JKT is on the "sex tourism map" since maybe 20 years. It's not a secret destination by any means.

It's one of the most active threads on ISG, and this since many years - most of the posts being stories about "freebies" as they say.

No but their renovations have been going on since December.

I read on jakarta100bars that Stadium has closed... My heart was crushed.

I can't wait to make my return to Jakarta this August. My goal will be to discover the lower end scene this time.

The thing is, based on what others have said, JKT is probably the best place for night game in the whole of SE Asia. Even though people have said Manila is easier overall, the nightlife and hence night game is shit compared to JKT. Bangkok has been ruined by western tourists, at least in JKT foreigner status is still alive and strong.

Life is just about making the best of what you have.

It depends on what you are after, of course the ayam (hoes) love foreigner status. But girls that are from moneyed family can be pretty insular and only go for locals, at least publicly.

JKT certainly is the best place for nightgame in my opinion.

From my experience, Manila is 'easier' in so far if you are into quantity rather than quality, you can mow through a crazy amount of online 6s & 7s if you want. While Jakarta, although good, aint quite as good for that.

I wouldn't go so far to say the Manila nightgame was 'shit' however, the nightlife was actually quite good fun I found. And the nightscene has been changing a fair bit recently. But, as another poster put it, there did seem to be a bit of a 'glass ceiling' when you are trying to pick up the 8s and over in the club. Can't quite put my finger on why, but I found it surprisingly hard work the two times I have been. Just seems to be fewer real hotties in Manila and they're were more aware of their 'hotness'. Plus a lot more thirst (and defensiveness) from the dudes, locals in particular, who are more than happy to finance the girls and their friend's full night's boozing so they can lock them up on a table. Bangkok I don't have that much extensive experience of but did get the vibe that the local girls are a lot more used to white dudes. And also perhaps the number of chav twat white dudes in Bangkok who act the arse lowers the value of white guys in general.

Jakarta on the other hand just seems to be more of a buyers market with more hot chicks (club sluts) and less thirst from the guys just cos there's more than enough chicks to go round and they're actively competing for you. The few white dudes there seem to be more dorky as well. But KYT88 is right in so far some of the rich chicks are more insular and stick to their own. But that seems to be true for Bangkok and Manila also for what I understand. Plus I have met a few of the Jakarta rich chicks when they're over in Singapore for a shopping weekend or whatever and they're certainly more open when they're away from home.

I was there a few weeks ago and everything was business as usual.
Suggesting to close all night entertainment after midnight is absurd and won't be enforced. I have a feeling the officials want to make more laws against normal things so they can collect a bit more money in their own pockets... But that's just my opinion.
