I think gold is actually a scam, when you don't have it they're lying to you about other girls who matched with you already. After you sign up they mysteriously disappear.

I registered on photofeeler today and according to votes there, my pictures are generally attractive but they could improve. Nevertheless that was evidence that my pictures are not the fault I am not getting any matches but because of algorithm that punished me for repeated profile resets.
Swipehelper website really opened my eyes regarding algorithm and how the app really works. I managed to reset profile using my mom's phone number (LOL) and I must say, it is real. Tinder behaves as I am brand new user and I am shown profiles I haven't seen before. Even have some likes but I haven't matched yet with anyone.

Tinder gets worse and worese(germany). Until 1,5 years ago I didnt need gold and had mass matches, also with some hot women. Nowadays I have gold but it still sucks ass. The golden tinder days are over. I dont exactly know what happened, if tinder changed the algorithmus to force the men to pay, but it is still worse with gold. Or the men women ratio has gone insane.

It's possible that you're shadowbanned. Happened to me recently. I just suddenly stopped getting matches, and the little box where it tells you the number of people who have liked me disappeared. I think the disappearance of this like counter is how you can tell if you've been shadowbanned.

Try Plus instead of Gold, there is zero point to using Gold, but Plus gives you unlimited swipes, which means way more chances of getting matches.

I live in a city of under 100,000 and I'm having no success with Tinder. I match with a lot of girls (2-5 a day when I'm using the app) but I can almost never convert those matches into dates (successful only twice out of around 100 matches). Are these poor results normal or will anyone offer me a better structure dictating how an interaction should take place? I've tried reading the previous posts but 95-99% of the nearly 300 pages seem to be unhelpful.

I know I'm asking for help while offering nothing in return, but I'm new around here so I'm still trying to figure out how I can contribute and create value in this community. Any help (with my bio, pictures, msgs, etc) you guys are willing to offer will be sincerely appreciated.

That's a bad conversion rate. I have good messaging game and convert around 1 in 7 of my matches into a date in the hardest city in the US (San Francisco).

Your bio and photos clearly aren't the problem, as you get 2-5 matches a day, which is far above average. I get a match a day with my photos completely maxed out, on a non-Plus account.

So the problem must be your conversations. Post some screenshots here and we can break them down.

I have tinder gold and I am still getting easy 50+ matches a day. I don't know if your selectively swiping but don't. Swipe yes on all and wait for the good ones to come through. Its also a goldmine if your traveling to SA. Just put your location to Bogota or somewhere like that and swipe all yes and see how many hot bitchs you get.

Unless your tinder profile/pictures are complete shit then you need to learn to do a profile correctly because for most women, they actually do read that shit.

In the states the conversion rate from talking on the app to number is maybe 4-5 girls out of 10 and date maybe 1-2 out of 10. In SA conversion rate is about 9.5 girls out of 10 for getting the numbers and 5-6 out of 10 for 1st date and then 2-3 out of those 10 for lay by first/second date.

Yesterday a girl I'd been chatting to for a month turned up for a date. Our schedule of travel had prevented us from meeting sooner. I invested the time because she was a hard 7 according to her IG. She also seemed smart and funny.

She turned up with bad skin and looking about 2 stone heavier than her pictures.

At this point I'm convinced that if a girl jumps through all the hoops necessary for a meeting (matches, talks, doesn't ghost, number exchanged) then this means her SMV is significantly lower than yours, regardless of what her pics tell you.

Girls in your league (at the very least) want nothing to do with you.

Going on vacation for two weeks but decided to take a break from Tinder for a while.

I am getting matches. I wouldn't say a TON.. but some. However, the girls that I am matching with are like 6s and I am now a firm believer that fucking around a 6 will cost you a 7 and fucking around with a 7 will cost you an 8.

In essence, I could be investing time and money in myself instead of wasting those resources (time and energy) having sex with wack chicks.

In addition I don't think my SMV is up to standard for Tinder as well. I need to work on my body (get a six pack and lean up... I am by no means fat tho) and get pro pics, shirtless pics amongst some other things if I am going to play the Tinder game. The hotter girls that matched me replied and then just ended up ghosting me after a while. The lower girls aren't really too tough to get going.

Tinder used to be able to click a girls Instagram photos then her username and automatically open tinder to message her. Now when IG opens it asks me to sign in over and over. Even when I do it still doesn’t take me to her account! I have to manually search their usernames one by one. Takes forever. Anyone else having this issue?

I am the first to complain about tinder, I am not bitter about my results, what I complained about and it’s the same for most of the other guys here is that the game is now biaised and tinder are in purpose lowering men’s SMV.
I don’t think all the guys who used to get quality lays off tinder 2-3 years ago had their SMV dropped by 3-4 points in 2-3 years.

I was getting 50+matches a day on Tinder in Sao Paulo and Rio. However, the women are very flaky so many of the matches were meaningless.

50+ matches in the USA will result in many more meets than in SA.

It was the same for me for a few days but it came a new update from Tinder and Instagram in the appstore and one of them must have worked because its solved now. So I'd recommend to see if you could update the app(s).

For what it's worth I need to drop a bit of a rant here. We've all noticed tinder getting harder but man it's been a major blow to me. I have been running tinder since 2014, literally half my lays have come from tinder (20+ something). I thought I was legit good at it.

Something changed though in the last two years, and the last year especially has been brutal. I used to get like 10 matches per swipe session. Now tinder is just totally defecating all over their app with a severely restrictive 25 swipes per session, annoying pushy Tinder gold and Tinder Plus, while the added benefit of these services is worse than what Tinder was like in the 2014-2016 era.

I just don't understand what happened anymore? It's not like I've become uglier, I actually gained mass and improved my fashion sense and improved my pictures as far as I can see. But none of that shit seems to matter anymore. My witty profile texts just don't matter anymore and it's impossible to run good numbers game when your numbers are so cripplingly low (like 3 matches a day).

I once quantified my matches to date/bang ratio in 2017, and it was 1 out of 50 which already is disheartening. Nowadays it's going to take a month to get to 50 matches, the quality is just abysmally lower and the response rate is even lower.

But it's not like that for everyone. The two Chad friends I know have a completely flipped script. When I run a fake profile with Chad pics I get 100+ matches in the first swiping round. The girls message Chad first and it only takes like 15 minutes of chatting to set up a date.

Meanwhile people in my category, I don't know, maybe I'm like a 6.5 or 7 I have no idea, but the point is that I'm not legit ugly so I still get matches... But meanwhile people in my category get in this weird place where these chicks need to talk to you for like 2 weeks straight with daily entertainment before they want to meet you. I think I find that aspect of tinder the worst of all, the fact that when you are an OK male, it means you don't get to use tinder for what it's for, instead you get to participate in a fucking conversational tight-rope act where one single misstep means it's game over.

The ONLY significant factor for success on tinder nowadays is looks. I can't distinguish myself by being in the top 20% of educated people, or having a top 40% salary, or being in the top 30% of at least being funny and witty in conversation or being in the top 30% of male tinder profiles in terms of at least having HD quality pictures. None of that shit matters for shit anymore.

I quit tinder 6 months ago for this reason, now I'm starting it up again absolutely nothing has changed.

This is what tinder is nowadays: it's a place where ALL women take turns having sex with the top 2%? top 0.2%? of men in a city in terms of the only variable that no man can change: looks. End of story. And if you are an OK guy, you get saddled up with the girls who didn't match the real Chads.

I seriously wonder what is going on behind the scenes. Are all of these 7+ girls just able to take turns banging Chads? Are all these Chads racking up 200+ lay counts. Is there some kind of secret society where they're all having orgies and laughing at the lower 98.8% of genetic waste? It seems like nobody is having sex anymore, or that everyone is having sex with just the top 200 guys per city.
