Tenerife, you mentioned the difference yourself: organized duels were rarer and very different from random, spontaneous street violence and hurting someone because you perceive " disrespect" over some ridiculous situation. Also, you quote history and how white people acted 100 years ago. If you look at the majority of street violence nowadays I think what you call prejudice is a simple fact of life and reality. There might be varied reasons for this and I am not claiming that it is an inherent trait but there is something to it.

Game is about talking. Weights are about lifting things. They are not the same thing.

Don't get me wrong, getting bigger can make you feel better about yourself, but, too many guys think lifting will improve their game. It won't help your nervousness and lack of conversation skills.

I doubt professional MMA fighters get in a whole lot of street fights even though they probably do encounter shit-talking people. They’re not as insecure and defensive as your average guy is.

I have too much going for me and too much to look forward to in life to risk jail time and money just because some loser got to me. People get stabbed and shot just for trying to break up fights. I doubt I’ll ever be in a situation where it’s necessary to fight. I’ll most likely just call the cops.
