Sometimes if the chick is in a real gray area, I'll just straight up ask directly or indirectly how they feel about unplanned kids. By indirect, I mean telling a story about some guy I know who got locked down with an unplanned kid and how it has ruin his life blah blah and why didn't the girl just goto the clinic blah blah.

Usually, the girl will comment on how she would have handle things. If you hear shit like, "It takes two to tango", "well he needs to take responsibility for his actions", "he had his chance before having sex with her" or some variation of those statements, there is a 99.9% chance the girl will keep the kid. That all said: I recommend everyone to wrap it up regardless. I've lived very dangerously at times and while I have never gotten an STD or unplanned kid, I know the music stops for everyone eventually if you're not careful. Don't be stupid.

Go raw or go home.

I always go raw unless a girl refuses to mess around without a rubber. I had condom sex a few weeks ago and it was the worst. Second round I went soft mid-fuck because I literally couldn't feel anything. It was downright embarrassing. I have gotten an STI before (chlamydia, no big) but I'm not specifically worried about it for the most part. Most likely you are fine. In order to catch something, the other person has to have it, and even then, STDs transmission is not very efficient:

The only way to be sure is to get tested. Chlamydia and gonorrhea tests can be taken around 4-7 days after the encounter. Syphilis, HSV (herpes), and HIV would take several weeks before a test would be able to detect them.

HIV is very unlikely. To help put your mind at ease while you wait for the appropriate time to get tested, take a look at Mark Manson's STD guide.

From Manson's site, on average, you would need to have unprotected sex with 1250 women to contract HIV. This is consistent with the Dr's responses on medhelp.org (1 in 2000 chance of contracting HIV).

Like you, I'm in an LTR, so I tend to get paranoid about catching an STD when I go raw with someone besides her. I'm more concerned about getting chlamydia or gonorrhea since many women are asymptomatic so they don't even know it and the probability is higher than with other STDs. Since condoms will prevent those, I always use a condom when I'm with someone besides my LTR. The two sites I linked to above tend to keep me calm and realistic about the actual chances of getting something.

I had warts on my dick in my early 20's. It happened during an LTR with the first girl I ever fucked. 3 years into the relationship. There are several STDs that don't show symptoms until real damage is done (Example: Chlamydia can make you sterile without you ever knowing you have it) so its good to get checked out periodically. In many towns (at least here in CA) there are "free clinics" where you can go and get tested. You can even use a fake name. Depending on how many randoms you pull, once or twice a year is good

There's an alternative to condom I have "successfully" used back in the day, vaginal spermicides. Basically you insert a capsule inside the pussy 10 minutes before the act... It heats up your dick somewhat, but it's more natural than condom.

It's not a foolproof method of contraception, but neither is condom, so... You can of course increase "your odds" by pulling out. Then it's pretty secure.

It even MIGHT help preventing STDs, but the manufacturer can't legally make that claim.
