There was a debate on 5 live a couple of years ago about a similar golf club not allowing women - it was a huge deal and all over the news. Of course they were forced to capitulate. What I found interesting was that one of the presenters pointed out that of all the 'one-sex-only-clubs' in the UK, 75% were women only. That was brushed under the carpet pretty sharpish.

It's so fucking dumb, like the homosexuals going after Christian bakers: it's not like nobody in a 100 mile radius will bake you a 'gay' cake, or let women play golf...just take your business elsewhere. It's like how girls are allowed to join the Boy Scouts but the reverse isn't true. Why the fuck do girls want into the Boy Scouts when they already have the Girl Guides, and why do the organisers not just explain the logic and jog them on? Bullshit!

Been thinking about these male only spaces for awhile in the context of these new tranny laws that want to give access to a person based on the gender that they "identify" with.

As usual, all of the pushback is concerned with "Men dressed as women who want to Rape Our Girls!". Which quite frankly, while a legitimate concern, is likely to happen on a very small scale (girls, after all, are very adept these days at pointing, screaming, shaming & identifying general "creepiness" not to mention, they have two legs & can run at the sight of an imposter). This is from what I can gather, the largely-highlighted & talked about problem with policies such as the recent Target Tranny rules.

What hasn't been considered, from what I've seen, is the impact that these rules will have on the general male populace (how shocking!) apart from Roosh's lovely trolling piece on how to use these new laws to day game.

Jokes aside however, it will mean problems for men in terms of male-only spaces & more specifically: restroom politics.

Now, we will also have to deal with females invading the last culturally & publicly sanctioned male-only space we have left: The pisser.

Now before you retort with "Settle down CP. I have no problems if a dame () wants to check out my size or girth. I'll give her what she wants...", consider this.

What do you want?

Men want to get the whole bathroom experience done in as little time & effort as possible. We are not there to make friends or engage others. We are there to purge & to get on with life. No ifs & definitely - no butts.

What happens now that one can use the facility that one "identifies' with?

Bitches all up in yo hissy on a Friday & Saturday night.

One of the few self-serving pleasures I get on a night out in a shitty, overpriced, overloud, underlit bar is to know confidently that when I break the seal, I am not about to spend half my night paying again in time for the liquor I have consumed.

How long until you see a line coming out of the men's john like you do with the females? We've all been to fucking festivals.

How long until after you've done your business (as that is what we men fucking do!) & then you have to AGAIN wait at the sink in order to wash up while some vacuous slut & her fat friend are finished touching-up their war paint & poking duck faces?

How long until the mens room, which while no serviced apartment, looks like the bomb site a female restroom does at the end of a night (hospo workers know what I'm saying here)? Replete with tampon bins in every stall?

AND HOW LONG until you finally surface from the above described situation to find that the 8 or 9 you've just spent an hour & $40 on has vanished?

I dare say it's a more likely outcome than the odd Bruce Jenner with a scatological bent.

With all this in mind, I think that a narrative from men along the lines of "Fuck Target! We don't want bitches in our restrooms!" would be the appropriate response to the tranny trivia being held up as the example against.

Surprisingly, there's been pushback on admitting women members from one of the oldest clubs, which stuck to its guns, even though it lost inclusion in the Open.
It's also a good loophole if you want to exclude any demographic (I'm thinking on the grounds of their ideas and politics specifically) from a business or dictate behaviour from customers: be a private member's club or association. At least one after-hours club in London has the rule that men may not approach women who are strangers but the flip-side is that you can have your own society-gyms, clubs, libraries (I'd pay fees if I knew that drunks and obnoxious idiots weren't making a row in the reading room)-and nobody can complain about it.

My favourite golf joke, which I've told on the course:
Two Mormon polygamists are competitive-bragging about how rich they are.
The first one starts off strong: 'I have a five-bedroom house and two cars, all debt-free, and I'm taking both my wives to Bonaire this month!'
The second polygamist nods thoughtfully. ''I have my own golf course!'
The first guy chokes on his drink. 'What? Your own? Where is it? You told me you don't even play!'
'Well, alright, it's not a real golf course, but I do have nine wives.'

In all fairness, Trump had warning Doral could lose its spot on the PGA calendar. The tournament was without a title sponsor after last year when its deal With Cadillac expired. The PGA gave him a deadline to get a sponsor and it didn't happen. I fully realize the PGA was probably happy to be rid of Trump, and there's no way they leave Doral without making it look political. But moving the event to Mexico is a thumb in the eye to Trump, but at least he gets some ammo for the trail too.

Starting new male only clubs would be an important next step since all the old ones seem to get destroyed by the current politics. Best would be that we would be the ones doing it. Male bonding is now more important than ever.

when i was in a fraternity in college, we met once a week just men. there were always women at the fraternity house, but we kicked them out for this.

our initiation week they were banned from the house. the celebration at the end of the week was usually without women and was a great time.

to put this in perspective, we had a club of women called little sisters, had weekly parties where randoms would come, and had 2 parties a week organized with sororities. there was never a shortage of women there, except in the summer.

if you are not bonding with men in the absence of women, whether its on a golf course or elsewhere, you need to do this.
