea didn't sign Zola himself but Sarri picked him as his vice.
To my knowledge when a club signs a coach/manager it's not just him, but his complete staff, meaning the vice, the goalkeeper's coach, the athletic coach and in some cases even the cook.
It's like a package and if you look at it it makes sense since a coach needs to have a trusted staff to work with and can't do everything on his own.
One of the greatest coaches I've ever seen, Ancelotti, is replacing Sarri at Napoli and he has his son in his staff. This is a classical case that coaches have free picks on their staff.

Cheers!
PS: Don't be so pessimistic yet Smile

^ I wouldn't be surprised if Chelsea sells some assets (Hazard esp) this year to build up for a run two years from now.

Realistically City, United, and Liverpool are all CL locks so they will be competing against (at minimum) Tottenham and Arsenal for 4th.

True, especially with a new coach and a couple of players that are not that sure how they will play.
Hazard might be on Real's shopping list. Giroud and Morata are not sure to stay, taking into account that Sarri will want Higuain to join him (he already signed Jorginho). Courtois might leave (there's a domino effect here with him and DeGea and Navas and Alisson Becker). I still don't know why Chelsea bought David Luiz back from PSG...

Chelsea doesn't have a bad team, they won Premier just 2 years ago.
El Padrone · 2018-07-13 14:06:00 · #3821
Thanks kuqezi. Enoch, your post just made me more pissed with the autistic Board(and the unmarried broad heading it). It used to be that you don't mention Chelsea in the same sentence with Arsenal and Tottenham. Now it seems an honor. :-(
rudebwoy · 2018-07-13 19:46:00 · #3822
Where is Giroud going to go, his Mrs loves London.

I would be worried about the owner, he wasn't able to secure a visa and is now set up in Israel.

Hazard to Real, has to be a done deal this summer.

Ronaldo to Juve, wow that will be something to watch.

What's so hard not to understand?

Zola will be bridge between Sarri and Chelsea fans. Zola clearly knows Chelsea inside and out, obviously Italian and he will explain to Sarri how it is everything in England and also in Chelsea.

When Italian manager goes to La Liga, this is not needed but Premier League, England and lifestyle is a lot different there. You need to adjust, thats why most of Brazilian and Argentinians choose to play for Spanish and Italian leagues. English lifestyle doesn't suit Italians, Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilians or Argentinians.

Sean Cox, the Liverpool fan brutally attacked by Italian football fans is finally out of a coma after 3 months of what must have been hell for him and his family: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-me...e-44838154

One can only assume that the Italians were extremely provoked by this hard-working 53 year old father of 3, they were in no way seeking trouble and the only reason this happened is because they were in England.
