It's a hilarious video. If a random dude were to confront me like that I'd just start cracking up and think it was funny, even though I go to the gym regularly. No reason to fight over a guy talking a little trash, more people have to remember that and stop taking such offense when people talk shit to them. Especially in bars/places where alcohol is served.

Having said that, Vitaly is gonna get knocked out by someone one of these days, but I'm sure he'll still post that video.

You have to remember that guys in the south are brought up in a culture of honor. Think Hatfields and McCoys, it was brought over from Scotland and Ireland or wherever. I take lifting and such pretty seriously, but I'm legit skinny as fuck, and I think I'd just laugh at somebody if they did this. Kind of lame if you're ready to throw down with some random nut on the street for vaguely mocking you... Isn't one of the points of gaining muscle to increase your self confidence?
Seeing an amateur kickboxer who didn't look bigger than a welterweight beat the living shit out of a gigantic bodybuilder kind of made massive guys a lot less intimidating from then on...

It was obviously shot close to a big gym or sports centre on a college campus. He would have been asking for trouble if he had said that to a lighterweight MMA guy. He was pretty in your face. If it had not been done near a big gym he would have looked even more of a twat, most of the guys could see he worked out as well and generally got what he was on about, the last few guys well, he should have used his head a bit more.

I wouldn't say the people's reaction is a matter of race. Keep in mind when out shooting pranks, you may approach people for 2-3 hours and in the 3 minutes you post only the interesting reactions, that you received. You can see in his other videos that sometimes black and Arab dudes get mad too. Having enormous balls myself, I've done this do you even lift trolling, but only to huge guys of all colours. Telling them also "what's with the skinny arms, no way they're more than 5 inches bigger than my thighs!" None of them got aggressive, they all laughed. I just checked my HD, even have one on video from last summer. The guys that may get aggressive are not very big and shredded, as you can see in the video. I may try it in EE this summer and post it online.

If you read some of my posts in other, related threads, you'd know that in the last couple of years I've got training in krav maga. My earliest lessons in how to fight came from golden gloves and my father (the latter always suggesting that, if in a streetfight, see how many times you can punch a guy in the face before he hits the ground).

As far as being "thug life" - I grew up around a lot of projects but not once have I ever declared myself to be a thug, hood, ghetto, or anything like that. I'm simply a man with a very low tolerance for disrespect.

Funny how people assume that being non-confrontational is more of a "white" response, and that fighting would be a "black" response.

You do know that dueling was a major part of almost all european cultures until recently? That even the founding fathers of America challenged each others to armed duels, and shot and killed each other just because they had "beef", as a modern day rapper would say.

I also find it funny that the "gangster" stereotype is of blacks, even though white people have a huge history of gang culture in america and all over europe.
