My dad was a player according to my mother, he and his brother hit up the town plenty in his day as a teen/early 20s. He grew up in the city of Manchester so he had plenty of prospects but my mum told him to get lost on the few occasions he flirted with her.

My dad realised that chasing easy lays wasn't what he truly wanted and he put effort into dating my mum and here we are today and not divorced. My dad was her only guy 100%.

It's not so much about the number as much as what you consider a carousel rider. For example, is a woman with 1 partner a year a carousel rider? How about 2? 0.5?

Both stock and flow matter for a woman's sexual history.

It's a matter of what the function is that describes the tradeoff between the two in considering a woman as a long term prospect.

A 25 year old that has 8 lifetime partners (one a year) seems more unpalatable to me than the 18 year old with 2 lifetime, but they both occurred in the same year. However, if the numbers were 8 and 6, respectively, I would be more forgiving of the former.

Another reason, I suppose, to date younger chicks.

It's an interesting question... considering most of the forum was born 20-40 years ago, social moret's were much more conservative in how women fucked around... the next generation who will be born now will have a totaly different perspective. I've always thought my mom was a virgin before my dad, and I still believe that, although I've heard rumblings she may have had a bf or two when she was very young before my dad (but remember this was a different time)

Too man problems with this logic
A. I've seen girls keep bad boy fuck buddies around for years so their numbers don't increase too much.
B. Most stats show intent means dick for a girls number.
C. Women change mindsets like crazy, this girls I see is now for sure all about having a partner after months of fucking everyone and everything, I guarantee her mindset about sex changes all the time.

It depends on the end goal. If you're goal is marriage then anything over 2 dicks is asking for divorce, just look at the stats.

I was going to say 10 to 20, but now I wonder about 30 as an upper limit. She definitely slept around some before she finally got married. Didn't really start coming out until I was married for a years and in my mid 20s.

This is something I have wondered more about since I took the red pill, and considered the factors that make a stable marriage.

I mean your parents are not only are your first and primary role models of what a man and woman are, but their own personalities and interaction clearly influence how you start thinking male-female relationships work, so knowing their history is important. I know my lazy father and dominating, complaining and "I'm always the victim" playing mother clearly made me into a very strong beta (almost omega) in my teenage years and throughout my 20s.

My mom was already in her 30s when she met my father who was only a few years older than her. The marriage has lasted and they are still together today. However, it's not a fantastic one. They argue regularly, and from when I can remember, even as a small child I never saw any kissing, hugging, or PDA between them...not even in casual family photos. Seems like they stayed together simply because I was there as a kid, and after that, because they have known eachother for so long and don't want to be alone.

Before getting married my mom did a lot of travelling, especially across Europe. She also had her own car and was renting her own apartment. I have seen photos of her in her teenage years and when she was 20-30. She was good looking, feminine, although probably a bit on the bitchy side....but in any case, would definitely have been approached regularly. If I had to estimate I'd say somewhere between 5 and 20 different men before my father.

Today, with a red pill mindset, I know when she got married to my dad she was hitting that age where she was getting serious baby rabies and knew she had to settle. My estimation of my father (which wasn't great to begin with) went down much more when I consider it from this angle.

I have never had the guts to ask my mother her number....
...not that she would tell me the truth anyway. No woman ever does.

But if I ever did ask that question I would only do it when I was alone with her, and would watch her facial expression and body lanaguge very closely. She probably would be very uncomfortable and want to change the subject quickly.

Maybe I should ask my father his best guess, as he is more likely to give me a realistic estimate....but I just don't know if I want to know this information really.

It can lead down dark paths like finding out you had aborted brothers and sisters (or half siblings if she had them with someone else)...or that your dad white knighted and "rescued her" cause he wanted to be "captain save a ho".
