So I had chicks say this twice within the past three days.

First time was with a chick I had met online and hadn't met yet though she texted me a lot including some very dirty stuff. Right before we were supposed to set up a meet she told me she hung out with a guy the night before who she was really into and didn't want to mess it up. I responded with some mild shock but understanding and told her good luck with everything. She said thank you. I deleted her number and kept it moving.

She's 'online' on the site we met on all that night and the next day so this confirmed that the guy was bullshit so I'm trying to figure out how I blew this layup...until she texts me early the next evening, is at my house within 30, and I experience the opposite of last minute resistance. Mascara ran and pussies bled

The next night I'm crazy horny (always) so I text this fuck buddy I have/had and get something similar. In the less than a week since we last talked, she's started seeing someone and doesn't think we can meet but she's glad I'm doing good. She responds to my first and second texts within 30 seconds but when I respond to her aforementioned statement with "k good luck with that" I get complete radio silence Delete contact.

She was a complete nympho when we first met...I was making her squirt all over the bed and she would text me pics, videos, dirty talk, etc. all day every day. Then she went really cold and distant but also said a couple things that made me believe she was catching feelings. Also reacted really emotionally and apologetically when I called her out for ignoring a couple texts and told her to kick rocks.

I hadn't had this happen before so I'm wondering now if this is a common occurrence? I'm also curious whether my reply to the second girl came off a little too dismissive and if feigning some slight regret would have guaranteed a repeat bang but we shall see.

Probably a lie. She likely feels uncomfortable for whatever reason.
Personally, I don't have the skill of charm nor the patience to deal with this scenario. I would just move on to the next one.

It's happened to me quite a bit. Always hurts because it fucks with your selfish ego, but there's nothing you can do without appearing desperate and needy except move on and don't sweat it.

A lot of times girls use fuck-buddies inbetween relationships. They're just fucking you until someone better comes along who has what she's looking for (perhaps status, committment, provider, etc). That's red pill for ya.

This one was weird. We fucked, she texted me like crazy afterwards, we fucked again a week later, she texted me that night. Most of it was dirty stuff but there were a few things that indicated some feelings were present. Then she just fell off the map. When I tried texting her, she said she was having a rough time.

Then she texted me one day asking my advice and to tell me she had been thinking of me. I didn't respond until the next day and purposely gave very vague advice because I was wary of her playing me. She didn't say anything back for a good 12+ hours so I called her out and told her to lose my number. She started frantically texting me about an hour later explaining herself, apologizing, saying things like "I thought you weren't just after one thing", etc. If I took even 5 minutes to respond she was texting me again.

We talked a few times over the next week or so but it was very brief...she would respond instantly to my messages now but was still very distant. I definitely could've been more aloof but I didn't want to be an ass if she was genuinely having a hard time. I also regret calling her out but I knew she was invested enough to listen.

Yeah, I realized that after sending it. I pretty much typed the first thing that popped in my head and meant it to be dismissive but I can see how it might appear differently.

I contemplated something like that. What I said worked so I'm not worrying about it. I never really believed there was another guy that she was so smitten with all of the sudden but I wasn't sure what angle she was playing. I think she just wanted to gauge my reaction.

Eh, I liked fucking her because she was nasty in bed and constantly horny without giving off too much of a slut vibe. That being said, she was 8 years older than me (24 to 32) and not very attractive. Still decently cute and passed my boner test with flying colors off her big ass alone but this is the type of chick that would have guys on the wall if posted in the "would you hit it" thread.

By acting like you didn't care what she did, you made it obvious that you've got higher expectations. Nobody freely lets the best parts of their life disappear, so by letting her disappear you are showing her that she isn't one of the best parts of your life.

I think the whole point of the "shit test" idea is that it just comes up naturally. I felt that would've been too dismissive. I've used that one before after seeing it recommended around her but it didn't seem to work too well. Maybe there just wasn't enough investment on her end.

I don't think the "other guy" left the picture, if he existed at all...like I said, less than 24 hours passed and she was on the dating site constantly during that time. I think he either didn't exist or my reaction swayed her.

Didn't mean to with girl #2. I think something as simple good luck with "everything" instead of with "that" would've been a little better. But oh well.

Thanks. I usually push through with this course of action and maybe it would've worked...the only problem was I felt like I had put a little too much effort in with both girls already. Maybe that was what brought up the statements in the first place. So I decided to go with more of a "great for you" nonchalant approach to balance it out.

I've heard this one quite a few times also. I think it's best to achieve a zen-like state where you ignore what they say, because it is likely that they are lying, but it doesn't matter anyway.

also I find that when in doubt how to respond to a txt, don't respond at all. sometimes I will think of something clever the next day, sometimes I don't, and sometimes I forget about it, which is probably the right goal anyway.

Pretty much exact same situation, has to be a shit test...
