40s advice to women how to make men happy is considered "appalling".

What is considered appalling?
- Refraining from gossipping about other men in your presence
- Being fashionable
- Being generous in your assessment of other women
- Introducing you and your male friends to her attractive friends
- Drinking modestly
- Building a comfy home
- Accepting gentlemanly behavior
- Complementing a man
- Being attentive to a man
- Staying well-groomed
- Keeping conversations with male work colleagues professional rather than flirtatious
- Being able to make small talk even with men you are not attracted to

Or perhaps it is just the very idea of seeking to make a man happy that is appalling?

Isn't it amazing to think that men were once scarce and women worked on their game in order get a husband?

Today all women need to do is show up, and there will always be a man for her, well past her expiration date.

There is certainly a bit of game in this advice and it would most likely work today if a woman followed it.

There is also just a bunch of common courtesy, gender neutral.

What is the implication for women? Just turn everything around 180 and you get the recipe for the contemporary woman.

- Gossip about men at will
- Pay no attention to your appearance
- Block your men from meeting other women in your circle
- Drinking like a fish
- Pay no attention to housekeeping
- Do not accept male courtesy
- Insult men
- Ignore men
- Pay no attention to grooming
- Flirt with men at work
- Have no time for men you think are beneath you

Of course the only rule that is found to be wise:
- Being generous in your assessment of other women (even when you don't like them)

And of course we know this behavior is the thing women are least capable of doing....

Men select for femininity, gentleness, nurturing, homemaking - when men are scarce, women are forced to be feminine, gentle, nurturing, homemaking in order to find a mate.

Women select for physical strength, initiative, confidence, abundance. When women are scarce, men are forced to lift weights, be daring, be cocky, and at least put on an act of abundance.

It suddenly makes sense!

Standards for female conduct are sexist, because they constrain female conduct. That amounts to restricting their independence, which amounts to slavery and serfdom.

Yeah. Contrary to the dogma conventional wisdom here, women in the West don't end up alone and childless because they fucked around until 30, unless that's what they want. It's satisfying to think that every bitch and asshole will get the comeuppance due them, aka karma. But that's all up to chance and circumstance.

As cruel as it sounds but yes, historically, wars have been the destructive fire that led to the emergence of new societies, empires and economic upticks. Look at Germany post ww2: more jobs than people, market niches galore for new entrepreneurs and companies, men were in short supply and valued.
Wars were a normal state for thousands of years. The fact that the west has been war free for almost 70 years ( on home soil) is not a normal state but a rare find in history.

They don't end up alone, because there's no shortage of men, but most end up childless or with just one child because they are too stupid to realize they can't reliably have children past 35.

That's why birthrates are and populations are declining.

This is in line with roosh's latest post about feminism making women not responsible for anything, but men wrong for everything.

The idea that at this point in time, even talking to a woman to improve her game is considered misogyny shows the lack of perspective women have. When you give women a world that appears to work well for them, they begin to bite the hand that feeds. We made society cushy for them. They have appliances and relative safety in our societies. Of course they're apt to forget it's men making this possible.

Men are the only people who truly realize that in life or death situations, only the best survive. For women, they assume that life-or-death situations are no more than the situations they get themselves into at the super market. With little understanding that at the end of the day your survival and happiness is your responsibility.

So when a woman is approaching the wall, upset at her lack of options, she can't even fathom that her actions lead her there, nor that her actions could possibly improve her situation. She believes she's already faced the hard life-or-death situations and should be owed some leeway. Her life wasn't easy, you see. She struggled to make it as a woman in a man's world.

Honestly if a woman remains single most other women assume she's pathetic or wants to be single. There's really no excuse for failing as an American woman.
